Sadly, my beloved mother passed away last week after a long and rather difficult last few years of her life.

We took out a promis life plan several years ago and always wondered if and when we needed to claim how the process would work.
Obviously this is a very stressful time anyway but Promis life made the process so much easier. When I called to claim, they showed genuine compassion and care.

I made the claim the day after my mum passed away, really as I was stressed about what happens next and in particular her funeral. After I was send the claim pack by email, I was able to visit the registrar the next day in the morning. I then scanned a copy of my mums death certificate, having already completed the very simple claim form online.

3 hours after I had submitted the required documents, the money Wes deposited in my account. Quick, efficient and quite incredible service actually. Thank you for making such a stressful situation easier.

Can’t fault this company at all. I called after my mum passed away explained I was her next of kin and gave them the policy number and details , asked if I could just receive the paperwork by email and return the same way instead of doing by post and they paid the claim within a day or two. Very pleasant and empathetic people on the phone and made a very difficult time that bit easier for me. Thanks promis life

Awful company. My mother had paid in to a funeral plan for almost 2 years. She has recently passed away, rang them up to find the policy had lapsed before she died and they are refusing to out anything. £1000s wasted! Very disappointing in an awful time. Would not recommend.

Don't. They've had loads of money off me. N through severe circumstances out of my control ie bank fraud n bering a single of an autistic child. My payments weren't going through. Nas my child takes up most of my time . I struggled getting intouch. They unwilling reinstate my policy or refund any of the money. Taking advantage of a vulnerable family disgraceful. Don't know how these thieves sleep at night. Legal robbery ???????

My dear husband passed away recently and I phoned Promis life to update them . The person I spoke with was empathetic and very very helpful . Once the paperwork was completed I was paid immediately . I cannot fault this company and I highly recommend them . Thank you for your caring attitude to me when I was at the lowest point of my life . I’m extremely grateful to you .

Just wanted to say thank you. Put claim in for my mother's policy. Everything was sorted within the time they stated. Yes there was a mistake in the amount paid out but upon calling & speaking to them it was rectified straight away. The "missing" amount was paid into my account within 2 days of that call. Thanks again for rectifying the issue & not adding to my already raised stress levels

Mum passed 3 weeks ago phoned promise life all was ok then they say once paperwork has been sent back and verified it takes 2 working day to pay out they got the paperwork yesterday finalised it today then they tell us that it will be 5 working days it states on the claim form that it takes 2 days customer service rep says 5 so which is right this is a very stressful time as it is this just makes things worse

Awful Company DO NOT USE . I sent off my dads death certificate and appropriate forms they are now stalling the payment as my Mum who is 83 has no digital footprint . They never called to tell us this its only I have been calling them 5 times in total disgusting . I have send more documents over to them and they still haven't paid her . It's bad enough having my Dad die let alone fighting with a Compnay that wont pay out the policy . SHAME ON YOU PROMIS LIFE as you should promise to pay out my mum has lost her husband and needs this money for the funeral. I will be cancelling my Mums policy too and never ever recommend them

My Mum unfortunately passed away recently-I called Promis life and they sent the necessary paperwork to me promptly and the sum insured was transferred into my account promptly.
Was very nervous after reading some reviews-but must say they were excellent!

Hi got a policy out quite a while ago never received my vouchers tried ringing reguarding this.

We took out a policy on my husband in 2020. After his passing on 31stay 2024 i submitted a claim. On the 14th June we received full payment to my bank account with no issues. Everything was dealt with so professionally and with compassion. Great company to deal with.

I sent my claim on Friday. Given the weekend, probably delivered Monday/Tuesday. I received payment on Wednesday. Throughout the process fantastic customer service, really caring following bereavement. So helpful to ease the circumstances.

My Dad passed away in April 2023, Promis Life paid out within 2 days of my claim date. I can't thank them enough we were going through the worst time in our lives, they made life a little easier financially for me and my Mam.

They took 70 pounds off me with no warning leaving me struggling to get food. I posted them a letter that money saying when I could pay the 70 pounds. They ignored it took it out without warning

Great service. I read bad reviews and was concerned, but they were great. Very quick very easy extremely helpful. I rang to say mum had died they answered straight away. Told me what to do sent me a letter filled out forms sent the death certificate within a couple of days the money was in my account. So thank you promis life. I did send everything recorded delivery didn't use free post but very satisfied thank you.

I sent off my dads death certificate,around 2/3 weeks ago and apparently they not received it 🤔and when i called they said to ring back next week, aint these companys supposed to pay out more or less straight away hes paid in they should pay out simple, i WILL get in touch with a financial ombudsman if i dont get joy within the next 2 weeks, some of the reviews are shocking! Hopefully it wont come to that but we shall see,p.s they blaming Royal mail!

Company never answer the phone something dodgy about this

My father has passed away last week and we have been trying to contact by phone using both numbers getting very worried and stressed it’s making my mother very ill thinking how she’s going to pay for the funeral and reading all these reviews has made us worry even more so for goodness sake’s will someone pick up the phone tomorrow when we try again because this seems to be the only way of contacting!!!!
