The staff treat you like dirt. I paid £1,700 for an £800 loan, you'd think that they would talk to someone paying them such ridiculous sums of money with respect but no.

My repayments dates were set for the 28th of each month. In November I called them up and asked if I can make a double payment or pay on the 22nd of December because over Christmas we get paid a week early. So as I explained, I won't have any money on the 28th of December. The lady took a double payment and then said "Your next payment due on the 28th of December will only be £44" (instead of £150).

I asked why I still have to make a payment since I paid double this month, she said the system can't move payments forward she can only delay them. So I asked why did she take that extra money? She started talking to me as if I am an idiot, and telling me unless I clear the balance there's no way to avoid the system taking money on the 28th of December.

Awful service! Clearly they don't care about their customers, they obviously wanted me to miss a payment so they can add additional charges to my account.

Also there's no way to make payments through their website, they make it hard for you to pay off early so they can maximize the cost of your loan.

Don't expect any empathy from the staff if you call for help on anything. They think you're scum and don't care about you.

Borrowed £800 in feb, was paying £122.78 each month for 12 months, decided in oct I wanted to clear what was left was told I had £602.45 left, I paid £479.67 leaving me with only 1 payment left, they told me it would be less because I'd cleared it quicker but when I called the following month I was told it was £136 to pay, increased by interest. To me this didn't sound right at all as your monthly payments are worked out to include interest so after an argument I eventually paid it to get shot of them, I will NEVER use them again, they are con artists in my opinion

Would not recommend them at all. Staff have no communication what so ever and tell you one thing and then another tells you different. They owe me money and are making excuse after excuse not to refund it, and refund it in full.

I have been hassled by these people to take out a loan so decided to go ahead. Got told I could have £1200. I went for £1000 gave all my details. Signed the online contract. Sent my payslip via email. Even had my payment plan and dates in front of me!
Then 4 hours later was DECLINED!!! waste of a Sunday afternoon!!

Dreadful company. Quite apart from the horrendous interest, they apply to the bank for repayments with one account (which the bank 'sets' aside') but then take it through a second account meaning the first 'set aside' amount is effectively frozen for three days till the bank reverses it. In addition they don't listen! I used to get paid on Friday via the same day CHAPS system but thie payment often didn't arrive till midday which explained when I first applied telling them to set my repayment day to the next Monday. They didn't, meaning the money often wasn't there on the Friday and they then demanded an additional fee!!! They flatly refused to change the day so in the end I had to cancel my card to stop them applying.

However desperate you are for money, don't use these sharks!

rubbish like quick quid, trash, stingy greedy and scams, i had a 1000 loan and was in trouble and they would not give me the other one, i payed on time, even early, so they refered me to their crap sister company

Please do not take a loan with the company, there interest rate are high. I took a 1000 pound from them and have to pay a 1000 pound back. Threatening behaviour with poor customer service. But I will refer them to ombudsmen.

If bn with p2p for over 4yrs never had any problem until now.my payments always came off soon as my wages were paid in they never took it and never took next payment .they sent me a email with dates that suited for money to come off all I had to do was reply yes so I did no payment taken now there treating me with debt collectors they say I owe them over a thousand pounds I am so so angry that they deliberately never took payments so I owed them more .I'm disgusted with them .

Had two loans with these robbers and paid them back, which crippled me and now am badly in debt and they don't realise how it was their fault. How can they say declining and approving someone same day is responsible lending!!

I used Pound to Pocket last year and found the service easy to use. I've not taken out a high interest loan before and if I hadn't paid off half way through I would have paid almost as much interest as the value of the loan, however, the terms and conditions were clear from the outset and I got cash when I most needed it. The customer service line has also been good.

I applied for a loan with p2p over three years ago and was declined due to my poor credit rating. Despite the fact that my financial circumstances have changed. As soon as I login to the site I'm IMMEDIATELY shunted to the declined message with no chance to update my details or re-apply after a sufficient break. Try anyone else for this type of service. I intend to, maybe another company will extend the courtesy of actually viewing my information before making a decision.

Don't even know how did they get hold of my details, now I am getting annoying calls and emails, not only they have ridiculously high rates compare to other lenders, but they also keep annoying me with their calls/txt messages/emails!

I have used Pounds 2 Pocket a few times now, and I've been so happy with the service. Customer services are polite and professional and very helpful when you need it. Top ups are available which is handy. Easy to apply and got my money almost instantly. Would definitely use again!

Having been turned down by Wonga I started getting bounced about on other websites, getting 'prequalified' for one loan only to be passed into another website with more questions. Then I got a call from Pounds to Pocket and it sounded like I was speaking to an actual underwriter. I felt like she made her decision there and then - it can't have been my credit score which is shot to bits! I took a loan of £1000 for 3 weeks and paid about £80 in fees and interest which I think is very reasonable considering most of the information you give is on trust. Worked for me but I did have an exit plan. Obviously these loans cost a lot over long periods. Thank you Pounds to Pocket. Amongst other things I bought a flight ticket which is sold out now.

Got a loan from pounds to pockets. Big mistake. £450 borrowed and paying back nearly £1000 over a year. Anyways 2 months on from the loan I wanted to pay £250 off the capital to reduce the monthly payments; to be told if i wanted to pay thats fine but they cant tell me how much would go towards capital and my monthly payments wouldnt change. Very dodgy way of doing things. When challenged on the contract the american girls made me to out to be stupid.
They dont care. Avoid this company at all times!!

Paid of 3 loans never missed a payment now they saying cant give me another.well they was quick enough taking my money and all the interest of me.avoid coz they are rip offs u pay nearly double back then they don't wanna no u well it's there loss
