Just avoid and do it yourself
It said on their website they were planning on taking payment on the 1st of January for a house I don’t move in to till August. I tried ringing , their number is unavailable, I message online support, nothing. Patrick from the info@ email was the only reason this review has 2 stars. He replied quickly and was quick to help. And the next day he replied quickly again and helped me with deciding to cancel my subscription, to which I’m waiting for a response from the operational team to cancel my package which will hopefully come today.
To be honest I’d just AVOID these companies. It’s so much easier to set the bills up yourself and set standing orders up with your housemates.
OH! And to add, the button they have that says update your services , where you can supposedly stop your subscription? Does nothing. My housemate and me both sent MULTIPLE requests of these to cancel or stop and it did nothing at all.

Didn't make bills easier (used them for 2022/23)
My housemate was on the phone to them most months during our tenancy to sort out problems (which came from Resooma's end). Overall we were hugely overcharged, by £720 for the house overall, and we only got that refunded 3 months after our tenancy ended. It would've been far easier to sort the bills ourselves and deal with housemates paying late.

Was fine in the beginning. Moved into a house share Aug of 2022 and moved out Dec of 2022. This is important to note because I was not living there the last 8 months of the contract but a new tenant had moved in and taken over my lease and bills. That was fine until today, over a year later, I get an email that I have an outstanding balance on my account and when I logged in it says I owe £90 in bills for this past month....I haven't lived there in over a year and the original lease I signed would have ended back in Aug of 2023. However, when I log into my Resooma, it shows me my charge but also that I, along with the 5 other housemates I had last year, are still residing in that house and that our move out date is Aug of 2024. I don't even live in the UK anymore, I'm in the US!!!! I'm not sure if my previous housemates decided to resign the lease and just readded me on Resooma but I am not paying a cent. I've contacted Resooma and nothing. When I tried I delete my account last year after I had moved out, they told me that wasn't possible. If they had just deleted it, none of this would be happening. I'm not paying anything as I don't live there and I can't get a hold of anyone. This is so ridiculous! And why on earth would you extend my house contract length on the site by an extra year without contacting me to see if I still live there???

TERRIBLE company!!
TERRIBLE company!!! Please avoid for student bills, we used them for our student house and had nothing but problems all year. We kept getting letters from our bill suppliers, would send the letter to resooma who told us they had actioned it and then we would get another letter saying debt collectors were coming to collect the unpaid amount. Slammed with a £2500 energy bill at the end of our tenancy as apparently our supplier hadn’t got any of our payments from resooma (?). Resooma were then unable to find where this money we had paid ALL year had gone and we had to pay the bill. They are an awful company, we switched to OneUtility at the start of this year and somehow are still getting emails from Resooma about bills they haven’t paid. Wondering where all the money we paid all of last year has been going as it obviously wasn’t on our bills. Their inability to do their job destroyed the credit score of my housemate as she was the head tenant. I really would avoid we’ve had nothing but trouble.

After my experience with Resooma, I believe it’s a scam!
If you’re reading this and you are a student please run! My flat mate and I didn’t believe the other students reviews that told us “it would be better for us to burn ALL our student finance over a bonfire than to set up your bills with resooma,” we should’ve listened.
Around about this time last year, my flat mate and moved into our second year house and set up our gas and electric bills with resooma (worst/biggest mistake of our lives). Not only did resooma not pay the gas and electricity company our money, which ranked up a massive debt for my flat mate and I, they would lie to us and tell us that it’s being sorted out but then we would later find that they haven’t done anything. After countless phone calls and many emails, three months later they finally did their job.
Fast forward to October 2023, my flat mate and I have been told that we will be getting a refund for the amount that we paid as during the summer we were hardly at the property so we were paying £95 just for the sake of it. In the first week of October, the first women I spoke to lied to me and said that our refund would be with us within the next 24/48 days, it’s now November 2023 and we still haven’t gotten anything. I’ve spoken to three other incompetent individuals who say similar things like “I’ll speak to my finance team and get back to you,” they never do.
I honestly think it’s wrong to have chase a company down for my money. It’s unprofessional and it’s just disappointing to be honest because most of the customers that resooma get will be students who already don’t have a lot of money.
Lastly, this company made me cry on the way to university because I was so stressed and hopeless.
Like I said at the beginning, if you’re reading this and you’re a student… RUN!

Terrible service - outstanding bill
House of 4, uni students, sep 2022 to July 2023. Was going smoothly until resooma switched one of our services, we somehow gained a £300+ outstanding bill while we were still paying bills. Got told it will be sorted out, it wasn’t. 5 months later, moved out the house, now dealing with debt companies and resooma won’t give us a breakdown or straight forward answer as to why this bill never got dealt with like they said they would. Not worth the stress. They’re taking months at a time to give us updates, had to ask multiple times for documents.

We spoke to Zara over the phone today about some questions we had regarding our bills and wifi set up plan. She thoroughly explained everything for us and proceeded to raise concerns with partner companies on our behalf. Have been helpful throughout the whole set up especially from a house who are new to paying bills etc.Would definitely recommend speaking to Zara if you are in a similar position to what we were. DO NOT USE RESOOMA
Been with Resooma for 2 months now. I have had a court summons for late payment on council tax, they haven't paid my water bill and they cannot give a reason why. Do not waste your money or time trying to talk online to them, as it takes 3-5 working days to get them to reply. A truly awful service leaving me potentially homeless.
Edit 04/10/23 : After having to call all of my suppliers myself and double check whether they have been paid or not (1 of which hasn't been paid). And spending 3 hours on to the phone to my council, i finally have some idea of what's going on.
Funny that the review team can respond faster than any of there any other employees, they could not even be bothered to email me to help solve the problem. Billing better is now trying to charge me a cancelation fee of £120 for a service I could give blindfolded.

Avoid this company
Avoid this company. My daughter has had lots of issues and ended up with a debt. Resooma failed to pay the gas until right at the end of the tenancy resulting in debt letters of over £2000 from an energy supplier they thought they’d been switched from. Resooma finally paid the gas bill but my daughter had to liaise with the energy company and then Resooma to resolve this.
We have no idea why the energy provider didn’t switch and Resooma didn’t bother telling us there were issues with the switch.
We’ve tried emailing Customer services to get a breakdown of how our money has been spent per service and also ask for explanations of why we were not switched, but they reply with dismissive emails and just refer you back to live chat.
They bank on people getting fed up and dropping issues. I am now investigating on whether we can refer them as brokers to Ofgem. I really would avoid using them. The whole point of using them was to simplify billing and it’s been the exact opposite and nothing but hassle dealing with them.

Dont use irresponsible Resooma
Dont use Resooma who are being used by my 3 student tenants and they had collected their monthly payments for appx 8 months without passing on any of the payments to the two separate Gas and Electric providors. When a tenant asked why they were receiving large overdue bills direct withdebt collector threats she was told that the Energy Supplier was TSEG and they had been paid up to date. TSEG is not an Energy providor, its another billing service that had no account with Resooma at that time. In fact payments were being held by Billing Better and they confirmed that TSEG were not involved despite the lie written on the Resooma accounts sent to the students. Billing Better said this was the fault of the students for not telling them the names of the Utility providors, but they had sent no reminders ever, as they were happy to keep the funds. I had to insist that the tenants give the information, or Resooma would not have paid the Utility Providors for 11 months. They switched electricity providor in June without warning or asking for an up to date account. Now Resooma are saying that they must hold back payments from the Electric providors in case the estimated usage was higher than the metred usage. That was Resoomer's fault for not informing g of the switch date in advance and not requesting a meter reading. The tenancy ends in a few days and it's obvious that Resooma will be using their own mishandling of the switch to hold onto some of the payments already made by the Students who they pretend to act on behalf of. Update 4/8/23
The BIll for electricty from Octopus Energy is now -appx £1,900 at the end of 11 months tenancy they have not been paid anything ever. If the students cant get Resooma to pay it within 2 months according to Resooma rules then the customer students lose the right to a refund of their 11 months of payments and yet will have to pay in full direct arrears to the utilities. That way Resooma get to keep forever a whole tenancy worth of payments collected, which due to Resooma's lack of transpancy and obstructive customer service is probably what they are planning to do. They seem have criminal intentions or otherwise if they are so bad at what they are doing, then they should be stopped.
