Exceptional villa, exceeded expectations
Exceptional villa, beautifully prepared, simple to book. On arrival Provence Holidays explained clearly all the features of the villa. The villa was immaculate, with quality furnishings, and larger than expected for 7 adults and 2 babies.
On the downside. The villa had not been let recently and we had requested a heated pool in mid September. On arrival on Saturday the pool heating had only just been turned on, and the water was cold until the Wednesday. Also on arrival the air conditioning was not working with rooms at 26 degrees. The engineer arrived on the Monday and made adjustments to the temperature controls with the A/C working in all but one bedroom from the Tuesday.

Dear Graeme,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback.
We’re delighted to hear that the villa exceeded your expectations in terms of its presentation, quality, space and furnishings, and that you found the booking and arrival process straightforward.
We are, however, very sorry that the pool heating and air conditioning were not operating as expected at the beginning of your stay.
We appreciate your patience while our engineer attended and worked to resolve the problems, and we will certainly take your comments on board to improve our checks and preparations before future arrivals.
We hope that, despite these initial issues, you were able to enjoy the villa and your time in Provence, and we would be delighted to welcome you back in the future.

Wonderful House
The house is modern and beautifully decorated with pool and attractive topiary garden. Quiet and not overlooked, despite its very central location, just 3-4 minutes’ walk to the village centre.
The concierge service was efficient and very helpful. We also much appreciated the very generous welcome pack which included, wine, fruit, nibbles and other local goodies.

Villa Blanche was exactly as described
Villa Blanche was exactly as described. We appreciated the spacious contemporary interior, lovely garden and immaculate pool. Being four senior citizens we would have liked a support rail to access it. Plenty of excellent pool furniture and parasols plus outside dining and relaxation sofas.
An 8 min easy walk to a great bakery, small supermarket pharmacy etc.
The owners were in touch to ensure we enjoyed our stay.
I did find the booking process a bit confusing, but a call to the company quickly sorted this for me.
Annais and Steffie, the concierge team were extremely helpful with a taxi pick up misunderstanding at the airport, for which I was very grateful.
I was very impressed with the Professional and Kind service that I received from the Provence holidays team.
Julia.

Villa Nirvana - 5 star review
Initially an excellent set of Villa options. Detailed information to make the right choice. Easy to book. The villa was as advertised and in excellent condition. We were met by friendly hosts and all in all an excellent experience.
Villa Nirvana is in a lovely, quiet location just 5 minutes from the centre of Lourmarin. Plenty to see and do in the village, including a number of very good restaurants and two bakeries. A good sized supernarket is only 10 minutes drive away as well.
Lots of lovely villages nearby and Aix alao easily accessible. Very comfortable bedrooms and well appointed kitchen. Lots of shower rooms (one for each of the bedrooms), but only four toilets so a couple needed to be shared between two rooms.

Unfassbar

Dear Chris,
We are sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations, but we would like to clarify a few important points.
You specifically requested a villa close to the center of Aix-en-Provence, and the one you booked is indeed only 7 minutes walking from the town center. This proximity, necessarily implies an urban setting. The villa itself is well located on a quiet street, as stated in the listing. There is indeed a larger road nearby, but it is not adjacent to the house.
In addition, the contract clearly stated the address of the property, and an email containing the exact GPS location was sent to you approximately one month before your stay. Given this, and because you decided not to stay on the day of your arrival, we were unfortunately not in a position to cancel the booking on such short notice.
Despite this, at your request, we managed to find an alternative villa able to accommodate you that very same day, which is far from straightforward during high season. We therefore regret that this leads to such a public review.
Regards,
Carolin, Provence Holidays

We were welcomed to Mas des deux Muriers by the charming owners who immediately made us feel at home. The villa was perfect - spacious, stylish and well equipped. It was hard to leave the garden, the glorious pool, outdoor kitchen, boules area and table tennis but worth it to visit the restaurants and lively market of St Remy which is only a few minutes drive away. Our stay at Villa Cali
Everything about our stay at Villa Cali was exceptional. The villa is superbly designed, with breathtaking views over the sea from every room and a large and relaxing pool area. Every feature in the villa is tailor-made for comfort and enjoyment. The facilities are brand new and of luxury class. Provence Holidays made the reservation process simple and clear and upon our arrival, the concierge gave us a guided tour and explained how everything worked. From before our arrival, the owners were in close contact with us and rapidly answered the few questions we asked. The villa is located just a few kilometres from a range of beaches and the whole region is beautiful. All in all, our entire stay was memorable and one we intend to repeat.
