Ordered a tumble drier. Robert Dyas and their delivery firm kept providing delivery dates and the item never arrived. Item was eventually delivered 2 weeks after ordering. I will never use this company again.

I had the worst experience ever online they sent me out fault electronic toastie maker that flipped my electricity then I had to get on the phone multiple times the customer service people are credibly rude do not go here try to make a complaint but the customer service lady done nothing but argue and refuses to do the complaint do not waste your money with this company never had such bad experience
Shed
My daughter ordered a shed 2 out of three packages arrived . 3rd package turned up at doorstep no notification of its arrival. The 3rd package the roof was for a different shed. My daughter has been constantly emailing them with no satisfaction. She wants them to take the shed back and have her money back however that seems to be a problem. .

I ordered a bin for next day delivery it didn’t come - the tracking number wasn’t real!!! so I rang customer services they assured me they had placed an order for a replacement “next day delivery” this was a Wednesday p but said it’ll come the Friday which makes no sense.
Friday comes suprise no bin I called and made a massive complaint was told they do next day delivery for it but it wouldn’t come until the Monday!!!!!
After a long phoncall- a fake tracking number and a fake screenshot to say my order was on it way!!! I finally got the bin but not worthy the hassle or the stress will never use this website again!!!!
Entire experience has been a shambles.
I ordered a wardrobe via the Robert Dyas website. I recieved part 2 of 2 of the wardrobe only. After chasing them for 3 weeks it was discovered that it was delivered and signed for in Northampton (i live in Cambridgeshire) I requested a full refund but was declined this and was told I coukd have a refund after the investigation. The investigation I had already solved for them via the tracking! I then requested a replacement and was told this has now been passed on to the supplier and I'll hear back shortly with shipping details. I still haven't heard back from the supplier so my next step will be now going through my bank to try and get my £135 back.
Never again will I be ordering through this company, I have less than half an unopened wardrobe as well as no refund or further communication from their not so customer service. Appalling company, I would strongly advise you to shop elsewhere.

I ordered 2 beds for my children with a delivery date set for Tuesday .. they didn’t turn up , they assured me they would be there Wednesday guess what .. they never turned up and they blame the couriers I’m £372 down with no beds and no one can tell me when I’m getting them or where they’re ! I’ve asked for a refund as they keep telling me they will chase it up and get back in touch with me but they don’t I’m left having to chase them for updates.
They blame the suppliers then they blame the couriers etc no responsibility taken considering they’re the company on the invoice !
And still no one can explain where the beds are or when they will actually be delivered

I don't know if I've just been lucky looking at reviews but i ordered a Canadian spa hot tub, which was a fantastic price and thought I had a missing part which they sent through within a week (turns out I had the item but it was hidden in the packaging). I got through to an agent quickly and they resolved the issue. Then after a few weeks, I noticed the inflatable lid kept losing air, so I rang them again and got through to an agent within 2-3 minutes. Once again, they have spoken to their supplier and have arranged to have a new one sent. Not yet received but so far 10/10 for service. Like I say, have I been lucky twice? Not sure, but they have been great for me, and the item/price was excellent as well.
Unpleasant, over charged experience.
I bought and paid for an expanding hose online one evening to Click& Collect from the nearest store the following morning. I did this to ensure it was still in stock as it was a 'Final Clearance' item and I live several miles from the store.
The following morning I got an email to say my item was ready to collect but in store it was £2 cheaper than the 'final clearance' price I'd paid online.
When I eventually found a member of staff to talk to, she was rude, yelled for a colleague to get the item and told me the price had changed again a few hours earlier, but there was nothing I could do about it.
I asked if I could refund the unused item I'd collected and buy one from in-store but I was told in no uncertain terms I couldn't.
A really unpleasant shopping experience and I certainly won't be going back.

Unprofessional All Round
I ordered a large item which I should have arranged to be delivered directly to the recipient. I called their office to change the delivery address which they agreed. They then sent me an email on the day of delivery saying that this was not possible. I chose to accept delivery rather than cancel and reorder and wait 10 days for my money. When it arrived the following day. The driver was so rude and uncouth. I had workmen who witnessed the way he spoke to me and his hostile behaviour. I will not be ordering from them again. I haven’t opened the box but it did arrive damaged and I am hoping the product inside is not damaged or has pieces missing as it has not been opened as yet as I need to give it to the person.
Shocking customer service & delivery
I just wish I would of read all the 1 star reviews before ordering from robert dyas because I would of avoided all the stress and anxiety it has caused me since 15th July, I have been messed about & lied to by there shocking customer service its a disgrace, my first garden bench was supposed to be delivered on 2 separate dates given by them but i got no delivery so i tried contacting them but its a nightmare, i only got emails stating more lies, then i got a email saying my garden bench had got lost in transit, I emailed back saying i was going to contact PayPal & let them sort it out , then i received a phone call from a man from there customer service phoning from South Africa who told me he could send another bench out or I could have a refund, I said i would except a replacement bench as long as it was delivered by another delivery company & he assured me it would be,then i got a confirmation email saying they had sent the bench out & it was been delivered by the same company who lost the first one he had told me a pack of lies. I still haven't received my replacement bench & ill be contacting PayPal & let them sort it out = ( DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY ) . Absolutely disgraceful company & shocking bad customer service who are full of excuses & lies. ( UPDATE FROM ROBERT DYAS = 31/07/2025 = After opening a case with PayPal I got a email from robert dyas customer service saying my replacement garden bench had also got lost in transit & then got a email from PayPal saying they had rulled in my favour & i would receive a full refund. ( DO NOT BUY FROM ROBERT DYAS )

Ordered a mountain bike for my grandsons birthday on Friday 25th. What I actually got was a three wheeley bin storage shed, customer care was an absolute joke, I explained that I lived on a small boat and had nowhere to put it, I then got an email asking for pictures and an address where they can pick it up, it's not rocket science and also as many dates as possible that would be convenient to pick it up, its outside they can pick it up whenever they want. I'm going to start the reimbursement with my credit card company, because I don't think they have enough brain cells to work it out
I still don't know what is happening, people please do not buy anything on line with Robert dias, pretty sure there hoping that the mountain bike i ordered and stolen by the evri delivery driver is back in stock so they don't have to refund my money, keep getting the runaround from customer so called care team

Unnecessary plastic use
Bought a pair of biodegradable headphones trying to be more eco friendly with my purchases, but they arrived in a massive plastic bag that in total had more plastic in it than a pair of plastic headphones.
Seeing shops increasingly using cardboard and paper for deliveries, I was disappointed and will not be ordering from Robert Dyas again.
