I was a little skeptical about having a portrait done via the internet, but PortraitsOnDemand totally blew me away with their speed AND quality! I sent a photo of one of our horses that passed away as a gift for my husband. Less than a week later, PortraitsOnDemand started sending me proofs. The first time they sent an update of the actual painting, I opened the proof while sitting with my husband, burst into tears, and had to run into the other room so as not to give away the surprise! Buyer be warned/ updated
The first attempt at a oil of my individuals came with parts not painted or missing like is was brush stokes missing in various spots. I thought it was shipped wet, however there WAS no oil paint on the bubble wrap so it was intentionally shipped in this condition. I was mortified. They did have it redone by someone different which i had to wait.. and it was ok.. i contacted them and said , because of this i thought it was appropriate to offer a free oil or greatly reduced painting.. lol i got the same 15% everyone else gets.. i would say its a coin toss ..i wont be using this service again
They redid the piece.. offered a substantial discount on a new piece and the redone painting is gorgeous 💯
