What a scam
What a scam. My business trip changed the dates and they will NOT change my reservation at the hotel. I am out $550.
What a ripoff
They are a complete ripoff. They pretend to be the hotel website, but are actually a 3rd party booking through reputable platforms like Expedia. They overcharge the actual rate when booking, and refuse to refund the difference after you receive your bill from the hotel.
I will be contacting all necessary authorities, news media, and social media about this experience.
They overcharged me over $550.00 for a 5 night beach stay.

SCAM! The lady who I spoke to lied and told me she worked with the hotel I was trying to book at. They charge undisclosed fees and refuse to refund them. I'll be reporting it to VISA to do a chargeback.

The reservation desk third party
The reservation desk third party booking is very deceptive and misleading. It appears that you are doing a reservation booking directly with the hotel only to realize after receiving your confirmation of charges/bill that it was not the hotel. There is a nonrefundable reservation desk fee. I called the number that was on the hotel site, and it leads you to this third party "Reservation Desk". This is the second time it has happened to me, and you do not realize until you receive a confirmation and see the extra charges, they have charged you. They have very poor customer service including their manager. The lady that was booking me in hung up on me because her computer had to do an update. She did call me back but entered all my information wrong. I was booking three rooms and spelled out email addresses for all three and she took it upon herself to make her own up. So, someone (3 different people) received an email confirmation for a hotel room booked for themself. She also gave me two quotes for two different room types, and I told her I will take the cheaper of the two as it is only for one night and one person per room. She entered it as 2 people per room and gave me the more expensive room. She was totally disconnected from the conversation we were having.
I gave it a couple of days then I called them back asking to speak to a manager and they gentleman that I was talking to was very rude and angry that I wanted to speak to the manager and was refusing to pass me through until the fourth time I asked. The manager was being polite and said that they will look into this situation as the conversations are recorded but it will take 5 to 10 days to get back to me. I told him fine, but I appreciate a call back to let me know what their thoughts were of the conversation that had happened. I asked him about the email addresses, and he told me that he will get someone to call back right away and get them changed. 5 days later and I am still waiting for that phone call. I have to use the made-up emails to check in on our reservation and to contact them for receipts. I have contacted them twice through their email contact, leaving them my true email and my phone number and have still not had a reply. This is very rude and unprofessional for a company. These hotel chains need to stop utilizing them as it gives them a bad name. This is a cop out for hotel chains on having to deal with any customer complaints made by customers that utilize this reservation company.

Deceptive and misleading
The reservation desk third party online booking is very deceptive and misleading. It appears that you are doing an online reservation booking directly with the hotel only to realize after receiving your charges/bill that it was not the hotel. I called them to dispute the charges and shared my frustrations and complained about the excessive fees/charges but to no avail. It appears that they are well aware of this issue and unrepenting about it. It is unfortunate for individuals in general and especially seniors that are usually targets for deceptive and misleading practices.
This company lied on the phone
This company lied on the phone that they were the hotel that I was trying to contact and that my rates would be adjusted at check in. They were not. Turns out my reservation went through Priceline and I was overcharged over $100 for what my charge should’ve been!

This company misrepresented itself as being the actual hotel when it fact it wasn’t. When I found out at the hotel due to a problem with the room, they told me to contact the third party company I had booked it through. They did not rectify the problem. Completely scammed with extra “fees” which they refused to tell me what those fees were and added more than $150 on top of the taxes and the room. Did not get the room I paid for and Reservation Desk did not resolve the problem.

I have a problem that it only cost $3.50 to wash you laundry and $3.50 to dry but this hotel holds $10.00 extra out or account for days and no one can tell you why. I asked why does it not does it not go right back when you are done. I stay in hotels for weeks and never has a wash machine held my money and you can’t use cash. I book a reservations. The hotel stated no reservation for me. A man at hotel stated that I need 10 number and reservation desk only had nine number. I spoke with the man three times and still no reservation. They refuse give my money back because they said no show. Now they have 3 different numbers????

Like everyone else, I thought I was booking a reservation directly with the hotel. I am attending a medical conference and I asked to book a room within the conference rate block. The guy pretended to be the hotel and said the block was full and gave me the “best rate”. He never once said that he was a third-party booking agency. This company is a complete scam. He even took my Marriott Bonvoy number as if he was adding it to the reservation.

Isaac should not be working in customer service
Isaac the “manager” was extremely rude and lacked customer service etiquette. It was clear he doesn’t want to work or doesn’t like his job. I asked “which confirmation number do you need, Expedia or the Hotel?” He said, “the number”. Prior to that, when I was transferred to “the manager”Isaac, there was music and then the transfer went through and there was silence for 3 mins, I was saying hello repeatedly before he decided to respond. His tone was snippy the entire time. He doesn’t want to work so he shouldn’t show up.
Reservations Desk, Not! USA
In regards to a recent booking made with a employee of Quality Inn, Farmville, Va..Which infact was not..I found later it to be Reservations Desk platform. The contact information listed, online with the Quality Inn information was in fact "Reservation Desk," which led me to believe I was interacting directly with the hotels reservation desk. However, after completing the booking and payment, I discovered this was not the case, and was a non refundable transaction. I believe the website's presentation created a misleading impression, suggesting a direct affiliation with the hotel, and, in my opinion, attempted fraud by Reservations Desk..I'm in the process of an investigation via my bank, BBB, and the FBI fraud investigations..No refund as of yet..Stay safe, Stay tuned..

Deceptive I thought I was actually dealing with the hotel. Not a third party vendor. When I got to the checking they said my card had been declined. Not true your company received the payment. The room was dirty no towels and was unable to get towels reservation was for three adults and a baby. We had two hand towels. When we asked for more was told they didn't have any. The manager was going to refund part of out expenses but was unable do to the third-party booking. What a shit way to do business. I will definitely not make this mistake again.

I booked a hotel in Houston Tx on June 7 thru the 12th and they over charged me by 400 dollars by the hotel receipt. I tried to contact costumer service and they wouldn’t even talk about giving a refund. So I contacted the home office and they wouldn’t do anything either . I will never use them again and would suggest ever one else to use anybody else. They have no coustomer service and they will overcharge you and there is nothing you can do.

If I could give zero stars I would. They have very questionable business practices. We thought we were booking with the hotel. When we called back to let them know we hadn’t given our membership number, they revealed they weren’t the hotel. We asked for a refund and have an email telling us we were getting the full amount back including the 17.99 booking fee, but they have not refunded the “booking fee” and so far have continued to do so.
Reservation Desk will not refund your money if they book you a wrong room. Nor will they help you in any way.
Hello. I booked with reservation desk from July 28th-August 1. I didn't have a good experience and it didn't go smoothly. I booked a doble queen bed with separate living area and sofa. Upon my arrival the hotel staff communicated that my room was a doble queen bed room no separate area no sofa. I had me and my kids 1 special needs. The staff member asked me to call the booking agent, that it was them that had to do the change. I called them to explain my situation and they told me they don't know why my situation, that it was the room I booked. I said no it isn't i am here and need the room i booked. They than continue to say they needed to investigate with the superior the recording of my original booking call with the agent and get back to me within 6-7 business days. So i ask what should I do in the meanwhile? Please help me I need the room. We are sorry but you need to figure it out because we need to investigate the recording, if you are correct we will refund all or partially. They sent me an email 4 days ago since my stay and said they were sorry to inform me that the agent had described the room and I had confirmed yes. Absolutely not. I was actually expecting them to listen to the call and hear how I made sure to request and confirm the separate living area with sofa. They are a joke. I feel they need agents that take their job seriously, we are counting on them for a stress free stay. Please do not book with them. It was my first time I usually do Expedia and I have never had a problem. But Reservation Desk popped up into my search and I received an actually call from them asking if I needed a room to the location area where I was going too, unfortunately I gave them a try. Please Avoid Reservation desk!
