Finding mothers Birth certificate for Irish passport application.
I needed to Find my mothers birth certificate & other details who was born in Ireland in the early 1940s só that i can apply for Irish citizenship, & she hás been dead for many years & i would never of found out all the required documents needed to do do. Relative Connections done an absolutely fantastic job in finding all this for me. A Big thank you must go to Jess who kept me updated with the ongoing process on a regular basis! Traced my grandad
Relative Connections were upfront about the costs from the beginning. They were very good with communication and keeping me up to date with their findings. I contacted Relative Connections on Thursday 26th September 2024 and thought it would take ages to find my Brother and Nephew.
After writing a contact statement for if they did find him the weekend came and went. I was surprised when on the Tuesday 1st of October 2024 someone phoned me to say that they had spoken to my Brother and that he would be delighted them to pass his phone number to me.
I phoned my Brother the same day and we met up again on the Friday 4th October 2024 after eleven years of not seeing each other!
I cannot believe how quick Relative Connections got onto my case and traced my Brother and Nephew and would recommend them to anyone who is trying to find someone who they have lost contact with!

I had been trying to find my dad (who I…
I had been trying to find my dad (who I had never met) from the age of 18 with no joy (now 52) spoke to relative connections on Monday and then Tuesday morning I had a call from Sue who said they had narrowed the search down to 2 people. I then got a call from Sue who said they had found my dad and that he had a wife called Debbie who had said Ian had a massive heart attack two years ago and had to have a leg amputated and was in a nursing home being tested for dementia and that Debbie would like to speak to me first so that I could find out about the real Ian (my dads name) before I met him. To say I was gobsmacked and overwhelmed was an understatement. I spoke to Debbie on the Monday and I met my dad on the Saturday,. When I saw my dad he said give me a cuddle, I have waited for this moment for over 52 years. I managed to get the perfect outcome thanks to Sue and her search.

They took on my search for a old friend with whom I'd lost contact for decades and on whom I could provide them with only basic information and who I was uncertain if still alive. To my surprise they located him in two days. The outcome turned out to be a disappointment (through no doing of theirs) but Sue in particular handled this sensitively and sensibly, and it was very helpful to take up the offer of a debrief with her. They kept me apprised at every stage by telephone. I am glad I engaged them and was impressed with them.

Compassionate, kind and communicative
I was stunned at how quickly Relative Connections was able to locate my friend, and, from the beginning to the end of the process, everyone was kind and communicative. Sadly, my friend did not want to get back in touch, which was, for me, an extremely sad and painful thing to deal with, but my intermediary support person, Sue (Harrison), was kind and compassionate in relaying the news to me, and made it as easy as possible to hear.
In short, I am very glad, and very grateful, that I found Relative Connections, and would highly recommend their service to anyone looking for long lost friends or relatives.
