Remark Ltd Arvostelua

Really engaging sessions with great techniques to break the ice among the group and teaching more about deaf culture. A safe space to get things wrong and to learn best practices.

I had the best experience on my BSL Level One course with Remark. Yatz, our teacher, was fantastic and so encouraging. Remark is a supportive and friendly community and I have already signed up for my Level Two course. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Great experience learning bsl level 1. Our teacher was incredibly helpful and supportive. Great to meet new people and looking forward to returning for level 2.

Fantastic and engaging lessons taught brilliantly by Yatz. Remark! as an organisation is doing amazing work, and I can't wait to start the next level of my BSL learning.

Great teacher, nice learning environment. It was fun and challenging, I really enjoyed the classes. I wanted to learn something new, I met really nice people in my class too.

I have found Remark to be a great place to learn BSL. I have so far completed levels 1 and 2 here and intend to continue on to level 3. The courses are well-designed and the teachers are very supportive. For me it's important that Remark is a Deaf-led organisation and that's why I chose to study there.

I attended a 2-hour taster class at Remark! What an enjoyable way of learning! It was organised very well and the school, teacher, and interpreter, were very welcoming. The teacher, John, taught with humour and it was a fun evening. I learnt a lot. Thank you :)

I have been learning BSL at Remark! since 2023.
It has been one of the best thing I have done.
The staff are really professional and kind. The tutors make sure you learn and understand the signs properly.
They also give all the students an amazing support.
I love Remark!
I am looking forward to starting Level 3 course.

Very interesting and enjoyable, and exceptional presentation and demos by our lecturer John

Tutor and the supporting girl were very good; learned some knowledge about being deaf and how to communicate with them. Free Taster session was fun and influencing. I will definitely improve the finger spelling until I find a free time to follow the course. Thanks to the Tutor and supporting girl.

From booking right up to the day, the Remark service was efficient and caring. I was nervous about having just the right interpreter for our daughter's wedding - the groom's grandma is very fussy about her BSL! Remark delivered. Andy was a delight at the rehearsal, service and reception. He didn't just translate the formal stuff - I saw him chatting to the groom's grandma throughout. He is beaming in every photo he was captured in and made the day extra special for us all.

From booking interpreters, right up to delivery Remark have been amazing. They are so efficient, responsive and a lovely friendly team to work with. The 2 BSL interpreters supplied to work with me on a programme were amazing. Our client wrote to thank them after the event. I can't thank Remark enough!

This BSL Taster Class was brilliant. John, the teacher, was so lovely. He made the class informative so we learned a bit but he also made it quite funny in places which kept our interest going. Personally I find a boring teacher makes me switch off. Definitely NOT the case today. I would highly recommend trying this class as your first stop then follow with a proper course if your interest is piqued. I am!! A big thank you to John and his lovely interpreter.

Laura and Maria were fantastic. Our staff really enjoyed and learned a lot from the Deaf Awareness Session with Intro to BSL. They made the session very interactive and made sure everyone felt included. I would recommend this training to any organisation that wants to make their workplace more deaf friendly.

Excellent teacher who provided so much support and encouragement whilst doing the course. Hoping to do Level 2 with them as well!

Had a great experience learning from this provider, fun lessons and feel like I now have a strong foundation in BSL. Friendly and helpful instructor.

Laura is a fantastic teacher who always made the lessons fun and engaging and was so good at making sure no one was left behind.

It was great learning the basics of British Sign Language at Remark! through the level 1 course.

The team at Remark is lovely and the welcome is warm. Our tutor, Laura, was positive and engaging and very patient with us all! There was plenty of opportunity to practice with the other class members and we learned a lot from each other too. The course prepared us very well for the exams. Thank you Remark and I look forward to starting Level 2.

I've just completed Level 1 and the whole experience from start to finish was brilliant! Our teacher Laura was fantastic, taking the time to clearly explain things in a fun and interesting way. As a class (and team at work) we loved it so much we're about to embark on Level 2! Highly recommend Remark and their friendly, professional staff.
