We did not use a law office management software before PracticePanther. We researched various solutions and determined that PracticePanther was most suitable for our firm. Our favorite thing about PracticePanther is it's simplicity; access from anywhere online; ease of invoicing clients; and integrated credit card payments.

Before Practice Panther we had an expensive local server that ran a very old and clunky database. This server constantly required maintenance and updating. Along with the headaches of downtime and expensive IT bills, it was very slow! Switching to Practice Panther has helped us become more efficient, reduce our expenses, stay organized, and track client data.

Amazing software and staff!!!! The best thing to happen to my law practice. PracticePanther has a dedicated team of managers and technicians who would not rest until my firm was running at its highest possible efficiency. Before using Practice Panther, we operated on supersized document management and billing platforms. Many of the features were impractical, technical support was cumbersome, and they provided no advantage to the clients themselves. Practice Panther has been intuitive to operate, integrates easily with accounting and document management programs, and allows us to keep clients in the loop through portals and clean invoicing systems.
Our favorite feature of Practice Panther is the availability of technical support to guide lawyers through most any issue.

I have been using PP for a few months now - first in a test phase and now for real. It is a well thought out practice management paradigm with some bells and whistles that make too much noise.

That said, there are some wonderful features - and they tell me some of my suggestions may be in the pipeline.

The pages have a variety of 'button' types - which is a tad confusing until you realize they are buttons - links to parts of the program. My opinion is they should all look alike - for us users that did not code the program. As lawyers, we are big boys and girls - and can deal with straight hyperlinks - even if it is not that pretty. Or, make all the buttons the same - 2-3 different kinds of links - some not looking like a link at all. So the learning curve is pretty steep over some of the competitors.

The invoice is very professional - laid out well. More, the invoice is very customizable.

The portal is GREAT. And is why I left my other PMP. I loved everything about my former program except the portal functions. So I was forced to migrate.

In all, if you get past the learning curve (the online documentation is ok - but I would like some more depth) PP is an invaluable tool.

I had a fairly rudimentary practice management system before joining Practice Panther (Google Business, Word, etc) - a typical sole practitioner kind of approach because you wear so many hats! I realised I needed one simple, user-friendly platform with good security and functionality - Practice Panther fit the bill.

I honestly love the intuitive design and user-friendly search functions. It just makes matter management, invoicing and billing an absolute breeze, rather than a hassle.

Before PracticePanther, I was paying every month for one of the leading practice management softwares for solo practitioners, but did not use it because it was difficult to learn and was not user-friendly. Billing and invoicing seemed like chores before I started using PracticePanther. PracticePanther integrates seamlessly with my life; there is no learning curve because it is so intuitive and easy to use! I was able to start using Practice Panther the same day I signed up for it!

Security is the number one priority for our firm. With PracticePanther's security features that blocks users from certain parts of the software, as well as their military standard of encryption, our firm is much more protected then using an internal server. We needed to be HIPAA compliant and their Box.com integration allows our files to be hosted securely according to the HIPAA standards. All around great, easy, and safe.

As in-house counsel, one of my main tasks was making our department paper-free. I am happy to announce - the day has finally come thanks to PracticePanther!

By reducing the amount of clutter and paper, we're able to work significantly faster and collaborate more efficiently with our team. Anyone can find any document by simply searching our Box.com database inside the software. We can even send contracts out for electronic signature right from the program - big time saver! Thanks to the team, we are finally paperless.

I used a variety of applications, ranging from Excel and Quickbooks, to Word and Outlook. With Practice Panther, everything is done under one roof. I was organized before; now, I am more organized that I even knew was possible. Love Practice Panther.

I was quite surprised by how easy it was to use when I first signed up. I followed the steps, completed everything, and was actually using it myself within the first few minutes without having to watch any long tedious training videos or webinars. I'm not very computer literate so this was a huge plus and we've stuck with them ever since.
