Rawlings Opticians & Hearing Care Arvostelua

Recently attended a hearing test, chose Rawlings as they had been excellent for my eye test and glasses earlier in the year. Thorough ear test and free. Service was very quick and staff very obliging. Audiologist (Ryan) excellent.

A brilliant local optician with exceptional service and a great range of frames. Staff are always so patient, kind, and helpful and the overall care we receive is consistently excellent. A trustworthy, family-friendly optician offering cutting-edge eye-care and screening, highly recommend!

Friendly and efficient staff. Hearing check up went well.

My most recent visit to Rawlings in Winchester was very helpful. I've always found everyone at the branch to be welcoming and friendly. This visit was no exception. Thank you. Especially for fitting me in with little notice.

It was very good except that the poor optometrist had just been off with an injury for 3 weeks and was denied entry to their computer for doing a field of vision test, she thought because the password had been updated. She could not find anyone to tell her the correct password so, having struggled in through one heatwave I have a return visit probably in another!

The staff at Alresford are always really friendly and helpful. My optician Meti (Mohammed) was really lovely and explained the results of the scan, and what it showed on the screen. He was a breath of fresh air. I didn’t need different lenses so I was not helped by Phil this time, but he is also really friendly and always remembers me each year!

Highly professional and friendly service at a fantastic local business. Highly recommended.

Highly professional, knowledgable and customer-centric staff. Good range of frames and lots of support finding ones that suit you.

Very efficient service. All tests fully explained and well executed. My needs understood and taken care of. AM. 18.06.2026

I decided to join the Hearing Care Plan as I need to have regular Microsuction Treatment. I was really impressed on my first visit with Jessica who, having a degree in Audiology, showed a greater understanding of hearing issues than the technicians who have treated me in the past. As part of the plan Jessica offered an enhanced hearing test on my last visit. This revealed that I may have a problem with my middle or inner ear. I have now been rereferred for an MRI scan. So glad I went to Rawlings and a huge thank you to Jessica for her time and trouble.

Very good experience at Rawlings. All nembers of the team were friendly and helpful. Didn't feel rushed and I felt I had a thorough eye examination and was listened to. Eye problem that I had has settled with appropriate treatment and the care and advice from Katie the Optician was excellent.
When choosing new frames, didn't feel rushed and had good advice and help selecting these.

I’ve been going to Rawlings Winchester for 20+ years. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and extremely professional. The care I’ve received during appointments has been second to none, whether for contact lens or spectacles. Rawlings don’t have the ‘two for one’ sales etc that other ophthalmologists do, but I’d rather have their professionalism and attention to detail.

Always polite and very thoroug
Would fully recommend Rawlings.

Efficient, courteous and high standards of care as always. Very pleased to discover the existence of En Route special anti-glare night driving lenses - looking forward to getting a pair.

I was greeted warmly and given all the support I needed during the eye assessment appointment.
The subsequent lens fitting appointment was quickly arranged and the work was done quickly and efficiently.

Very professional friendly triage referred from the Alresford Branch, an email follow up to the Eye clinic in Southampton

I love the fact that Rawlings is an independent business. The staff are always thoroughly professional, attentive, helpful and friendly. I am given a thorough, useful and easy to understand explanation of all tests and results. The choice of glasses frames is exceptional and the ordering and fitting service smooth and easy.

On time. Personal and well explained. Good reminder system.

I had developed an eye irritation and contacted my local branch who referred me on to the branch in Alton as they had an appointment slot the next day. I saw Helen who was very knowledgeable, she examined my eye and gave me advice to solve the issue. 3 days later irritation was no longer! I highly recommend this branch.

An other excellent visit. Debbie was very clear and explained each process as she went through, a reassuring clinical experience
