Yrityksen kirjoittama
Recon Engines Ltd is a dedicated automotive engineering company specialising in engine rebuilds, DPF cleaning, and vehicle servicing. We work with both private vehicle owners and trade customers, providing reliable, high-quality solutions designed to keep vehicles performing at their best. Our core service is engine rebuilding and reconditioning. We take a thorough and methodical approach, carefully stripping down, inspecting, and restoring engines using quality components and proven techniques. Whether your engine has failed, is suffering from wear and tear, or has performance issues, we aim to deliver a repair that is both dependable and long-lasting. We also offer professional Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) cleaning. A blocked or inefficient DPF can lead to reduced performance, higher fuel consumption, and costly replacements if left untreated. Our cleaning process is designed to restore proper function, improve efficiency, and help extend the life of your vehicle. In addition to this, Recon Engines Ltd provides general servicing and maintenance to help prevent problems before they arise. From routine checks to more in-depth work, every job is carried out with attention to detail and a focus on quality workmanship. We pride ourselves on being honest, straightforward, and transparent with our customers. We understand that vehicle repairs can be stressful, so we aim to provide clear communication, fair pricing, and a service you can trust from start to finish. Much of our work comes from repeat customers and recommendations, which reflects the standards we work to every day. At Recon Engines Ltd, our goal is simple: to deliver reliable engine solutions and professional service that customers can depend on.

I paid the deposit to have my vehicle…
I paid the deposit to have my vehicle collected and towed to site, on the day of collection I received an email stating one of there drivers had an issue with there vehicle. They then offered to find an alternative driver but I declined as I didn’t feel comfortable with how they managed my situation. After numerous attempts to contact them it’s seems impossible to get through to anybody who actually knows what they are talking about. I understand they have no refund policy but if they have not laid a hand on the vehicle I don’t see how I’m liable and won’t

We’re sorry to hear about your experience and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
At the time of booking, all customers are clearly informed that recovery payments are non-refundable, as they secure driver allocation and scheduling. In this case, although an unexpected issue arose with the originally assigned driver, we promptly offered to arrange an alternative to ensure your vehicle could still be collected as planned.
We understand you chose to cancel at that stage; however, as per the agreed terms, the booking had already been confirmed and resources allocated, which is why the deposit remains non-refundable.
That said, we take your concerns about communication seriously and will review this internally to improve our service.
