Warning scam site, numbers cancelled emails blocked

I'd like to inform everyone that this company has shut down and scammers have taken over its websites. Please be very careful: I was just scammed.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SITE, it has been taken over by scammers , I have just been scammed.

The payment through Shopify comes up with HARLAMSTR… phone number not recognised

They keep emailing me saying shipping from USA, they are based in Germany apparently I asked them to refund and they sent me another email saying refund sent … yet to recieve this… stay away !!!

I wish to alert you to concerns regarding the legitimacy of this business. Obviously, this company is now closed down and some rogue SCAMMER has taken over their sites. Please be careful. I've just been scammed.
I recently attempted a purchase and was redirected at checkout to harlamstr.myshopify.com (trading name: Harlamstr), based in Germany, I paid for the goods but never received them.

Upon reviewing Roofcabin.co.uk, I added the same item to my basket and selected Shop App as the payment method. When selecting payment via Shop App, the shipping was listed as handled by Gymlonger, based in the UK. I have thoroughly checked this business, and it does not appear to be a genuine registered company.


I strongly advise others not to purchase from this site, as there is a significant risk of financial loss. This appears to be a scam operation.

I've wanted a roof tent for a long time ever since seeing one pop up (pardon the pun) on Instagram. I've always loved camping and as soon as my kids were old enough I've been taking them away in... what is now referred to as our muggle tent.

I'm no stranger to putting up a tent but as a single mum of 2 (7 & 5 years old) it's not the easiest of things to have to deal with and keep the kids safe and entertained. There is pitching the tent/ then getting all the gear in etc. then barely time to sit down and it's time to make dinner. So it's not a trip I'm keen to do for only 1 night and do most weekends.

Enter Roof Cabin! After a lot of research and reaching out to various roof tent owners on social media I came across Roof Cabin and I'm 100% delighted with my decision to purchase their Streamline Plus. It was a big purchase for me and it was a big decision but the rave reviews about the customer service convinced me to go with them and they were not wrong. I have never experienced such great customer service, Dom especially who I mainly spoke with was quick to respond, helpful, friendly, VERY VERY patient with all my millions of questions and came to my rescue when I had an issue with roof bars for my car - absolutely going above and beyond!

The Roof Cabin - Streamline Plus - I got as it was biggest tent I could find in the hard top/ pop up style I wanted. It goes up so quick and easy and there is plenty of space for me and my growing kids to allow us many years of adventures. The memory foam mattress is very comfortable and there is plenty of space for us and our belongs.

I got my Roof Cabin in the last week of July 2022, I've had it 14 weeks and I've already been away in it on 10 trips. It's not just been trips with the kids, I love hiking and I've been several trips now where I drive up after I finish work, often arriving in the dark and finding a spot to stay for the night, very often completely free. This is something I wouldn't have done if I was pitching a tent on the ground. In a minute my Roof Cabin is up and I'm tucked up in bed ready for the morning hike. In the morning it takes me 5 minutes to pack away the Roof Cabin and I'm away. I've been away 3 times in October and some nights it's been very cold outside but we've only needed the duvet inside - not once needed a sleeping bag (which I've never found great for a cozy nights sleep). Also been in some strong winds and it's held firm and we've slept soundly vs the sleepless nights I've had in my muggle tent where I've been terrified it's going to blow away!

Really is the best things I've purchased, I love it, my kids love it (often the other kids on the campsites love it and it becomes the den lol), I've already made some incredible memories thanks to owning it and planning many more exciting trips with it.

We wanted to turn our landrover defender 90 into a camper, we kept seeing roof tents driving past etc … we then researched all the different brands for a while and roofcabin came to the top of the list .. the bed is the biggest and comfiest (important as we have 2 x four legged friends who sleep up with us) plus so so so easy to put up and put down this was really important.

The guys at roofcabin are second to none and so so helpful with everything.

It’s turned our dream of a little 90 camper into reality.

Great product and great service from all at Roofcabin.

I bought the navigator plus in spring and very happy with the use we've done so far. Been out in sun rain and high wind and tent hasn't missed a beat.
This style of tent suits us and my wife has become a camping convert due to the ease of set up and the comfort.
Nice and light and easily attached to roof bars.

The guy who dealt with me throughout the sales process was superb from start to finish. His name is Dom. What an absolutely top man.
Look no further than Roof Cabin if you are trying to source a roof tent for your car.

The roof cabin is by far the best rooftop tent that I have ever owned. The quality of the tent is excellent and is very easy to mount and demount from the vehicle. The mattress is super comfortable and there is plenty of space inside too.

I also never thought getting replacement parts would be so easy. My rubber straps had perished over time and I had misplaced my ladder but after a phone call with Alistair I had them within two days on my door step.

Great communication and customer service is on another level. Thank you Alistair and the Roof cabin team UK for making people happy and thinking out of the box to help them out.

AMAZING COMPANY - DON’T HESITATE TO BUY FROM ROOF CABIN.

The most honest review of my experience with Roof Cabin so far. Being a single mother of 2 children and parting with so much money I was sceptical of this website at first. I asked hundreds of questions. Dom & Al have been absolutely outstanding I cannot fault them! They answered every single question promptly (and I will admit most of them were probably common sense questions that I should have already known). They sourced roof bars for me and even after that I was still unsure whether to order from a company that I hadn’t heard much about.

However, after a couple of days of thinking I decided to go ahead and order on the Friday. The Roof Bars were delivered a few days later and the Roof Cabin the day after (a few days earlier than I thought). They booked me in to fit the roof cabin on the Friday but me being me (I couldn’t wait a day 🤣) I decided to recruit some neighbours to give me a hand.

I informed Dom and Al of my plans and they promptly sent me very detailed instructions on how to fit the Roof Cabin. Along with pictures, hints and tips. They were available on the phone throughout (in the evening) and were also available to FaceTime if we faced any problems.

The roof cabin is on! First adventure tomorrow! I ordered the Streamline Plus and I have a Nissan Juke. I am totally in love with my roof cabin and the quality of the Streamline Plus is excellent!

I have been on 3 adventures already (with the children and without). The roof cabin is excellent quality. One night there was horrendous rain and wind but we stayed perfectly dry. I really like the pockets inside the tent - nice touch. Very handy for things like keys and phones etc.

I did find with the wind the straps were blowing around waking me up. I am a light sleeper though so I bought some small bungee straps and I just secured the straps to the roof rack and this solved that very minor problem.

The cabin is excellent and I absolutely love it! Even 3 weeks later Dom & Al have kept in touch via social media and WhatsApp. I cannot thank this company enough. I genuinely believe I wouldn’t get this personal service from one of the big companies …. I would just be a number on the book to them! Looking forward to many more adventures throughout the summer 🏕

Brilliant service from Al at Roof Cabin, top guy, top product, you won't be disappointed if you invest in a roof cabin.

We bought our Streamline Plus back in April 2021 after saving up for a few years and had spent hours researching all the different rooftent options, we decided to go with Roofcabin as it was a small British company and hoped this would mean great communication. Unfortunately this wasn't the case and we had a difficult time throughout the purchasing process which was frustrating as it's a big investment. However since the start of 2022 the communication has been fantastic and we are now fully confident that we made the right choice to go with Roofcabin. We've had a gas strut fail and a small clasp break but both have been replaced swiftly, both easily fixed. We have been away on multiple adventures and had a fantastic experience, we've tried all types of camping but nothing compares to a rooftop tent. The team have been fantastic to deal with and super helpful and I wish them all the best🤙

To roof cabin, IBought a pop up roof tent from this company a few years ago and found it to be made extremely well, and very easy to set up it takes about 2mins max and your camping in comfort with memory foam mattress as standard, the family have had some great times and we have great memories camping of grid, av had absolutely no problem with it at all apart from 1 rubber clip that started to crack this is a small issue that got sent to me free of charge even though av had it some years, I would just like to say thank you very much for your prompt service, ps anyone thinking of getting a roof tent this is the company to go with, I looked at loads before coming across the best one,

We spent a lot of time researching roof tents after we came across various Instagram posts.
It’s a great alternative to a camper van which could set you back at least 25k!
We loved the advice and guidance the Roof Cabin team gave, and they also offered us free installation (as we were close by).
We’ve only slept on the driveway so far but we both went to sleep with a big grin on our face.
The Streamline is beautifully simple to setup and take down, it really is a completely different experience to rents and poles. The memory foam mattress is also a game changer.
