Same as everybody else. I thought I was dealing with the hotel itself and got overcharged. AVOID!!!

Dishonest, not business professional and policies are not specific. Thought that we were dealing with the hotel directly when calling. The reservation was at a hole in the wall building, posing as a hotel.

Stay away from them.

Our family had a wonderful experience at the hotel. Calvin from the front desk was awesome!!! He was a delight to interact with and provided whatever we needed. Thank you Calvin 😊😊😊

0000 stars! Total scam! Thought I was booking directly with the hotel. When we arrived, the hotel had our reservation, but the digital card that reservation desk has sent over was denied several times. We were unable to get in touch with anyone to find out what the problem was. We ended up having to pay for our rooms all over again. Will be in denying this charge on our credit card. Hopefully that will work.

WE JUST PULLED UP WENT TO THE SIDE WINDOW TO LET THEM KNOW WE WE'RE LIED TO AND TO PLEASE CANCEL THE RESERVATION AS A COURTESY SO THEY COULD FREE OUR 2 DAY SLOT. CONTACTED RESERVATION. COM AND WAS IMMEDIATELY TREATED LIKE CRAP AS IF WE DID SOMETHING WRONG TOWARDS THEM (WR WERE THE ONES LIED TO) WAS RIPPED OFF OUT OF $276 AND THE BOOKIN AGENT AT RESERVATION.COM CALLED BACK ON 2 DIFFERENT OCCASIONS JUST TO TAUNT ABOUT HOW WE WEREN'T GETTIN A REFUND NEVER RESERVE THROUGH RESERVATION.COM THEY'RE SCAMMERS JUST TO GET YOUR MONEY BECAUSE THEY KNOW THAT YOU WONT RECIEVE A REFUND. Reservationdesk.com SCAM. February 2026. I thought I was making a reservation with a hotel in Puerto Vallarta. They put me on hold many times. We agreed on a price, took my money, then sent me elsewhere to finish the booking. The price went up and I told them that was not what I agreed to. I ended up cancelling and they kept $900+ of my money. It doesn't matter to them that it was their fault, no refund. My bank is working on the issue. If a company has been scamming people for years why haven't they been taken down. I don't understand that at all. How can we go after them, destroy their ability to keep scamming people!!!

This company is a total rip off. Don’t use them! They pop up first when you do a Google search for the resort you are interested in. I fell for it and even though it says no cancellation fee. They charge a service charge fee of $17.99 and they refuse to refund that fee. Lesson learned pay closer attention to the site you are on. ☹️😡

We stayed at the Hilton in rapid city by the convention center. We were required to pay $15 a night for parking yet. We were unable to use the hotel parking because of all the activities going on in the convention center when we notified the front desk, they told us that it was unfortunate but we could move our vehicle maybe around 10 PM but there was nothing that they could do for it. This was an extreme inconvenience and because we had to pay out-of-pocket, for it seemed a little unjust when we couldn’t even utilize it.

We booked a room for two nights, thinking we were booking with the hotel. When we arrived to check in, the hotel did not have our reservation, even though we received a confirmation email after booking and were charged for our two night stay. The hotel was fully booked when we arrived. We spent two hours on the phone with RD to try to resolve the issue and they were completely non helpful and non apologetic. They did not care that they made a horrible mistake or that we were stuck in a parking lot with our three kids. They told us that they had received a notification from their “sponsor” that morning that the hotel was booked and our room was unavailable, yet they accepted no accountability. They made no attempt to contact us to inform us of the unavailability (which, again, they supposedly received the morning of our check in date). They then asked me if I wanted to “cancel my reservation” which never apparently existed. I am unsure if we will receive a refund. Dealing with them was the biggest headache. This company is a major scam and it’s so disappointing, sad and frustrating to see that other people have had these same issues and these guys are still in business.

Like everyone else I thought I was speaking with the hotel desk. They want to keep a credit card fee which I see was a separate charge. I cancelled my reservation within 2 hours of booking. All they need to do is void the transaction before it batches out for the day. I will call my credit card company if they do not refund the entire amount as they stated they would. If there is fine print it can't be read over the phone and they can't be vetted while speaking with them either. I had a hard time understanding with the heavy accent and all the family noise in the background. Most unprofessional.

Beware this company is a scammer! Like everyone else, I thought reservation desk was the hotel for Country Inn and Suites. They quoted me a lower hotel rate that was 'just available today because of the date you're booking' and the woman was talking very quickly and hard to understand and said if I canceled by a certain date I could get a full refund. When I received my confirmation they added $32 in 'taxes and fees' and an additional 17.99 'service fee' and guess what, even if you cancel within the cancellation window that amount is non-refundable. I called them and cancelled and demanded a full refund and then to talk to a supervisor the person kept just repeating her canned message and said she would 'escalate it' and 'they' would review. I basically lost $20 in the space of a few minutes. This company is a huge scammer.

WOW WOW WOW!! THESE GUYS ARE A SCAM!!!!!!!!! I have traveled for over 30 years staying in hotels. I too thought I was speaking directly to the hotel but it was these A holes. .. I booked a one night stay, we had to cancel due to a sickness. . .. I have been waiting over a week for them to cancel the reservation. The HOTEL itself felt so badly they cancelled the room on their side. So Reservation Desk is now attempting to BILL ME for a room I never stayed in. THESE GUYS ARE A SCAM . . . . ..I will get my credit on this room OR I will go to the better business bureau and report their behavior. Can we believe ANYONE in this world anymore. RESERVATION DESK SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.

If I can give a zero rating, I would. When booking a hotel, I mistakenly thought I was booking WITH the hotel itself - the documentation all looks like it's from the actual hotel and the operator I called made it sound like he was with the hotel. The costs were $400 more than normal! (not kidding) When I asked about a government rate, as I was booking for work, he was not clear that this was not the normal hotel as our government card comes with rights and privileges such as cancelling at any time at no cost. He dodged the question and essentially said there was just a $3 charge for it. Good thing I accepted it, otherwise I would have been out over $1000 for just 2 nights stay. THEY ARE NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Or 5 full turd emojis if that were the rating system. Booked a hotel room through this company and when I got to the hotel they said the room wasn’t available. I had to get another room and still got charged by Reservation Desk for the original room that wasn’t even available. Then when I disputed it with the credit card company they actually fought me and provided some sort of documentation to show the room was available and it was a legitimate charge when the room was rented upon arrival by someone else and it was absolutely not a legitimate charge. Called several times to see if they would make it right and they always said it would be refunded but it never was. So I threw away about $200 bucks for a room I never got. The following caps are intentional: BEWARE DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY WHATSOEVER. You will likely get scammed and they will fight and stonewall you every step to keep anything they get from you even if you receive nothing in return! Just book with the hotel directly. Or use one of their competitors such as booking.com., Travelocity, Expedia, or Priceline. These are far more reputable companies although saying that they are better isn’t a high bar to clear. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Not even in cases of emergency. If they were the only company available due to a solar flare shutting everyone else down, and I had a loved one in the hospital and had only days to see them… I’d pack a tent and go before trying to get a hotel through them again.

Absolute scum. They use misleading marketing tactics that make you think you’re calling the hotel direct when in reality you’re just calling a shady middle man who charges a fee to then book your room online through the Expedia network. You will 100% regret your experience dealing with these people.

My experience with reservationdesk was horrible - they ruined my son's proposal. Ruined the whole weekend for them. They were promised a nice room at a high level with a view and when my son checked in with his soon to be fiancé they were on the 3rd floor facing a wall. NO VIEW!!!!! I was charged extra for the view. THIS IS ALL A SCAM!!!!!

Can I leave a 0 star review?! This company is a scam and I’ve had a case open with them since 12/26 in which they advised 5-7 business days for an outcome. It is now 1/12 and we have yet to receive any information regarding our case. I looked up our hotel and clicked the number that was listed for it, this took me to the reservation desk which I didn’t realize wasn’t the hotel. The lady who booked my room advised we were booking directly with the hotel and that there would be no surprises with the room we were booking. She said that was the benefit about booking directly through them -“the hotel.” Fast forward to my check in when we did not receive the room we had paid for. I called requesting a partial refund as we paid for a suite with a separate living area and instead of 2 beds, we only had 1 bed for 4 of us! Depending on how this case gets handled, I’ll update my review. As it stands they are untrustworthy, unaccommodating scammers. It’s impossible to speak with someone helpful who can do anything about the request. I requested the call recording as this is what they were supposed to be reviewing, have yet to receive. Awful company, I believe they boon through Priceline. ALL - PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THROUGH THEM. USE hotels.com or go elsewhere. THIS COMPANY IS AWFUL!

Back to say that you're a horrible third party booking site and I will Never book thru you again. And still no offer to comp or make things right. Go ahead and send your generic apology and I'll continue to give other third party my business...which is a lot of hotel and flight bookings as I travel for work.

My personal information was used without my authorization to book a hotel for themselves or a third party. This constitutes fraud and identity misuse. I am actively pursuing this matter with law enforcement. In the meantime, I believe it is important to make others aware to prevent further harm.
