Regus - Borehamwood Maxwell Road Arvostelua 

We have been threated with no access to our offices , we have no current invoices outstanding other 1st October BIll due around the 19th or 23rd. Disgraceful tactics use to get payment early. We have been with Regus 3 years and terminating our agreement. The staff at Borehamwood need more training and inexperience.

⭐ 1/5 – Extremely poor experience with Regus Borehamwood

I am extremely disappointed with the way Regus Borehamwood has handled the termination and disputed renewal of our office agreement.

When I received the renewal notification, I selected the option confirming that I did not wish to renew. I subsequently received an email from the Regus Community Manager stating, “we’ve noticed your account has been terminated”, and asking why we had decided to end the agreement and whether anything could be done to change our mind.

Despite this, Regus later treated the agreement as renewed.

We raised the issue, provided the relevant evidence, including their own email acknowledging the termination, and were told that the matter would be investigated.

More than four months later, the issue has still not been properly resolved.

Communication has been extremely poor. Messages are often not responded to, and I have had to repeatedly chase for answers without receiving a satisfactory resolution.

What makes this even more frustrating is that I have never even collected the keys to the Borehamwood office and have not used the office under this disputed renewed agreement. Despite this, Regus has taken payment relating to the office and deposit from 1 October while the renewal was already being disputed.

I find it extremely concerning that payment was taken while this dispute remained unresolved, particularly when I had already provided written evidence showing that I did not wish to renew and had received correspondence from Regus acknowledging that the account had been terminated.

For a large company, I expected a much more professional complaints process and significantly better communication.

I have requested a full refund, cancellation of the disputed renewal, confirmation that no further payments will be taken, and an explanation for why payment was taken while this matter remained under investigation.

Based on my experience with Regus Borehamwood, I would strongly advise anyone considering an office here to keep copies of every email and document, carefully check the renewal and termination process, and closely monitor any payments taken from their account.

UPDATE – 18 September 2026

Following Regus’s public response to this review stating that the Manager of the centre had been asked to investigate this matter “as a priority”, I have now received a further response from the centre.

I was informed that a previous Area Manager had apparently declined my request. However, I have never been provided with a written decision, any reasons explaining why it was declined, or an explanation of how the evidence I submitted was considered.

I was then advised to use Regus’s Aurora AI chatbot to see what the Account Helpdesk says.

After more than four months of trying to resolve this matter, I find it extremely disappointing to be redirected to an AI chatbot for a dispute that Regus has already been investigating.

The fundamental issue remains unchanged: I provided evidence that I selected the option not to renew, and I subsequently received an email from the Community Manager stating, “we’ve noticed your account has been terminated.” Despite this, the agreement was treated as renewed and payment was taken.

I have never collected the keys to the Borehamwood office and have not used the office under this disputed renewal.

I have now requested that Regus provide the previous Area Manager’s decision and reasons in writing and escalate the matter to the current Area Manager or senior management.

I am still awaiting cancellation of the disputed renewal, a full refund of the payments taken in connection with it, confirmation that no further payments will be taken, and a proper written explanation.

I will update this review again when Regus provides a substantive response or resolves the matter.

I’m very disappointed with the management of UK Regus - Borehamwood Maxwell Road. The communal microwave has been broken since early April and as of 20 May it still hasn’t been replaced, forcing dozens of tenants to eat cold lunches for weeks. Even worse, the hot water boiler has been out of service for around six months and they’ve done nothing other than leave a single kettle in the pantry — so everyone has to boil water themselves for 5 minutes each time.

We’ve had multiple tenants and office managers complain, but management simply refuses to fix or replace basic equipment.

Their website advertises a well‑equipped kitchen, yet in practice there is no hot water and no microwave, and the equipment you see when you move in is apparently not guaranteed and can be withdrawn at any time.

The front desk is often unmanned and calls before 11:00 a.m. usually go unanswered, so you’re basically helpless if something goes wrong in the morning. For a global office provider, this level of service is unacceptable.

Clean and pleasant environment to work. Centre staff are always available to help and provide support. Facilities are always in good working order and when they are not, they are quickly fixed.

Avoid this place at all costs. They entice you with low prices and then add all these ridiculous charges. There’s some charges we did not even consent to or ask for services and they added it on. I had to dispute them to have them removed.

When trying to cancel they made the process difficult and then contradict themselves on email. Then trying to hide under the terms and conditions which they themselves have breached and replying with “standard charges”.

If you’re small business looking for office space avoid them and go elsewhere. It’s not worth the headache of dealing with this company.

Helpful staff, simple online booking service

Very straightforward to book and high quality office space.

There's a nice canteen area with good coffee. The Regus team was friendly and helpful in getting the room set up and making sure we had everything we needed. This is a good location with parking onsite.

THINK TWICE !
We took up occupancy during April 2023, On several occasions the accounts have been blundered. Unauthorised direct debit charges reversed by our bankers. Unnecessary LATE charges, example if paying directly debit 19th of each month there's no charges, payment by bank transfer before 19th incurs a £220 Charge.

Facilities are excellent, however extreme bully tactics to obtain any fees other than rent.

Its truly remarkable we paid an invoice by transfer on 15th of the month and received £141 charge.
