Reeds are a great company. I had Connor Stainthorpe helping me by finding me interviews and supporting me with prepping for them. The advice and support was outstanding. Got my dream job and I thank him very much.

My experience with Reed has been positive. Their communication is clear, timely, and proactive, which has made coordination significantly easier. They have also demonstrated strong reliability by covering challenging shifts at very short notice, ensuring service cover and delivery. Overall, their support has been both professional and dependable.

I had a very bad experience working as a support worker with Reeds. I was victimized by three staff at Reed. Requested SAR and they have refused to send this and it is past 20 working days. Avoid!!!!!

Compared to other agencies who clearly are ticking boxes, rather than wanting to find you the right role and the right company for you to succeed.

Amy has been great, regular updates, prepared you for the interviews and to make you feel confident.

She has been (and the team around her if she was unavailable on another call or meeting) just what I needed.

I believe that Reed have an underlying agenda, when recruiting staff.
They request all of your identity documents. Once in receipt of a passport, driving licence, and many other documents, in which to verify who you are.
They then explain, that these documents are not good enough and request that you follow their IDVT verification process, in informing you that a biometric profile is a mandatory requirement.
This is not a mandatory requirement, where your passport should be quite sufficient.
They will not offer you employment, until you have undertaken this process.
If they had been transparent from the onset, I would have not let them have my documents, which they have declined to return upon request.
What you are not told, is that all of your details in turn are sent to company house and the home office, in preparation for digital ID. Where they receive an enhancement for supplying your details, which directly contravenes the Data Protection Act, where your documentation should be treated as confidential.
Not content, in which to process you like a tin of marrowfat peas, they continue to harass you, on an almost daily basis, in which to have this IDVT done.
It is all one way, where you are quite simply a cash cow.
Avoid this company,as they are under government control, where they are the spider and you become the fly!

Consultant was keen and the role was a very close match in terms of skills, experience etc. He called me back and said "you've only put 12 years experience on your CV ... is that because you're told to keep it to the last 10 years ? ... The company have also asked for the date you obtained your degree ." I asked why that was relevant and was told it's "a bit unusual". Sounds very much like they wanted someone younger than me even though age would not be a significant factor that would affect ability to do the job. "Consultant" was sheepish. I provided the date and he forwarded this (or at least said he would). Thereafter ... ghosted. Very surprised that a company of this size behaves this way and I can't help thinking if my degree date was 20 years later this would have led to an interview.My CV was on reed.co.uk and the consultant was from Reed.
