Absolute terrible aftercare
Absolute terrible aftercare the dog flap wasn't sealed correctly and after a while started slowly building with water which slowly turned green after I contacted them we sent photos, emailed and phoned but absolutely nothing from their end.
It was fitted incorrectly and we are nearly a thousand pounds down on a dog flap!!!!!!!

Even if a review is poor we feel it is fair that our customers and potential customers are given opportunity to hear of other customers experiences. Our follow up communication to you has been poor and we hold our hands up, mistakes were made. Like many trades we provide a full year's warranty on workmanship but, as is the case here, issues were reported to us well past that year. Nevertheless we still value providing good follow-up service on installations and I have today personally spoken with Mick who installed the dog door and he will attend to examine the installation and attend to whatever may need to be done. Although Trustpilot should not be considered as a forum for debate, for the benefit of other customers I feel it just and fair to point out that the quoted figure of 'nearly a thousand pounds' is more than double that charged for the job. Mick will be out as soon as he can as re-application of silicone is not practical on a rainy day. Kind regards. John Carolan, Director.
Great service fit into wooden door
Great service pet flat arrived within a few days & the right size. Terry fitted it the following week. Wasn’t a straight forward fit into a wooden door but he done a great job, looks good & no mess. Thank you very happy with it.

Disappointing experience with Pet Flaps UK & Sure Petcare.
I recently had a SureFlap Catflap Connect installed and found it to be defective. I did not buy the product direct from the manufacturer, I bought it from Pet Flaps UK. The 'customer service' from the manufacturer, Sure Petcare, has been truly awful. They have put the onus on me to not only test the product but actually film myself doing it and send the footage back to them. Only after I posted a negative review on TrustPilot did the owner of Pet Flaps UK fit a new one. Unfortunately, the replacement unit was also faulty but Sure Petcare replaced it directly themselves and told me to discard the faulty unit. I fitted the new unit myself and it is now working so it was third time lucky! To my utter astonishment, even though I'm paying monthly for the product and the installation, the owner of Pet Flaps UK wanted to come to my home to retrieve the faulty flap so he could claim a refund from Sure Petcare even though Sure Petcare replaced it themselves without charge. Either he's a bit slow or he thinks I am! If I'm being honest, I'd never use either company ever again!

We encourage our customers to register for 3 year's customer support with SureFlap and this their policy as they wish to maintain direct relationships with users of their products and for customers to avail themselves of SureFlap's excellent customer support. In the event of a device being found to be faulty we of course attend to install a replacement. At the time of today's reply here it has not been established if in fact the device is faulty or if there maybe user error. SureFlap have, we understand, promptly despatched direct to customer a test kit and if the device is found to be faulty then we shall promptly send an engineer to replace it. We are SureFlap's nationally approved installer and find their products be be of excellent quality. On the occasions we have feedback from customers soon after installation that their device is faulty we, in line with SureFlap's policy, recommend that our customer registers the serial number of the device direct with SureFlap to to access their 3 year warranty and at the same time their technical support staff may be able to diagnose whatever may be at fault over the telephone, or, in the case of Connect products over the Internet. It has been our experience that on the vast majority of occasions the fault has been user error and SureFlap's support staff have been able to resolve issues much quicker than our customer waiting for a return visit by one of our installers. In this customer's circumstance we look forward to the results from the test kit to determine if the device is faulty and needs to be replaced and if that is the case we will arrange the installation of the replacement with courtesy and good grace. For the benefit of readers of this review and reply we point out that whenever we have a customer report of a microchip activated device not functioning properly we offer immediate courteous, helpful and practical advice on how to put the device into simple mode of the pet being able to push open the flap without microchip activation while a solution is found for whatever fault may exist. On this occasion I took the customer's telephone call myself and offered such advice in order to maintain our high standards of customer service. John Carolan, Director and Owner.

Prompt and efficient service. I ordered a microchipped cat flap which was delivered and installed into a wall with no bother within 10 days. Jimmy the fitter did an excellent job. They refunded 2 unused tunnel sections.

Delighted with how easily Terry fitted our cat flap through a challenging wall. There was no mess, it was neatly finished and he was a very friendly, approachable guy. He exceeded our very high standards and even more importantly the cat started using it within the hour already even though she had never had one before!
