Experience with PremierTEFL
The job search seminar I had with PremierTEFL on 11 August 2025 and my overall experience with the company, including assessments and interaction with staff, has been of the best. The seminar was online and went through the various stages of getting an online or in-person teaching job. The seminar leader, Emso, was highly professional and skillfully handled the large number of people on the seminar.

I have recently completed my180 180-hour TEFL course with Laura Graham. The course itself was quite fine; the assignments, assignment control, and grading were acceptable in both the content asked and the answering speed. I only ask if they could add a part for "teaching young learners, or business English which are important parts of teaching English. I thank everyone who helped me, and wish them well.

You guys don't help people, just doing bussniess.
I’ve come across platforms and tools that promise support with job hunting, CV building, and internships. I believed in those promises, I followed every step, trusted the process, and waited. But in the end, I didn’t receive the help I was counting on.
It's really disheartening when something that gives you hope ends up letting you down. When you're actively looking for opportunities and trying to build a better future, even small support means a lot. And when that support doesn't come, it hits hard.
This is not just frustration, it's a reminder that promises should come with action. I hope others don’t face the same silence after being shown "green lights." Support should be real, not just displayed.

Hi Mazhar,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and we're truly sorry to hear about your experience.
Upon reviewing your case, we found that your communication was solely with our tutor support team, who are focused on providing academic assistance. Unfortunately, they are not responsible for job hunting or career guidance – we have a separate department dedicated to that support.
We fully acknowledge that we should have done more to direct your queries to the appropriate team, and we sincerely apologise for the confusion and the lack of support you received. You deserved clearer guidance, and we take full responsibility for that oversight.
To make things right, our career support team will be in touch with you today to share resources and provide guidance to support your job search.
We genuinely value your feedback and are taking steps internally to ensure others have a more seamless and supportive experience going forward.

Teaching Young Learners
I have just completed the 30-hour teaching young learners course. I found the course to be interesting and motivating. I learned useful techniques necessary to be an effective teacher for very young learners to teenagers. Keeping learners engaged with interesting topics and allowing them to self-correct help their development in a positive way.

Poor Communication
Not ideal out of country. I finished my level 5 course in 4 weeks, but it took an additional 4 weeks for them just to dispatch my hard-copy certificate to the post in Ireland. I still have a long wait before it arrives in America. So much for teaching abroad this Summer. The course itself was good and thankfully self-paced, (hence the three stars) but all my communication with the actual company has been awful. I think they must be chronically under-staffed. They were always super polite and friendly if I could get a hold of them, but it’s like they’ve only got one person frantically trying to manage everything .

Hi Tristan, thank you for sharing your feedback. We're really sorry to hear about the delays in receiving your hard-copy certificate and the communication challenges you faced. We understand how important it is to have timely updates, especially when planning for teaching abroad, and we truly regret that we didn't meet your expectations in this regard.
While we’re glad that you found the course itself beneficial and appreciated the self-paced nature, we recognize that the delays in dispatching your certificate have been frustrating. We’re currently working on improving our processes to ensure faster turnaround times and better communication.
We really appreciate your patience and understanding, and if there's anything further we can do to help or resolve this, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Ready to Inspire and Educate
I’m thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my TEFL course!
The journey through the course was both enriching and eye-opening. It provided a comprehensive overview of teaching methodologies, classroom management, lesson planning, and language acquisition theories. Each module was designed to be practical and relevant, especially for those planning to teach English to non-native speakers.
One of the highlights for me was learning how to adapt teaching styles to different age groups and language levels. I especially appreciated the emphasis on interactive learning, phonology, and using real-life communication tasks to build student confidence.
The assessments and peer interactions challenged me to think critically and reflect on my teaching style. By the end of the course, I felt far more confident in my ability to design engaging lessons and manage a classroom effectively.
I’m now excited to begin the next chapter—putting these skills into practice in a real teaching environment. Whether online or abroad, I feel ready to support learners on their English journey.
Thank you to the instructors and team who supported me along the way!
