My husband and I have been taking Pilates lessons with Clara as a couple since spring 2023, and we couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Clara is professional, experienced and knowledgeable, and it shows in every session. What sets her apart is her ability to tailor each lesson to both of us at the same time. We each have different strengths, needs and goals, and she adapts exercises so we both get the right level of challenge and support, while still working together as a pair.
Her instruction is clear and attentive, her corrections are precise, and she always keeps us progressing. After more than three years, we still look forward to our sessions and feel the benefits in how we move day to day.

Clara is an exceptionally skilled and versatile Pilates instructor. This was put to the test a year ago when I had a full hip replacement. As soon as I was able, I wanted to return to Pilates and Clara made time to provide one-to-one instruction for me. During the first few weeks, I had to be particularly careful, and she was patient and attentive throughout. Clara carefully adapted each session to my changing abilities, selecting exercises that helped me regain movement without placing unnecessary strain on my recovering hip. At the same time, she helped me maintain flexibility and strength in my other limbs so that I could continue working towards my usual fitness levels.

Each week, Clara created tailored exercises and movements based on my progress. I practised them between sessions, and we gradually increased the level of challenge as my recovery continued. My general fitness returned within a relatively short time and this was proved when my consultant said he was exceptionally pleased with my progress. Clara’s guidance and encouragement played an important part in my recovery and I am truly grateful for her support.

Clara is such a wonderful teacher. Pilates made personal is the perfect way to describe her approach, which is tailored to the person or people she is teaching, with fantastic attention to detail and care to ensure everyone gets the most from her expertise and experience. She is incredibly knowledgeable and gives brilliant instructions and assists to ensure you get the most from your time with her. I come out always feels so much better than when I walked in!

Clara's 1-1 Pilates sessions are absolutely fantastic - she brings a great blend of precision, tailoring the session to your needs, and making sure you have everything you need to help your body evolve or recover from where it is. She is brilliant to work with and every session is a joy even when I am being challenged!
