QBE doesn’t care about injured people — not even 1%. I explained my medical condition, the pain, and mental suffering I’m going through, but their claim advisor laughed and treated it like a joke. That’s not just unprofessional — it’s discrimination.

They constantly act outside the law, making decisions with no legal basis. Their advisors don’t even know the legislation they’re supposed to follow — they just push delays, deny valid claims, and sell their services like a business, not a support system for injured people
When it’s time to actually help, they do nothing but excuses and systemic failure. Shameful conduct. I have records of everything and will escalate this until justice is done.

Shocking. After 40 years with them they refused to pay anything towards a neighbors tree fell on our property despite property being damaged. Cost to us $30k and climbing. So price checked them and feel stupid for not doing that earlier. With another prominent insurer we are paying a third of QBE's quote.

I have been trying to get a call back from them since January 2025 - cannot get through on the phone.
Never answer the phone and claims handler has not replied to an emails since January 2025
They owe me €9500 and cannot get talking to anyone

suite a une garantie décennale, pour des malfaçons réalisées par un artisans assuré chez QBE, dossier ouvert en octobre 2024, relance téléphonique, relance par mail, numéro de dossier fourni, aucune réponse de QBE, alors avant d'effectuer des travaux par un artisan demandez lui bien où il est assuré, et si c'est QBE, fuyez. des incompétents. je mets 1 étoile mais si j'avais pu mettre zéro je l'aurais fait.

appel en novembre pour un degat des eaux, aucune reponse , rappelle en mars pour signaler que le plafond a fini par s'effondrer, toujours aucune reponse, courrier avec accuse de reception envoyé, aucune réponse, mail de relance envoyé, aucune réponse...j'ai mis une étoile car on ne peut pas en mettre zéro!!!

C’est une catastrophe cette assurance. Dans le cadre d’une décennale, je suis dans une situation où personne ne répond à mes relances téléphoniques ni mes écrits. Cette situation me génère une grande frustration et à ce jour j’ai aucun retour à ma demande. J’ai le droit à l’information et c’est le minimum des choses mais avec qbe il y’a personne pour nous apporter des réponses

I had to deal with them due to injury at work. They rejected my claim only because ED Doctor put the wrong date and they tried to claim my injury wasn’t bad that I would be able to do stuff. Well they’re right I had an elbow fracture not at end of life stage. TBH I didn’t even know I hurt myself but I was ordered to take time off work. If I knew that I wouldn’t have gone to ED in the 1st place. I tried to put the claim through again because I did not have enough leave to cover and I had to go LWOP. It affected me mentally as I have 3 independent children and mortgage. I only needed a month off. After rejecting my claim they even congratulated me for final pre-injury duties sign off that I had to pretend I was ok to work because I could not afford anymore time off. Since they rejected my claim I cancelled every insurance I had with QBE and I will make sure I never use them in the future 👎🏼

I got my homeowners policy through Dr Horton and they have been great and affordable

Title: Treated Like I Don’t Matter – Left Without a Car, a Job, or Answers

I’ve never felt so abandoned by a company in my life.

I was hit in an accident that was clearly not my fault, and QBE confirmed they accepted liability. You’d think that would be the start of a smooth process — instead, it’s been a nightmare.

I rely on my car for work as a private hire driver. Without it, I have no income. My car was declared undrivable after the accident. I was told I’d get a replacement vehicle, but the one they finally gave me (after over a week of silence) was taken away less than 24 hours later — with no explanation!

Since then, I’ve been stuck at home, jobless, without answers, and without income. I have a 7-week-old baby and a wife who’s not working. I’m the only provider, and QBE’s negligence has made an already stressful time feel unbearable.

I’ve called Enterprise, FMG, and Proximo repeatedly. No one knows what’s going on. Everyone passes the blame. I feel like just another number — not a person with a family, a job, and a life on hold.

It’s disgraceful how little they seem to care once they admit fault. No updates, no car, no help.

Avoid this company at all costs. And especially avoid FMG, who are handling this claim in the name of QBE. Their communication is terrible, and they’ve done nothing to support me or fix the chaos.

I’ve now filed an official complaint and will escalate to the Financial Ombudsman. I’ve lost all faith in QBE and their partners.

I call them three times. Twice I held on for 15 minutes and finally spoke to someone about cancel my insurance and twice I lost connection, they hung up on me. The other time I waited for a call back and it never happened.
I will not use them again and just disgusting customer service.

It’s been a month since our no fault car accident. They moved our car to three different repairers searching for the cheapest quote. It would have cost more in towing than the first quote. It’s been a month and it will be another before our car is estimated to be repaired. We have been juggling cars because we are down one and no offer of a hire car. We insurer 4 cars with them. When it’s time to renew they will have lost us. NEVER AGAIN.

QBE is the insurer for the third party in my accident that happened in December. I'm so interested to see so many negative reviews for this company. But they are all CORRECT. They were 100% liable for the accident - CCTV, witnesses, rear view camera on the truck that reversed into me, footage seen by Mick George's transport manager who employed the driver (he said I was lucky I wasn't killed) but still they won't pay for the rental car I had during my claim which Admiral, my insurance company sent me to and Auxillis the rental car company are having to pursue them through the courts for the money. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.

This company is awful, took 2 years to settle a motor accident claim. No way of contacting them other than email and the response time is the worst I've ever dealt with.

The worst experience of my life is having to deal with QBE and their incompetent case workers who actively slow/ignore and systematicly interrupt much needed treatment options, appointments and procedures. My GP, physio, and other health professionals can not believe how bad QBE are. (previous to dealing with QBE I had zero mental health issues)
I ended up in a series of mental health hospitals, directly caused by the stress and negligence of QBE.

I have been with QBE for over 30 years. In the last 2 years my premium has increased by approx $2000 with no explanation. I put a complaint to QBE with no explanation. I then put a complaint with AFCA. The response from QBE was what I had expected(No explanation but Gobblygook) I do not recommend QBE and I have left the company. I suggest that this company is shonky and is money grabbing.

FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING SLIGHTLY RISKY WORK OR RIDING A MOTORBIKE. YOU WILL BE UNFAIRLY TREATED BY THE LEGISLATION THAT THE GOVERNMENT HAS CREATED. EVERYTHING IS DESIGNED AGAINST YOU SIGNIFICANTLY.

QBE are the insurers of Vergo pest management. Following vergo finally accepting liability for poisoning our pet cavapoo, QBE paid out less than half of the vet costs. They refuse to pay back a trust fund of approximately £7000 that could be used to help save other dogs.

Shittest company.

They don’t return calls or honour there word they say things and then go back on there word.

Iv had a claim go on for over a year

Déjà, depuis que nous sommes chez eux, il faut sans cesse les relancer pour obtenir l'avis d'échéance (qui devrait être automatique)...

Dernièrement, nous avons eu des attentats terroristes dans notre pays, QBE s'est empressé de nous envoyer les avenants 2 mois avant l'échéance, comme quoi à l'avenir les risques d'attentats, terrorisme, émeutes (j'en passe et des meilleures...) ne seraient plus couverts (ben oui, les assurances n'assurent que lorsqu'il n'y a pas de risque, un comble !).

Avant de signer les avenants, nous leur avons demandé à combien s'élèverait la nouvelle prime. Réponse de QBE : "Vous devez signer l'avenant avant qu'on puisse vous communiquer le montant.

On nous met donc devant le fait accompli... Nous signons donc l'avenant, sauf que lorsque nous demandons à nouveau le montant, on nous dit que c'est trop tôt et qu'ils ne peuvent pas encore le fournir !

Au final on reçoit 15 jours avant l'avis d'échéance (parce que NOUS l'avons demandé), qui, malgré la diminution des risques couverts, a malgré tout augmenté !

Nous demandons donc à résilier notre contrat, sauf qu'on nous dit qu'on est hors délai. Evidemment puisqu'ils ont tout fait pour !

Je passe sur la gestion du sinistre, ils ont tout fait pour ne donner que le minimum syndical, avec un cabinet d'expertise qui ne cessait de réclamer toujours plus de justificatifs (dont certains auraient dû être demandé par eux), jusqu'au dernier jour où ils nous ont demandé un acte notarié pour justifier que nous étions bien propriétaire du bien (sachant que ce n'est pas le genre de document qu'on obtient en 48 heures puisque ça doit passer par le service des hypothèques et qu'ils auraient pu, et dû, le demander plus tôt).

C'est sûr, comme si on s'était embêté (je reste poli...) pendant plus de 3 mois à constituer un dossier, allé 3 fois à la gendarmerie, 2 fois chez les pompiers, pour un bien qui ne serait pas à nous !!!

Ils ont frisé le ridicule !

Donc bye bye QBE, en 2025 nous retirons les 8 contrats que nous avons chez vous !
