Abandoned After Installation, No Support Provided
I had my solar system installed by this company late last year, and the experience has been extremely disappointing.
The representative who sold the system to me has completely stopped responding no returned calls, no follow‑up, and no support after installation.
When the system developed faults, I contacted their staff and was given instructions that made the situation worse.
Since then, I have repeatedly reached out for help, but I have been ignored.
I am now left with a non‑functional solar system while still paying monthly for the loan they lure me to secure for the solar.
The level of customer service is unacceptable. A company that installs essential home equipment should not abandon customers once payment is made. My experience shows a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and after‑sales support.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

When you made contact with the office regarding a monitoring issue (Something every customer will come up against, assuming they change their ISP, router model or wifi password at some point), you were provided a standard end-user instructional video detailing how to get yourself back online.
You then proceeded to remove the monitoring dongle from the system, which is not a standard operating step for re-pairing, and were given a basic rundown of how to re-insert it.
At no point have you been ignored, however we can not send out an engineer for free for problems that are not related to the system, but rather end-user error. It is specifically outlined in our contracts that it is you that is responsible for re-pairing your monitoring system.
If you need more in-depth guidance on how to re-pair the system once the dongle is reinserted, please call us on 03305 202053 and I'll walk you through the process remotely. This process typically takes 5 minutes or less, assuming instructions are followed properly.
That being said, your monitoring system being offline does not mean that your system itself is offline. Until your system is re-paired, you can rely on the inverter's display to inform you of the live performance figures

Once I had googled solar panels
Once I had googled solar panels, I was overwhelmed with companies contacting me. Only one offered to visit me and explained all about solar panels, battery storage and ev charging. I was so pleased to meet Rashid who was very professional, non pushy and took his time to explain everything to me.
I can totally recommend this company for their professionalism, reassurance and for Rash’s aftercare. The installation team were very pleasant and removed all waste and left it all tidy.
The app that is installed on my phone is better than watching T.V. I can now watch what the solar panels are producing, what my house is using, what the battery is storing and more importantly, what electricity is being exported to the grid 😁. I highly recommend this company and the professionalism of Rashid. Thank you.

Great Service
Ashley came over, took time and listened to what I wanted to get out of the system and designed the system around me, there was no hard sale and he explained everything and what would happen next. The installation guys were very professional, did an excellent job with as little disruption as possible and left no mess. I had one slight issue so sent a message on a Saturday evening not expecting it to be picked up until Monday but Ashley came back to me 10 mins later. Amazing service and great company, would highly recommend.

Rest Solar Panels - AMAZING
I came across Rest on social media and decided to enquire about solar panels, honestly one of the best decisions I’ve made. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding.
Ash, the sales rep who visited me, was absolutely incredible. He explained everything clearly and in a way that actually made sense, without any pressure at all. What really stood out was how thorough he was, he even showed me the different costings and broke down how they work, which gave me a lot of confidence in the product.
The installation process was smooth and professional, and now that the system is up and running, I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s performing brilliantly.

Beware - not a pleasant experience
A salesman visited me to provide an estimate and spent 2.5 hours on a Friday evening at my property. I entered into a contract but upon comparing it with another quote from one of the largest solar installation companies I could see that it was not only £2,800 more expensive but it was also a lower specification so I cancelled the contract within the cooling off period. I also thought it was odd that they could install the panels within 2 weeks of entering into the contract whereas competitors quoted 8 weeks.
I was then subjected to an attempt by the sales manager to continue the contract with an offer of a half price supplementary battery that would be required to increase capacity. He conceded that the salesperson had deliberately not included this to keep the cost of the quote down rather than focusing on my requirements.
To make matters worse the contract was cancelled on the 24/3/26 but my emails requesting the return of my £250.00 deposit were ignored until today (14/4/26) when I advised that I would place the matter in dispute with my bank if the refund was not generated today. This has finally been resolved with the customer services team.
