Shipped broken lens
I ordered a replacement pair of lenses for my Ray-Ban aviators on August 10 and did not receive them until September 1. I did not unboxed them until September 10 and when I put on my sunglasses on September 12 to go watch my daughter play softball there was a crack in one of the lenses. I reached out to customer service and they refused to replace or refund the money for the lens that they shipped that had a crack. They instead moved me from the first level of customer support to the second level of customer support and accused me of dropping or impacting the lenses and blamed the thin glass for the crack instead of their manufacturing and or shipping. The prior pair of Ray Ban lenses lasted almost 4 years and the pair from replacement lenses.net lasted less than one day. I cannot more highly worn anyone to not do business with this company.

We are sorry that this situation has been disappointing, but we would like to clarify some important facts for anyone reading this review.
The title “Shipped broken lens” does not reflect the chronology you provided to our customer service team.
In your correspondence, you explained that you received the package around the end of August/beginning of September, did not open it immediately, installed the lenses yourself on September 10, and only noticed the crack on September 12 when you wore the sunglasses. You also told us that you normally do not keep packaging from items that appear to be fine.
Therefore, there was no report of a broken lens upon delivery, and we have no evidence that the lens was shipped in a cracked condition.
The lenses supplied were genuine Ray-Ban mineral glass lenses. After reviewing the photographs, our technical assessment was that the type of fracture shown was consistent with external mechanical stress, pressure or impact rather than a manufacturing defect. This does not mean that we accused you of intentionally damaging the lens.
Mineral glass offers excellent optical quality, but it is also more fragile than plastic lens materials and can fracture from relatively small mechanical stresses, including during installation or subsequent use.
Because the damage was reported after installation and was not consistent with a manufacturing defect, we could not approve a warranty replacement or refund. Nevertheless, given the short time since purchase, we offered you a substantial discount on a replacement pair as a goodwill solution, which you chose not to accept.
We completely understand your frustration at having a new lens break so soon. However, we also believe it is important that the circumstances described publicly accurately reflect the information provided during the claim.
Our team remains available if you would like us to review any other possible solution.

We would like to clarify that original lenses are shipped in the packaging supplied by the manufacturer. We do not alter or replace the original packaging, as we act as an intermediary and distributor of the product.
If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, the first step is to report the damage to the carrier at the time of delivery, so that the condition of the shipment is officially recorded. This is very important when transport damage needs to be investigated.

Never EVER EVER!!!!! Would i recommend OR use this company again for my lenses!!!!! First off they were taking FOR EVER to come so finally I looked into it and found out they were coming FROM THE NETHERLANDS SMH (nothing against the Netherlands only the compfor making it look as if it were an American company shipping from USA) If i knew they were being made and shipped internationally i would have NEVER used them A. B. THEY SHIPPED INTERNATIONALLY IN A SKIMMPY LITTLE BUBBLE PACK. The other company i was going to use was 100% from usa and shipped usa and THERE lenses come made for your individual frames and are packaged and shipped individually in these little padded zipper hard cases PER LENSE the ONLY and I REPEAT ONLY reason I used this company instead is that they were offering ray ban brand lenses (which doesn't do any good if they take 3 weeks and come damaged NEVER AGAIN DO NOT USE, BUYER BEWARE!!!

When placing your order, you personally selected USPS shipping with an estimated delivery time of 7–20 business days. According to the tracking information, your order was delivered in just 8 business days.
Therefore, the statement that the order took three weeks is not correct. The documented delivery time was 8 business days, well within the estimated timeframe and very close to the minimum delivery estimate provided when the order was placed.
Regarding our location, our company is based in Spain. We have never presented ourselves as a US-based company, and our company details and legal information are publicly available on our website.
We ship orders to customers in the United States every day. International shipping to the USA is a regular part of our business, and we work with established international and local delivery networks, including USPS for final delivery. Our US customers receive the same specialized customer support before and after their purchase.
The fact that a shipment may transit through a European logistics hub, such as the Netherlands, is simply part of the international shipping network and does not mean that the order originated from a Dutch company.
In your case, you purchased original Ray-Ban replacement lenses. For this reason, the lenses were supplied with the corresponding original Ray-Ban packaging. Customers purchasing compatible lenses from other manufacturers receive the packaging corresponding to the brand they have selected.
You also mention in your review that the lenses arrived damaged. However, before this review was posted, we had not received any communication from you informing us of any damage to the lenses.
If an order ever arrives damaged or there is any problem with the product, customers only need to contact us. Our support team reviews the case and provides the appropriate solution. We cannot investigate or resolve a problem that has never been reported to us.
