Rawlings Opticians & Hearing Care Arvostelua

We have been customers for many years and the opticians and dispensers are always very knowledgeable and attentive

The audiologist was careful and thorough and explained things clearly, listened to my difficulties and gave helpful advice and made useful improvements to my aids.

This is about today's experience. Which is very disappointing since I have been a loyal customer for many years. I purchased a pair of prescription glasses, and decided I would also purchse 3 pairs of 'off the rack' reading glasses, after being worn twice, one of the pairs of off the rack reading glasses broke, the frame slpit around the left lens. I duly returned this pair expecting a refund for these not fit for purpose spectacles. Instead I received an accusatory tone and refusal for the refund. Giving me a replacement pair of the same clearly poor quality product. No signs indicate no refund policy, no verbal communication upon purchase of this policy. All for a £20 refund, Rawlings have lost a loyal customer. Deeply upsetting.

As usual Mr. Barker was very thorough and explained everything most lucidly

Very professional from receptionist to specialist. Pleasure to be seen as an individual not as a money pit.

I have a very strong prescription for my specs which makes the role of the dispensing optician crucial in optimising my vision. It's challenging to get the angles and the fit and the style just right. I saw Bridget (dispensing optician) first on the 31st March. She then took time looking in to the issues that I have and saw me again, after researching my history (going back over several years of notes) on 14th April. I now have reading glasses that are a big improvement on my last pair. I'm looking forward to Bridget being able to help with my distance glasses by taking a similar approach. Nothing was too much trouble for her and all done with a smile! Thank you. JL

The team at Alton are very helpful especially as I’m more disabled than on previous visits, everything was arranged, very quickly, by the supplier & by Alton’s Team. John Horner

It was the first time I used Rawlings in Caterham and found the staff very friendly, informative and listened to what I had to say.
I went there for ear wax removal and would recommend the service there.

I made an emergency eye appointment and the process was very smooth and prompt. David examined my eye and referred me to the hospital straight away, and I received a hospital appointment on the same day. They were very professional and provided excellent customer service. I strongly recommend them.

Fantastic service! Welcoming and friendly service entering the store. My optometrist, Helen, was incredibly thorough and informative, taking care to make sure I understood everything. I then had excellent help from Ursula to choose the right glasses frames to suit me. Great range of different styles and brands to choose from. Very happy I booked my eye test here!

I had cataract surgery and a post-op six-week eye check up. Priscilla Cunningham, the optician who conducted the post-op check up was very professional, thorough, patient and very focussed and dedicated to the quality of her services and role.
I was very impressed as it’s been a very long time that I have had such a great and professional service.
I have already recommended Priscilla Cunningham at Rawlings ‘Purley’ branch.

I had my appointment on thursday 23rd April J Phillips saw a wonderful young lady Emma who gave excellant eye test. She was very knowledgeable and I had a thorough eye test. Totally recommend. Customer service was exceptional. Thank you,

Anjali was excellent she explained everything and also explained indepth the different level of lenses and advised us accordingly.

I would definitely recommend the Caterham branch as all the staff were excellent and I would also recommend my friend and family to go there.

The audiologist was very reassuring and explained every stage and gave some great advice.

Excellent eye check up last week with Simon so thorough excellent equipment - Simon is friendly informative and experienced - definitely to be recommended

I have been going to Rawlings Opticians, Chandlers Ford for many years. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Lindsey, the Optician was very thorough and listened to my concerns.I am very pleased with my new spectacles.

I have been using Rawlings Opticians for a couple of years (both a glasses and contact lenses wearer) and really recommend their friendly and helpful services. A thorough sight test and eye health check. I always leave with peace of mind that my eye care is taken care of.

Magen, optician and other staffs were profession and nice to help me check the vision. I really appreciated their immediately help.

I had an appointment because one of my hearing aids had developed a fault.
I expected that my aid would need to be sent off for repair.
To my suprise and relief it was repaired in store and the bonus was that the repair fell within my warranty.
All the staff within the store are really professional.
Thank you team Rawlings.

I have been going to Rawlings in Winchester for many years for eye care and glasses. The customer service and customer care is second to none. I do find prices perhaps to be higher than other outlets, but worth the extra for the professional service I receive at each appointment. I am looking forward to receiving my new sunglasses which will certainly help issues that I have with bright sunlight and the glare that sometimes reflects off a hot road surface. I would confidently recommend Rawlings to others.
