Probably the best recruitment agency that I have worked with. Connor was helping me in finding a new role and made the whole thing so much less stressful. I can’t recommend him enough, he keeps you up to date throughout the whole process and goes out of his way to make sure that it’s the right thing for you.

Horrible experience with Nancy, left my previous job for a role she offered to me. Holiday dates were sent to Nancy via email prior to even starting the role. After coming back from my leave, i received a call from Nancy, asking where i was as I had been marked as AWOL. You can imagine my confusion when having to re explain what was communicated months prior. She apologised and said she will call back. She then did and said the company will offer me another week, the cheek. I had also communicated to nancy i will return the equipment on a set date to then which she said any further communication go to my managers….from a company i had just been fired from…. She then proceeded to harass me and call me 4 times the next day and send me messages on several numbers when the equipment was already dropped as the time i had communicated to her. She said she would put me forward for another job, then ceased all contact. After not receiving all my pay today i asked her to put me in contact with someone who can help. She proceeded to call me and be extremely hostile, when i am trying to explain the discrepancy with my pay. Constant interrupting and speaking over me when asking for a manager she said she doesnt have one as they are on leave… to which i had to ask again to be put in contact with a manager. Terrible experience all around

Since graduating earlier in the year, I have had numerous calls and emails with recruiters from almost every consultancy in the food manufacturing industry. All were very similar in their approach in that they lacked personality and basic listening skills. Reed was different and Dominic Watts in particular was great. He was friendly but not fake with it, encouraging but not pushy, and even when he went on holiday mid-way through an interview process, he handed over to Adam to make sure my experience was seamless. Since returning from holiday, Dominic has also checked in with me to make sure I was all set to get started after accepting the job offer. Dominic made the whole experience in securing my first job post-university so positive and he’ll definitley be my first port of call should I ever be looking for another job in the future.

My experience with Reed Staffing, particularly with recruitment for social work and manager was very disappointing. Communication was often poor, and I frequently felt dismissed when raising health and safety issues and payment issues .Despite having provided my references upfront, the recruitment consultant withheld them, which felt like a tactic to keep me dependent on the agency. As a social worker, I had serious concerns about the handling of contracts and health and safety matters, which were not addressed to my satisfaction. Requests to sign confidentiality agreements made me hesitant to raise important work-related concerns .Additionally, pay and timesheet inconsistencies added to my frustration. There was also issues with transparency about employment status .Overall, I believe Reed could greatly improve how they support and communicate with workers, transparency around contracts and pay .
I feel I was put in very dangerous professional situations as well as my own health and safety compromised .

So my story is contacted Reed in Jan25 about work as I’d been made redundant. Was told someone would get back to me, zero response, contact again, zero response. Since Jan I get odd emails about a role, I email back to say I’m interested, then hear nothing. I was emailed today and my response was basically, the above. How do people rate them so highly. Other colleagues in my boat say exactly them same thing about Reed. Hence why I’m confused at their high rating as they’ve done nothing for me. Why email, offer a possible role then vanish quicker than Lord Lucan.

Without Lara's pre-interview prep talk and her overall and outstanding positivety, I wouldn't have gotten to where I am now. If only more employment agencies delivered the same service Lara does there would be more confidence and overall ease within the industry. Genuinely, a fantastic asset to you company!

Aurum care seem to be scam, waste your time, compel you to pay for trainings before they can employ you, then leave you hanging out to dry without job or even response from team
