Prepaid Financial Services Arvostelua 

I was forced to use this company by East Sussex County Council who opened accounts for us to receive and manage direct payments for disabled people. Now they have set up a "one time pass code" system which sends a code to a phone to enable log in. They were not given our phone details so we cannot receive the code and are unable to log in and pay disability related bills. Have been unable to get through to them by phone. Asked for help from the council who suggested I just keep trying to get through to them by phone. Absolute disaster!!!

Seen posts that say councils force you to use this service the truth is you can open a normal bank account or even tell the authority you want your direct payments paid into that account they can't object as there is no legal requirement to use pre paid card services so the authority can have acsess to the account
I'm dumping them in next 2 days and in fact my local authority has offered no objection at all

For starters I am forced to use EML because my son has a cash budget from Rochdale council who insist on using this company's prepaid card. The password requires changes every 3 months which is a pain. The system is down far too often which makes payments to his PA late. I dread using the system every time and would strongly urge the government to re consider am alternative.

The people who run this company are soulless. They have designed the most appalling system I have seen, taking advantage of the most vulnerable in society by contracting with local councils. No number to contact them on and no response to emails.

Each time I use this system, it is with a sense of dread.
The system is always down, the logins don't work, you cannot get hold of them, they never correct anything and you are forced to use them, and of course the government chose this company, which has links to money laundering and other criminality. I cannot bear dealing with them. my PA often has to wait payment whilst I chase them for a resolution to the problems
.if you have a choice please avoid them.

My disabled brother has to use this to pay for several different services. All I can say is he dreads each month when it comes to payment day. This system is an absolute joke. He is paralysed from the neck down so these things can be quite difficult and stressful. The system changes on a regular basis. He has now gone to pay someone and all his stored payees have gone so he has to add them all again. A joke.

This is not exactly a review but I’m hoping some of the people on here will read this as it may be a solution to a problem many of us have encountered with PFS. To everyone out there (including myself) who have complained about having to change passwords every 90 days and finding the website will not accept whatever we put in, I’ve been on with customer services and found a solution that worked for me.
If you are using a Mac Keyboard make sure it’s set to UK not US. The website will NOT accept the # symbol as a special character and for many Mac users this is where the £ sign normally lives. When creating a new password don’t use the # sign as it simply won’t accept it. I’ve been using 3,4&5 with the shift key held to generate the special characters at the end of the password for ages but my Mac was set to American keyboard so was typing # instead of £. As soon as I made a password that didn’t contain the # the site accepted it and allowed the new password to be saved.
This issue still needs addressing at PFS’s side as the designers of the website either need to alter the coding to accept ALL special characters, or it needs to display a message on the create password page telling us exactly which symbols to avoid. The generic “8-20 characters, a capital, lowercase, number and at least two special characters” is clearly wrong and causing many people undue stress.
Hope this is helpful and the some of the other folk on here read this solution.
I have moved my star rating up from a 1 to a 3 as today customer services were helpful and agreed to pass the fact the hashtag was not accepted.

the whole online system needs a good upgrade, its frustrating and time consuming trying to use it for my account. I wish I didn't have to use this company but I don't have any choice, if you have a choice go with someone else !

Son los emisores de tarjetas prepago de correos donde me han robado 3000€ y a miles de personas en toda España. No se hacen responsables de nada y si quieres recuperar tu dinero tienes que denunciarlos con todo lo que conlleva de abogados juicios y años esperando.

A mi me an dicho que haga un ingreso para un préstamo préstamo.

It in the Irish Times newspaper , they have been fined £1 million pounds for fraudulent behaviour and went into liquidation yesterday . Had nothing but problems with them . Its unbelievable that the government were using a company like this .

I wouldn't p**s on them if they were on fire and I want them GONE and the account back with my local Borough Council who are answerable to me and my MP! This is another case of shifting accountability away from the Public Sector to Private.

Comentar que hay personas que usan este banco con códigos personalizados para hacer reservas de alquiler de pisos o casas en España por ejemplo. Te indican que tienes que hacer el pago de inmediato para obtener la reserva. Cuidado; dicen tener empresa y que a esta cuenta (IE44PFSRR9910 - SWIFT: PFSRIE21) es la que pasan los pagos a Hacienda y de esta forma dicha entidad puede reducirles los impuestos... Sugiero que no hagan ninguna transferencia por Internet.. las personas son unas aprovechadas. Por favor indaguen, recojan pruebas y denuncien. Cada Comisaría tiene un área Judicial, averigüen el correo y envíen toda la evidencia posible sobre la forma en que los contactan por las aplicaciones, correo y whatsap.

Hackearon el whatsapp de una amiga y, haciéndose pasar por ella, nos enviaron un whatsapp a todos sus contactos pidiendo una transferencia inmediata al nº de cuenta ES3367130002580016519583. Si caes en su trampa y lo haces, te dicen que no la han recibido y después te piden que hagas un envío de dinero al móvil nº 613671483
