Hi Matt,

We understand how you'd be frustrated based on what you've shared. While all Regain members are paying for access to a membership (which includes the option of having weekly live sessions), we don't charge on a per-session basis. That said, we can provide extensions to a member's billing cycle if they're having trouble getting a desired weekly session booked. We can also extend the billing cycle for any concerns or issues with live sessions.

Hi Nick,

We're sorry for any confusion surrounding Regain membership billing. The upfront payment covers 4 weeks of access to the entire suite of features, which includes the option of a weekly live session. That being said, it sounds like the therapist you were matched with didn't have availability until a few weeks later. We can certainly understand the frustration with this!

It also sounds like the scheduled renewal payment (automatically occuring 4 weeks after your initial payment) had 'failed' which prevented you from having that live session.

Our Member Success team should be able to help with a refund for the initial payment, and can walk you through the process of getting your first session afterwards. We can also alert our Clincial Operations team about your experience, and work with you to find a new therapist with better avaialbility, if you'd be open to that.

We're sorry that you haven't been receiving our emails! We've replied to each of your emails, but perhaps they're ending up in your SPAM or JUNK folders. We've provided extensions to help allow you more to make up for some of those potential live sessions you were looking to have with your therapist.

We would advise doing a search in your inbox for the subject line "I need help" and make sure that search includes your SPAM folder so you can find our messages and send us a response so we can continue to assist, as still needed.

All therapists are thoroughly vetted prior to being onboarded, and must be in good standing with their respective licensing/credentialing board. While the membership access includes many more features beyond the optional weekly live sessions, we do understand that these sessions are a key part of the healing journey. Whenever a therapist plans on having limited live session availability, they are instructed to inform their clients to reach out to our support team so we can provide an extension to the membership accordingly.

We can definitely understand your frustration, Nicole, as your membership allows you the option of having a weekly live session! If a therapist doesn't have availability for any given week you are looking to have a session, please reach out to our Member Success team (you can use the "Contact us" option from the "Help" tab or the "More" tab). We can help provide an extension to make up for any lost time. We can also help work with you to find a different therapist match, and even involve our Clinical Operations team if there's a concern over the clinical quality of the services the therapist is providing.

We try to make it clear on the billing page that you're agreeing to ongoing membership renewals every 7 days until you cancel (which can be done with a few clicks from your Payment Settings page). We're so sorry to hear about the issues booking regular sessions, as well as for any concern surrounding the membership billing process! We bill for overall access to the service, which includes the option of a weekly live session among access to all other features all for one flat rate.
