I wrote around 4 pitches that were highly relevant, specifically requests for products for Valentines' day. Then I decided to pay for a year. Tried to do another relevant pitch on the same day and discovered that my account is blocked due to "negative feedback". What feedback? All I did was send descriptions with links to relevant products, as was requested. No explanation what I did wrong, just a letter with a refund and recommendation to turn to free resources. Thanks, I will. How are we supposed to know what we did wrong or how we abused the system? On the plus side, they are not money grabbers considering the refund, which I am supposedly getting soon. But overall, it was a very bad experience. I was ONLY replying to relevant requests. I am no spammer. If you guys have such high standards for pitchers in your elite club, you should live up to these standards by at the very least explaining what they are.

I've just been trying to sign up to Qwoted to see if it's a good fit for my clients and I've been denied with no explanation at all, no response from the customer service team on the chat and have been ignored on email for over a week. Don't really understand to be honest.

Bit difficult to connect your journalists with vetted sources if you don’t bother vetting them

This is a great tool to supplement HARO and cold pitches. Great journalists and publications.

I used Qwoted for years through a PR agency and decided to sign up again today (10/16/25). To my surprise, I immediately received an automated response saying my account was terminated due to "negative feedback" and that I wasn’t a good fit for the platform even though I haven’t used Qwoted in over two years. Extremely disappointing experience for a longtime user trying to reengage.

The platform has a very large number of posts from journalists and publications seeking quotes from experts and it is quite easy to use. I am on the free plan and so can't speak to the paid experience, but what I see is impressive.

I just signed up for Qwoted, and so far, I’m impressed! The platform is easy to navigate, and I love how quickly I can connect with journalists looking for experts. I’ve only been on for a short time, so I’m still figuring out the best way to use it, but the opportunities seem relevant.

That said, some of the matches haven’t been super specific to my niche, and a few features are behind a paywall. Still, I think it’s worth giving it a shot if you're looking for media exposure!

Not a good experience with this company. I signed and paid, but couldn't do anything. I sent emails to their support - Maegan Hinolan sent me one message.. and then that was it. She ignored all other emails from me. So they took my money, no refund, no access, no email back to explain what happened. Luckily I paid by credit card, so have to put in a claim. I can see from other reviews that this happened to others.

Not a good company to deal with.

Basically they disabled my account 2 days after i bought the premium subscription. I messaged support multiple times over 2 days, as i had already put in a lot of work to write up responses. I hired a contractor to help me find pitches and spent money on that too. Only to not be able to quote someone after spening 30min writing a pitch, then being locked out of my account. I sent them a refund request and they refunded my account with no explanation of what happened and the inconvinence caused.

Qwoted is an excellent source for press leads. The press needs experts, and we need them! Qwoted makes it easy to reach the right people quickly. The service offers a number of ways to get leads and makes them easy to answer. I've had a lot of press coverage that would not have otherwise happened without Qwoted.

Dear Qwoted Management,

I just experienced somewhat shocking and very unplesant situation with your customer support.

First, after pitching for the very first post, the account was temporarily blocked due to "generic email" indicated during registration.

After that the support requested for information that was already added to the profile and could be reviewed by them, such as LinkedIn and credentials. After asking the support to review them, after just a few seconds I was informed that my account was permanently suspended!

Moreover, the reasoning was that my expertise was not fit for Qwoted!
If support reviewed my LinkedIn profile, thay would have seen that I hold a professional degrees and is a full member of several leading institutions in the field of my specialization.
I have special designations even in the LinkedIn name.
But the speed with which I received a response and a block (after just a few seconds) demonstrates that the support has never reviewed my profile!

I requested contacts of the management to accelerate this request, however, never received a response again.

Below I provide the full correspondence as a proof of the low professionalism of the support. I am really sorry for this situation.

Qwoted has been a critical piece of connecting with journalists and lend my expertise

I have been a long time user on Qwoted pretty much from the beginning. I received an account when I was writing for a website if memory serves me correctly. I have found it interesting and as a source, if you can make a valid point, you may likely be contacted by the journalist to provide further info or one day simply find that they have used your name. I do enjoy it and a small wish would be if you claim a pitch, you should be able to unclaim it. Apart from that, I am happy and do have a high rating on the platform/

Qwoted has been amazing resource, it has not only helped me connect with reputable journalists, but also helped me build relationships and identify trends.

My only small complaint is that occasionally bad actors sneak in with unmarked "paid opportunities" . I feel such listings should have a separate section.

With that said, if you are an expert source or a journalist you MUST use Qwoted!

I've had an excellent experience in reaching reputable reporters and news sources as a media commentator. Therefore, I highly recommend Qwoted as a valuable resource for reaching reporters on the latest news stories.
