Platform housing are a disgrace i have been left living with damp and mould for months all I've had is 3 people come and said they just looking and away they go I suffer with heart failure triple A aneurysm and breathing problems they just don't care about anyone I'll just keep running a humidifier 24/7 and mould myself. I am 82.

Platform housing have left elderly residents in Hereford without hot water for 3 weeks. This is the second time in 6 months. Some are carrying hot water on their walkers from the kitchen to the bathroom. Their reply in an email says the situation is not ideal!

Unhelpful when you need something, every experience with repairs has been an issue. Been told I’ve had a part ordered and now told it can’t be chased and just fobbed off at every point possible. Unhelpful, avoid at all costs

I accept that maintenance work is necessary and that contractors have the right to carry out repairs during working hours. However, the behaviour of the workmen sent into the empty flat beneath mine has been unacceptable. Singing loudly and behaving in an anti‑social manner is not part of their remit, and it undermines the wellbeing of all tenants.

When I raised this with a member of the Call Centre team, I was told “that’s just who workmen are” and “it’s inside working hours.” This response is dismissive, breaches PHG’s own internal policies and standards, and shows a complete disregard for tenant welfare.

These are not isolated incidents — they reflect failings year on year. PHG is a Community Interest Company, not a profit‑driven enterprise, yet it appears to care little for its current tenants, focusing instead on building more houses and attracting new tenants while neglecting those already in its care.

Why is this flagrant disregard for standards being allowed to continue? Why is this not being addressed by the Social Housing Regulator? We claim to uphold a good standard of living to support the vulnerable and less fortunate, yet PHG, despite its poor track record, has been allowed to grow into a behemoth within the Social Housing sector.

I am beyond fed up with Platform Housing. They don’t care one bit about their tenants — only the money coming in every month. The properties are falling apart, repairs are constantly ignored, and the excuses are endless. You chase and chase, and nothing ever gets done. But when it comes to raising rent or service charges? Oh, suddenly they move fast.

What exactly are we paying for? Because it’s clearly not maintenance, cleanliness, or even basic decency. It’s a joke — and not a funny one. Tenants are living with damp, leaks, broken fixtures, and total neglect while Platform Housing sits back collecting their cash.

It’s disgusting how quick they are to demand more money, yet how slow they are to do the bare minimum. If they actually cared about their residents, half of these problems wouldn’t exist. Shame on them for treating people like this.

Platform have increased the service charges to an extent that I have to wonder if its worth it. I have a 2 bed flat (in block of 4)and no communal areas, so we don't actually cost them a lot. I suspect they are now advertising our costs within a larger portfolio of properties who do drain money. So we are now subsidising other properties. Trying to speak with them is like speaking to a brick wall

I reported my neighbor for antisocial behavior loud music harassment it's been going on for over 2 years and then he ends up stabbing his mate and platform still don't do nothing about it and they are considering if there's no charges letting him move back in as he's removed on remand

Platform do not return phone calls or respond to emails without chasing on numerous occasions. They don't do repairs or maintenance unless you make a formal complaint. When they finally do any work, they increase the service charge to cover the cost. Cleaning of communal areas happens infrequently even though it's supposed to be monthly. When the cleaners do turn up, they don't vacuum or pick up any dirt. Employees clearly don't have any pride in their jobs or they'd be more helpful and efficient rather than just making excuses. Platform, you're a disgrace.

My toilet has been leaking for months. I have been awaiting a call/email for months in regards to a new bathroom being fitted and I keep going round in circles. Being told I will receive a call within 3-5 days and not receiving anything. I have phoned several times and spoken to several different people with no answer. I just need a simple yes or not answer as I was told I need this before the flooring can be fitted. Very unprofessional and the lady I recently spoke to over the phone today wasn’t polite.

I have been harrased during the night by our next door neighbours who are platform housing tenants.

KERRI the housing officer is a complete corrupt scumbag.

We have sent clear evidence we have been recording at night and have captured the asb.

KERRI is saying she can't hear the clear disturbance and noise. And then me waking up in a panic.

What an absolute crook. I hung up on the mouthy so and so.

And logged a complaint instantly.

Absolutely disgraceful woman.

Wish i had never rented of this company,18 years of having a mentally unstable neighbour constantly bothers me,he is always on his todd,always miserable.Hates me quitely watching tv,talking,anything normal,waits up for me to go too bed,waits up for me to come home at night,and dont get me started on what he is like when i have a woman living with me!?Now platform housing have started to badger me for rent a week after just having their rent.And now they are trying to charge me £40 a month in advance for building? Is that even legal? If i can help anybody to advoid the experience ive had,i am only too happy to help.Oh what else they put junkies and thieves next to vunerable people and mentally unstable next door to normal people.All they care about is their greed.

Money hoarding, greedy slumlords. Imagine paying £55 service charge monthly, and then they don't even cut your side of the communal area for over a year !!!? And it actually took months of complaints eventually !! Everything goes up !! Service goes down. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone !!

These people are useless I cannot stand the belittling attitude from the staff. I have PTSD and they have gone as far as threatening to kick me out over not being in while I am currently trying to get psychiatric help. These people are a joke. I'm keeping it clean but want to be so rude like them. They treat you like rubbish belittle you say they understand your condition and don't. I don't see how they are still in business. It was a mistake renting from this company.

Won’t help single mum to cut back massive tree. I have never had allergies so bad. I’m infested with greenfly and pigeons are bombarding everything my gutters are constantly full even after cleaning so the drainage doesn’t work properly I painted and tidied my garden painted all over the pigeon mess and one week later everything I had painted my woodwork in the garden is all plasters I. Pigeon mess and there are rats the drains stinks. All my things are distorted by the mess. I have awful skin reactions I can’t open my windows because of all the bug bitting us. I clean daily outside just to have to do it again the next day why would I pay rent to constantly be dodging pigeon shit. I’ve had to get rid of my garage. Stuff as I can’t even sit out in the summer. They expect me to pay for a tree Surgeon and fix the hole border fence that is falling down without the income to pay for what I do not own. But still raise my rent then they sort the other tree on the street but not the one in their backyard that I pay rent for. They don’t even clean the front. Been asking for 8 years sent photos as they asked. Officer came and looked. I hadn’t get rid of all the branches that comedown all year the bins don’t get emptied in winter they just just leave me with all the mess some of the dead are massive and fall everywhere they say it’s not dangerous try having branches falling on you when your just trying to tidy it up. I’m in a problem I can never resolve or afford to sort out and the tree is massive and has large branches going over my house and crapping all over my neighbors now to. All by out back door steps are covered in it. No one is bothering to help. Platform just do not care about their tenants they just take the money. If if someone part owns their home it’s their responsibility but I completely rent. It says in my tenancy I’m to keep the garden tidy. How I do it daily it’s still a mess I can’t prune a tree that is bigger that the house underneath it I can’t reach the branches. Housing officer couldn’t care any less. Why ask me to send pick come out then do nothing.

They're terrible!
For the last 9 years I've been reporting my back door faults. It leaks during rain, it's drafty and now I'm told it's rotten through. And by the way, I'm immune compromised.
They claim I've NEVER put in a repair request or complaint about it. It's just not true. They've deleted all my repair requests from my online account.
They also give out repair dates. Only they don't tell you about them, just make them appear on the online portal and then they never show up. I'm glad I've got a ring camera so I can prove that they don't show up.
My windows have needed replacing since last year, and it's still not done.
They don't take antisocial behaviour seriously either. 11 years my neighbour has been blasting out music and slamming on the walls! The other set of neighbours have parked across my driveway (against the highway code and illegal) yet I got called "petty" by the housing officer!
Not once have they given a damn.
Awful people hired by an evil company.

They just keep on raking in the cash but don't care about tenants needs. I'm fed up with being fobbed off. Awful communication. I'm starting to wonder if the only way to get their attention would be to withhold rent.

I am very pleased with Platform Housing. Chanda has been incredibly professional, supportive, and effective throughout the process. The entire team has shown great professionalism, understanding, and care. Communication has been clear and consistent, making the experience smooth and stress-free. They have provided plenty of support and have been accessible whenever needed. I truly appreciate the help and guidance we’ve received. Thank you for such excellent service!
