I don’t recommend this clinic at alll!! ❌❌The doctor made me look so wide and put lovehandles for me instead of hipdips i look ridiculous!! He left veryy veryy big scars on me and ruined my body. They didnt even take my drains out and sent me back to uk with drains and told me to take the out myself…. The clinic is also very veryy bad they tried to overcharge me for everything, they said i need creams and they took me to their own pharmacy and the lady spoke to them in turkish and asked for her friend to come and give us the cream and they charged us around £80 for only a few creams, once my creams finished i went to pharmacy myself and got the same creams for ALOT cheaper like £15 for all. They knew i wasnt feeling welll and sold me IV drip for £200!!!!!!!! They also tried to get me to get massages from their own clinic which was like £150 per session but i got my massages elsewhere and when i told them they got very angry kept on calling me to cancle my massages and told me if anything happens to me they wont take any responsibilities!! They said DR will check me throughout my time there but he only checked me ONCE and it was the morning after my surgery. The aftercare is awful everything about this clinic is awful now i need to pay again to go elsewhere and get my body fixed. After my surgery Ceren forced me to write a good review for them here i wish i could delete it.

Regina Med Clinic – My experience with liposuction and BBL

I had liposuction and a BBL performed on 14 February 2026 at Regina Med Clinic in Istanbul by Op. Dr. Murat Gürel.

Unfortunately, my personal experience has been very disappointing.

The BBL result is, in my opinion, very poor and did not meet my expectations. I am also unhappy with the appearance of my abdomen. I can see noticeable unevenness and an irregular contour, which to me looks like “waves”. I am a slim person and my abdomen looked different and much better before the surgery.

I decided to have the procedure because I wanted to improve my body shape and feel more confident. Unfortunately, I have experienced the opposite.

I have never felt this uncomfortable about my body before.

I also want to emphasise that I followed the post-operative instructions carefully. I attended regular lymphatic drainage massages, wore my compression garment for longer than required, tried to sit as little as possible and took great care of myself throughout my recovery.

Despite this, I am still very unhappy with the result.

After the surgery, I raised my concerns and sent photos and information explaining what I was unhappy with. I was told that, according to the clinic, everything looked fine.

I personally do not feel that the result is fine.

This is my body, and I am the person who sees and lives with the result every day.

Another thing that has been particularly disappointing for me is the communication with the surgeon.

Op. Dr. Murat Gürel has not personally contacted me to discuss my concerns. I have not had a direct conversation with him about my dissatisfaction, and I was not offered an online consultation where he could see me on camera and discuss the concerns I had raised.

I also asked about the possibility of a correction, but as of today I have not received an answer to that request.

This has been very upsetting because I was hoping to have a proper conversation with the doctor and discuss possible options.

Instead of feeling more confident after the surgery, I have been left with insecurities and a lot of disappointment about my appearance.

The abdominal result is not what I expected, and in my opinion the BBL result is also very poor.

I am sharing my personal experience, my expectations and how I feel about the result I have received. I would also advise people not to assume that every result shown on social media represents an unedited, real-life result. I have concerns about the authenticity of some of the images I have seen, so I would strongly recommend asking for unedited photographs and verifying results independently before making a decision.

If you are considering liposuction or a BBL at Regina Med Clinic, I would recommend asking detailed questions not only about the procedure itself, but also about:

* post-operative care,
* communication with the surgeon after surgery,
* what happens if you are unhappy with the result,
* whether you can speak directly with the surgeon,
* and what options are available if you request a correction.

In my case, despite following the post-operative instructions and raising my concerns, I am still waiting for a response regarding my request for a correction.

I am sharing my experience because, before making my own decision, I would have wanted to hear experiences like this as well.

This is my personal experience and my honest opinion of the result and the aftercare I have received. I hope it helps others make an informed decision and ask the right questions before undergoing surgery.

I had a tummy tuck, bbl and hip dip fat transfer in February 2026 with Dr Murat Gurel.

Although the arrangements were straightforward, there were and are a number of concerns.

Pros:
- easy to arrange, logistics were good
- I asked lots of questions before the procedure (and during) and they were answered with detail and promptly
- information was thorough (but this subsided once I was back in the UK with slower responses)
- the hotel was only a few mins from the clinic
- the lymphatic massages could take place (at an extra cost of course) in the hotel room which was very helpful and Yasin was very good.
- I am happy with how my tummy looks. The scar is already fading at the end. But I do have thick scar tissue underneath the skin that I can feel and wanted to discuss this with the doctor.

Cons

- understand that I was going to turkey and don't speak Turkish so thats not necessarily anyone else's fault, but the nurses couldn't understand me in the hospital after the procedure which caused some difficulties. I was in alot of pain and so it was hard to also Google translate whilst being in discomfort. Good to note this beforehand.
Some of the nurses seemed a little inexperienced and one shoved the IV into my hand with force which caused me to scream which wasn't great given the state I was in. On another occasion they couldn't get the IV machine to stop beeping and this was also a pain since I needed to rest and they were playing about with it and with my hand with the IV in it.
- A few days later I was told I could see the Doctor in the clinic but he didn't turn up and I had to go back to the hotel and come back again when he arrived at the hospital which was difficult because of the state I was in.
- the hotel advertised as having a nurse available 24/7 but on the Sunday she was not at the hotel and I had a couple of concerns and questions but no medically trained professional was available.
- I was promised a follow up via video call on return to the UK with the doctor at 3, 6, 9 and 12 months. It's now been almost 7 months and I've only had one video call with him which was early on, and have repeatedly been asking for more follow ups. I get told it will be arranged but then it doesn't - despite my following up. I think this is totally unacceptable when someone has had such a major surgery and there are naturally questions posts surgery and concerns. I have some important questions that have been left unanswered.
- the shape of my hips - I am unhappy with. I do understand that everyone's bodies retain fat differently but again I would like to discuss this with a doctor yet nobody is getting back to me or arranging a follow-up.

If you are thinking of having this procedure done please also note that you will have to get up every hour after the surgery to walk around to ensure blood flow and to ensure you don't get blood clots. I have to praise the staff for encouraging this as it promotes safety and well-being of the individual, but it is difficult to do when you've just had a tummy tuck so wanted to mention it so that you know what to expect.

All in all the experience was okay, but it is imperative that the "cons" I have stated are looked into.

1. Kaş altına dolgu yüzeysel ve tamamen asimetrik şekilde enjekte edildi. Uzmanların anatomi bilgisi sıfır.
2. Bana 2 ml’lik fatura kesildi!!!! Oysa bu işlem için bu miktar fazlasıyla yüksek ve eminim ki bu ürünlerin tamamı kullanılmadı. Satıcı 3 ml’lik fatura çıkarmaya çalıştı. Resmen para sömürüsü.
3. Uzman işlemi 15 saniyede yapıp hemen kaçıyor, siz ne olduğunu anlamadan. Reklamlarda gördüğümle benim sonucumun hiçbir ortak yanı yok. Dikkatli olun, bu rezil yöntemle kadınların saflığından para kazanılıyor.

My experience with Regina Med Clinic was absolutely fantastic I was so anxious and they went above and beyond for me - even after my op…they checked in everyday all relevant tests done I couldn’t ask for a company more caring from start to finish - any further work I’ll be returning to them!

I traveled alone to have a 360 liposuction BBL and was a little scared at first, but I felt supported the entire time. A special thank you to Furkan for assisting me throughout the process and communicating in my language, which was very reassuring. He was always there for me at the hospital and the hotel.

Thank you as well to doctor Murat who was very attentive and did an excellent job. I truly recommend this professional and caring team.

Soy Argentina, vivo en Italia. Después de tener dos embarazos, buscaba un cambio físico, buscando en Instagram encontré a Regina. Furkan fue mi primer contacto, me dio toda la información sobre el procedimiento "Mommy Makeover", y me sentí muy segura con él y es quien te brindó toda la información sobre el procedimiento "Mommy Makeover", que incluía lifting de senos, lipoabdominoplastia y lipotransferencia a glúteos. El precio es INMEJORABLE! Porque lo compare con muchísimos. Acordamos una pequeña seña y compramos los pasajes. Al llegar Estambul me recibieron en el aeropuerto con transporte incluido a un hotel de cuatro estrellas cercano a la clínica. Este hotel es hermoso ! con un servicio excelente, habitación grande, e incluso personal de enfermería. Al día siguiente, Furkan y una traductora, llamada Damla, (a quien adoré! Porque es muy empática y amable) Nos acompañaron a la clínica para los estudios prequirúrgicos y la entrevista con el cirujano, el Dr. Murat Gurel, que fue muy paciente y atento. Yo estaba asustada y el me tranquiliza, contestó todas mis inquietudes y me explico lo que haríamos. , de allí me realizaron los prequirúrgicos. A pesar de un inconveniente con el pago , mi tarjeta no funcionaba, el centro nos ayudó en todo momento, la cirugía duró 7 horas, y desperté en la habitación para comenzar el postoperatorio. Fue un proceso bastante doloroso en mi caso, pero la enfermera Sultan me asistió y acompañó, me explicaba que era parte normal del proceso y me controloban a cada rato. Luego, continué la recuperación en el hotel, donde recibí visitas de enfermeras del hotel y de la clínica. mi marido, cómo mi acompañante no tuvo que pagar absolutamente nada, tuvo todo cubierto, al igual que la medicación, las fajas y las medias.
La experiencia fue muy positiva y ahora, de vuelta en Italia, sigo en contacto con Furkan y el cirujano, quienes me asisten en lo que necesito. Recomiendo fervientemente a la clínica Regina, a Furkan y al cirujano, así como a todo el personal de salud, a la traductora y a la gente del hotel, que en todo momento estuvieron a disposición para mí . Dr. Murat Gürel is incredibly skilled and meticulous. I felt completely safe and confident throughout my journey. Furkan Bey, my health consultant, was always available to answer my questions, guide me, and reassure me whenever I needed it. His support made a huge difference.

I recently had a breast lift and arm lift in Turkey, and I can honestly say this has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. From the moment I connected with my patient coordinator Atakan, I felt supported, safe, and completely taken care of.

Atakan is truly amazing. He was there for me every step of the way, organising airport transfers, clinic appointments, hotel stays, and offering constant support before and after surgery. I traveled alone, and not once did I feel overwhelmed or unsure. His calm, reassuring manner made the entire journey feel seamless.

My procedures were performed by Op. Dr. Murat Gurel, and I can’t speak highly enough of him. He is a true artist. My results are beyond what I imagine, natural, precise, and beautifully done. Dr. Gurel is not only technically gifted but also took the time to understand my goals and concerns. I felt listened to and genuinely cared for.

The clinic staff and nurses were equally good gentle, attentive, and professional. There was a bit of a language barrier at times, but their kindness and care came through clearly. A tip for anyone traveling solo: download Google Translate, it really helps with quick communication.

💡 TIPS if you’re traveling solo like I did:
• Google Translate: Super helpful for communicating with nurses
• Long phone charging cable: You’ll need it while resting post-op
• Drinking straw or spout bottle: Makes staying hydrated easier when mobility is limited
• Protein shakes or snacks: The first two days are tough-easy nutrition helps a lot

My doctor, Dr Murat Gurel is the best, he is so professional and passionate about his work.
