I wouldn't even give them a 1 star if could. I have never dealt with such a shambolic company, they cancel last minute, when they make you a new appointment it will at least another 2 months to get them back. They don't even know what the word emergency means, I waited two weeks for a leaky ceiling to be repaired! The workforce are clearly given a time to do a job, I see them sitting around in their vans for hours doing nothing waiting to do their next job. They could easily increase the frequency of work if they didn't spend so much time sitting around doing nothing. I cancelled the last appointment they made with me, I will do the work myself. I couldn't bear the thought of the cowboys coming to my property. Unless I have to, I will never let them anywhere near my property again. Complete trash company which is clearly run by a incompetent management.

i rang into platform housing emergency repairs line today 14/12/2024 at 14:00pm because my window mechanism had broken so i couldnt lock the window shut, its my bedroon window and i live on the ground floor so apart from it being freezing, its also a security risk! i explained all this to the scottish agent on the phone, and he put me on hold while he rang one of the platform operatives, he came back and put it as an emergency call out and promised that this operative would call me or text me to come & fix my window today, well its now 19:00pm and no one has arrived, plus ive sat on the emergency line waiting 4 times for approx 45 mins each call listening to music waiting..... but they never picked up! WHY CALL IT AN EMERGENCY LINE IF THEY CANT BE BOTHERED! ive had to call out a private company to complete the work which has set me back £240.00, which i wont get back,

Wish I could give no stars.
So they let the house next door to me stand empty and rot for 2 years. Their damaged house caused damp and damage to my house.
When they finally get their finger out and start work on the empty house their workers are the most inconsiderate bunch of cowboys I’ve ever known.
They had gardeners who blocked my pathway with bramble and debris, so much so that I couldn’t get my disabled daughter down my pathway in her wheelchair and my 70 year old dad had to clear it to make the area safe (I was at work) causing my dad to cut his hand open.
I have a disabled parking bay for my daughter and their workers are that rude that they park virtually touching my bumper, to the extent that I can’t get her wheelchair out of my boot or get my car out of my space and when asked to move they ignore you or snigger and don’t do it.
I’ve taken the complaint to environmental health.
Thank god I don’t have to rent a house from these scammers.
A housing shortage?! Na, the HA just can’t be bothered to sort their empty houses out.

DO NOT LIVE HERE! Recently moved out and they are stealing £228 of my deposit for ‘cleaning’ contracts states must be cleaned to a professional standard which it was. Thet are now claiming this is to paint the walls which do not need painting. Liars and thieves.

Have been waiting on a kitchen refit for 3 years, guarantees date of 08/23, Hakinson Whittle never showed up. Went to final review, guaranteed date of 4/9/24, same company never turned up!! Shocking service

I,am tring to end the tenancy of my Late mothers bungalow.I,ve cleared most of the furniture and belongings out of the property but PLATFORM HOSING won,t communicate with me.I,ve phoned and been given no help or advice at all the calls have ended in me losing my temper!I only want to hand the keys back they make my landlord look 5 star(Lambeth Council) This shower are totally incompetant i would be better off buying a used car of Arthur Daley of off a fly pitch of Del Boy. Avoid like the plague. good riddance phg.

Hi I've lived in platform housing since July last year my neighbours have made complaints after complaints discriminating my son for his gender identity disbelieving my son is diagnosed with behavioural issues sleeping disorder struggles to regulate his emotions etc I've been accused of my sons contacted taxi fir school been reported to the police and the housing association saying there posting parcels and enveloped of money threw my letter box they use to post a missed call card threw at the most this was not discusses with me a complaint been put in about putting a curtain up at my front door saying I'm stopping people seeing what's being posted threw not been discussed with me but people shouldn't be looking threw my letter Box or window accsued of my sin growing weed because his bedroom led lights was on all the time was mot discussed with me reporting every time I went to the cat early hours complaining about my car locking lights bear in mind I'm parked on my drive reporting off boys down my ally runners for drugs not discussed with me along with others ive had the neighbour say she was gonna come round with a baseball bat to my son told platform its been allowed the woman has now moved over the road I've had the housing officer be homophobic when she put a referral into children services calling my son a he then she all the way threw complaints of antisocial behaviour yet not listened to my side then now been issued a section 21 with reason which they never had to do played a right dirty loophole with me so now I'm at risk of completely being homeless and separated from my son and the list of wring doings go and on I would advise anybody going with platform I was in a 1 bed flat with my son before this house and not 1 complaint I would give less than 1 star but not gave option too

not a good company very rude and dont care less if you are in urgent need to be rehoused

I have nothing positive to say about my 11 years relationship with Platform Housing, where do I start?,
Shoddy, unprofessional, lazy, Blind, just a few words that come to mind.
If Platform Housing is your final and only pathway to accommodation, think about emigrating rather than make that move, harsh words, yes! but warranted, best of luck.

Emergency number doesn’t work

The number they give you to report an emergency is pointless. It just loops back to the option stage and you cannot therefore report an emergency. Total waste of time. No other way of contacting them unless you have about a week to spare waiting for a response.

Over 24 hours of trying to access help for my 95 year old mother from this bunch of clowns. The automated phone system cuts out when you select emergency. Otherwise it just keeps looping and asking the same questions repeatedly. She has no hot water or heating and I can't speak to anyone at Platform. Utterly disgraceful.

Would have given zero stars if possible. My elderly 96 year old grandmother has had the locks changed on her flat by platform as they lost the master key. We have been asking for months now for more keys to be cut for family (which only platform can do) as my nan can’t get down the stairs to open the door. It means we have to play musical keys every time someone visits and it’s causing her a lot of stress. This is an elderly lady for whom stress is very worrying given health conditions. We have paid for these keys and been chasing for MONTHS and they have taken our money (in February) and have never delivered on getting the keys cut. It isn’t the first issue we have also had many issues with her flat take months to be sorted and every time is stresses my Nan out to the point she doesn’t sleep!! I would appreciate someone contact me about this.

By far the worst housing association I have ever come across. I'm almost certain they break rules and regulations. Like leaving a house with heating that won't turn off and had my house heating upto 27°c for months I reported this and my 2 kids under 3 the radiator in their bedroom had no dials to turn the sweltering radiator down. I had to leave my windows open just to get the house to 25°c and it was Still months before they came to fix it. That's just one of the many ways platform housing are failing their customers. Wouldn't even recommend them as a landlord to anyone repairs jobs aren't done for.months after booking. I ring in January for an emerging repair get told it's and emergency and no one comes out until April and still waiting for my may appointment..which probably isn't necessary as per they book the same job 3x and then wonder why there's no appointments left for anyone for months
Platform don't know what the hell they are doing. nothing but problems since I move in 2021.

I would of given zero stars property care came to cut the grass next door and while this idiot mowed the grass he smashed my back window on my car and lied about it because when I went out he was o n the phone to his boss and they told him to drive of without cutting my grass when I phoned they just gave me an email address for proof it was there idiot worker its taken them 5 years to put the lights on in the car park and as I'm disabled they've given me the car park that's the fervest away from my front door and on crutches they don't care if they break your stuff

Worst company in the UK. Do not maintain their buildings and do not want to know when their faulty guttering causes faults within the flats including electrical equipment!

My daughter moved in a flat over 3 years she doesn't get on with the housing officer she all ways blame her for things going on and she won't talk to me how can you get other housing officer

The only reason I've given PHG 2 stars is because their front-line staff are pretty amazing and do a good job when they're here on call, or answer the phone, otherwise, I'd give them zero, if possible. But, the systems, website and management of the organisation are a dog's dinner, and as an experienced manager in housing, mental health and community services, I know where the faults lie.

I live in a bungalow in Tetney Lincolnshire, part of a small estate of 'over 55's' housing. We all have individual homes with our own entrances and gardens. We all pay our own utilities and Council Tax. Platform HG claim these are 'Communal Properties' and apply service charges for services that do not exist. I have been querying these charges since moving in. I have taken my case to the Housing Ombudsman. I still pay my basic rent but that is all. Today I received a letter telling me I owe in excess of £1100. That amount is how much charges they have applied since I moved in. Every home here is being charged, this year an average of £50 per month for services we do not receive. Despite registered letters, emails and phone calls (when I can get through), they continue to demand the charges. I was told in April that I no longer had to pay charges. This came from Head Office. Yet still they are hounding me for this money! Platform will make in excess of 18 thousand pounds this year from elderly and disabled residents for NOT providing services. THAT IS FRAUD!

I have lived in my property for 10 years, since platform have taken over everything has gone south. They never answer you, loose formal complaints, bodge all the repairs that need completing. I was ment to be having a new kitchen fitted,but they called me the day before to say the contractors had gone bust, so it won't happen.
I am disabled and in an unsuitable property, this sage has been going on for 12 months, they said I couldn't have a shower, the wanted an ot assessment then said they don't have the report and wanted me to chase the ot and ask her to send it to them. I then involved my councillor, and platform were here with a week to come and measure up my bathroom for a wet room !!!!!!
AVOID AT ALL COST !!!!!
