What an utterly wonderful place. I haven’t even made a purchase yet and they’ve already gone way beyond expectations.

I certainly didn’t have an impressive budget but I made an enquiry anyway. I was hoping, at most, that they’d direct me to a more realistic item in their stock or tell me my budget just wouldn’t work.

Instead, I received a thoughtful message, no judgement, with links to trustworthy sellers and tips on what to look for.

They even followed up with some extra little hints and tips and really, it was just done with such kindness.

Whilst in London with my wife I was searching for a rare book on Falconry. I contacted Peter Harringtons store on Dover street and spoke with Andrew who was able to locate just what I was wanting. A short time later we took a taxi from our hotel to the store. Lovely, just a brilliant store with so many fine and rare books. Andrew and his staff were truly outstanding and we spent an hour browsing and chatting. I had no problem choosing two fantastic pieces for my library. Cannot recommend enough, wonderful.
