I was served in the Stockland Forster Prouds Jewellery store by a lovely young Sales Representative of that store named Elise who got me exactly what I was looking for at the right prices and we got professional,Friendly, Courteous, Quick and Conversational Service from her was terribly happy.

Incredibly frustrating store manager at the Victoria Park Perth branch. I was overcharged by $20, and the manager's reluctance to fix what was clearly a store error
was completely unacceptable customer service.
The manager repeated at least twice that it was human error..must be a company line.
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) businesses are legally required to sell items at their lowest ticketed price if multiple prices are displaved, or correct the mistake. I did the right thing by standing my ground to get my money back, but absolutely shouldn't have been forced to argue for it.

I have dealt with the team at Prouds in Albury, NSW many times and cannot fault their caring, genuine, customer service. The team, led by Jenni the Store Manager, are truly wonderful and the products are stunning. Thank you Prouds Albury for always being a pleasure to deal with.

Customer service representative Kasey assisted me last week, and it was by far my best experience with Prouds. She was patient, personable, witty and genuinely understanding. Kasey went above and beyond to locate a watch I had been searching for at another store. Her exceptional customer service and people skills are a true asset to Prouds, and she deserves to be recognised for the outstanding service she provides.

Beautiful bracelet priced at $500 broke off my wrist and was lost after wearing only a couple of times. Worn on my non dominant hand and undertook no physical activity with it on. Boyfriend bought replacement a year later and broke off and lost again after 2 wears. Went to store to simply ask about chances of getting a partial refund or replacement but was immediately met with a cranky old lady who yelled at me stating that of course I wants getting anything back if I lost it because that’s my fault apparently. Emailed the company twice and no response whatsoever. Not happy. Don’t waste your money.

My daughter (16 years old) bought a watch with a leather wristband, after using for only 2 weeks the wristband completely broke. The shop (in Hobart CBD) first said to her they could get it repaired under warranty, but it would take a long time and so it would be better for her to take it herself to a repair watchman. When she went back the day after to leave the watch so it could be repaired under warranty, they started saying that the warranty didn't cover the wristband. When I called them and asked them myself, the story changed again. I told them that under Australian Consumer Law an item must be of acceptable quality and durable, meaning a leather band breaking in two weeks is a potential manufacturing defect rather than normal wear, regardless of company warranty exclusions. All of a sudden the problem was that the warranty lasted only 1 month and although the watch broke in that time she brought it back 2 days after a month has passed. So it turns out they never even sent the warranty to my daughter, as they promised to do, by email. They never tried to dispute that a watch wristband shouldn't break in such a way (confirmed by the repairman she ended up bringing the watch to, who suggested to put in a formal compliant) but still said it's not their responsibility and that that brand doesn't repair wristbands anyway, so they couldn't repair it. I know it's a small amount of money to fix, but it really annoys me when someone takes advantage of a young person inexperience, not to say they kept on shifting their story. Even if they really couldn't do anything, they should have been more kind, clear in their communication and at least apologise to her for selling such poor quality item.

I received outstanding customer service from Athena at Prouds Marrickville. From the moment I walked into the store, Athena was warm, professional, and genuinely attentive. She took the time to listen to what I was looking for, answered all of my questions with patience and expertise, and made the entire experience enjoyable and stress free. What impressed me most was her genuine care and willingness to go above and beyond to ensure I found exactly what I needed (present for my sister). Her product knowledge, attention to detail, and friendly personality are a real credit to the store. Exceptional customer service is rare these days, and Athena delivered it in every way. Bought my son a silver chain from here in which he had for 5 months only wearing it when going out on weekends. The clasp failed so took back only to be told there is no warranty and they would have to send it for a quote for repair.
Called this week to be told it would cost $250 to replace the faulty clasp!

Will never purchase from this brand.

*BUYER BEWARE** IF YOU WANT QUALITY GOLD THAT WON'T TARNISH IN LESS THAN 2 YEARS THEN GO ELSEWHERE. MY DAUGHTER RECEIVED A GOLD CROSS AND GOLD CHAIN AS A CHRISTENING GIFT LESS THAN 2 YEARS AGO. BECAUSE SHE IS STILL YOUNG IT'S ONLY WORN ON SPECIAL OCCASIONS. I WENT TO PUT IT ON HER A FEW WEEKS AGO AND IT WAS SEVERELY TARNISHED. I TOOK IT TO THE STORE WHO SENT IT ON TO HEAD OFFICE FOR ASSESSMENT. ASSESSMENT TOOK PLACE AND IT WAS BLAMED ON THE WAY I STORE IT IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX. APPARENTLY THEY ALWAYS TELL THEIR CUSTOMERS (EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NEVER TOLD AT PURCHASE) NOT TO KEEP THE JEWELLERY IN ITS ORIGINAL BOX BECAUSE THE GLUE USED IN THE BOXES CAN TARNISH THE JEWELLERY. THIS IS JUST A POOR EXCUSE AS ALL MY JEWELLERY HAS ALWAYS BEEN KEPT IN ITS ORIGINAL BOXES FROM MANY MANY YEARS AGO AND THIS IS THE FIRST EVER PIECE OF GOLD JEWELLERY THAT HAS EVER TARNISHED. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING. SAVE YOURSELF FROM WASTING YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE. YOU JUST HAVE TO GOOGLE PROUDS JEWELLERY TARNISH ISSUES AND THE REVIEWS SAY IT ALL!!

SOLD ME A DAMAGED CHAIN. THEY THOUGHT I WOULDNT NOTICE. THEY WERE WRONG.

The young person who initially provided service was ok but the other young person who came over interrupted the other person, took over and had a terrible manner which was not friendly at all. The manner was smart and rude. She kept saying if you take it today I can give you 40% off. My budget was $1000 for a gold chain. I would never have spent $1000 with that service. I walked out turned off to ever return.

Had a bangle bought for me. The bangle broke at the join. Said they couldn't fix it as it would break again. Well that was your design and mistake. They knew it was brought there, and because it was a gift l had no receipt. No offer to replace with someone else. Bangle still at shop won't be picking it up. Never shop there again.

I purchased an automatic Seiko divers watch from Prouds store in Warriewood in November 2025. By January the watch was losing 10 to 20 minutes a day. I returned it to the store in early January and asked for a replacement or a refund. The assistant manager in charge told me that Seiko watches always lose a bit. However, she refused my refund or replacement request and told me it was Seiko’s problem, not Prouds’ even though my purchase contract had been with Prouds. She also told me that it would take 6 weeks for Seiko to check the watch. So , today , 6 weeks later I returned to Prouds to learn from a different woman that my watch had not been returned and could take as long as 3 months to arrive. I gave them 24 hours to give me a refund or I would complain to Consumer Affairs. That had no effect because, obviously, such complaints are frequent. Proud is, from my experience, a completely disreputable and dishonest company that should be avoided.

I request a sales rep to retrieve a ring from the display window at Kardinya Shopping Centre, Fremantle PERTH
Immediately I asked to produce my drivers licence without any explanation or justification causing me distress and discomfort. Later on I learned through another Jeweler that while it’s required for high value items they take the time to explain the reasoning behind of this request to their customers.
I lay by the ring which was reduced from $1,140 to $549.
I returned to the store on 6th of February to collect the ring and after finalising the transaction. I discovered a similar ring with the same price tag as the one I have purchased, red tag reduced from just over a $1,000 to $549.
I asked the customer service NOT
To presented to me. Despite the initial hesitation, she complied with my request. I remarked that it was a nicer looking ring and that I hadn’t seen it during my previous visits. She replied “it has been here for a long time”
However, when I decided to exchanged it for the one I had just purchased, she changed her tune and did a 360d turned and took off to the back of the store, returning to advise me the price was NOT $549 but $999 due to an “HUMAN ERROR”
I ended up returning the original ring there and then.
My complaint in writing to head office was a waste of my time and effort.
Their response, again Human Error” but if it would have been a “System error” they would have honour the discounted price.
Go figure. An insult to my intelligence !!!
I will never ever buy from Prouds again

Went in to look at silver bangles,they were on a shelf behind the counter. I asked if I could look at them,woman serving me (that's if you could call it that)asked which one I would like to look at, I said that I can't actually see them, they are on a shelf high behind the counter. I was told that she can't take the whole tray down, once again I said I can't see them where they are. I said I need to look at what I want to by.She stood her ground with a sickly smirk on her face and once again asked me which one I wanted to look at .This women shouldn't be dealing with the public.Shit service.

Baby ID bracelet, padlock clasp broken, only realised when I got it home. I went straight back to the store on the afternoon of purchase & was advised to submit for repair under 12-month warranty. I have now been advised that because it has been engraved the 12-month warranty is void.
The whole idea of an ID bracelet is to have it engraved with the baby's name.
How does engraving the name plate void the warranty of a padlock clasp?
Do not purchase from Prouds. Save your money & time & buy somewhere else.

I bought a gift card for a birthday present with a necklace. Got the necklace but was told my gift card was via email. I said I wanted the actual card to pass on but they said, no they couldn’t do that. I said can you please reimburse me, they said no, can’t do that. I said I don’t have a printer and Louie from Sydney said just take the email in to Prouds. I’m so upset and angry. Will NEVER buy from them again. So unhelpful, it’s just pathetic. So angry
