I have gained a little weight to be Sure
I have gained a little weight to be sure. Your new size 36 were a very tight fit at the first try. I have three more same size bought over past few years. all are snug but fit on first try. I know the expansion is supposed to cover added inches, but latest pairs simply did not. A size 37 would be good. I would find a 38 with the expansion much too big. So, it seems I must buy LL Bean. They are not as fine in material or finish but they fiot.

Good Afternoon
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us.
Please accept our apologies, your usual size 36 didn’t fit as expected on this occasion, particularly as you’ve had
experience with the same size in the past.
We understand how frustrating it is when sizing feels inconsistent, especially with extendable waist styles where the fit can vary slightly depending on the cut or fabric.
Your comments are very helpful and will be shared with our Merchandise Department to review sizing consistency across different batches and styles.
We appreciate your feedback and are sorry to hear you may look elsewhere.
If you would like any assistance in finding a more suitable fit, our customer service team would be very happy to help, we would very much like to restore your confidence in our products.
Kind Regards
Customer Care Team

The product is wonderful
The product is wonderful. Great material, great fit great workmanship. I did not like paying $30 to return a pair of pants. The material on the blue pair was so much better than the black. I’m blue was superior and I would buy that material again and again.

I’m a loyal customer now!
As usual trousers and shirt were a perfect fit, nice fabrics and exquisite tailoring. The green shade of the pants is striking! It’s the second time I have bought them, in different colors. And delivery from England to Los Angeles was prompt.
