Wheel is out of true out of the box.
The WheelMaster MT-2000 front wheel on a Weinmann XM280 rim arrived out of true straight out of the box. A new wheel should arrive properly trued and ready for installation, so receiving one that needs correction before use is disappointing.
The packaging had no visible damage. That does not completely rule out damage during shipping, but it suggests the wheel may have been shipped in this condition. At minimum, this raises concerns about quality control and inspection before dispatch.
I now have to deal with getting a brand-new wheel trued or arranging a return, adding time, inconvenience, and potentially extra expense to the purchase. I expected better from a new wheel purchased through Planet Cyclery.
Based on the condition of the wheel I received, I cannot recommend this purchase. More careful inspection before shipping would have prevented this experience.

The helmet I ordered was missing a pad…
The helmet I ordered was missing a pad inside helmet. They can not replace the missing pad and said they will issue refund. I need the helmet and is an older model. So I have to try to find a replacement pad then send a invoice to Planet Cyclery to get refunded for pad. What a hassle. I won’t be using this company again.

Unaffordable Return Shipping
I purchased two helmets for my children. They were youth helmets. I measured their heads before purchasing. The circumference fit as I expected. However, the helmet depth was too shallow so they sat to high. The shipping back to Planet Cyclery is unaffordable. They charged me $25. Almost the cost of one of the helmets.

No loyalty incentive
I got some great deals before during and after the Cambria "merger." I spent several grand at both sites in recent years, but shortly after buying an unusual Bosch-equipped ebike on steep discount, they lowered its price by about $400.
I had also purchased a Levo from Performance Bike that went down a few hundred bucks a week later, and they gave me store credit in that amount.
Neither Cambria nor Planet Cyclery responded to my emails requesting similar treatment, so my cycling habit's needs will henceforth be met elsewhere.
