Great experience!
Travelling always on time, pick-up very confortable, constante communication and the possibility to always reach out for assistance, either to bus guides (all brilliant!) or via Whatsapp to PeruHop. The experience overall is a perfect balance between organized trip and solo-travelling in autonomy, so much more than just transport!
Advice on activities at destination is food and guides are well prepared also in cultural anectodes

My wife and I are retired, slow world travelers. Peru Hop and Bolivia Hop appeared to be a good way to see a lot of Peru and a bit of Bolivia semi-independently and not with a large group of people. Peru Hop and Bolivia Hop have exceeded our expectations. We have started and stopped as we wanted, e.g., 2 nights in Paracas, 5 nights in Arequipa, 4 nights in La Paz. The optional add-ons have been great. Animal life in Paracas, thrills in the Huacachina Oasis, the homestay in the Puno area.
The guides/Hop Hosts have been great. We especially appreciated the work of Bo (Boris), Moni and Gabriel. Their English was fluent and their ability to manage the groups made this ex-teacher proud. They answered all of our questions and gave is ideas on other things to see and do along the way. On the admin/customer service side, Jacquline answered all of our questions and helped us several times change reservations for accomodations.

Excellent experience with Peru Hop team. Our guide told us we were his 5th tour group and I was surprised he felt like had been doing this for years. Friendly and welcoming everything was planned and communicated to the group in advance. The reservation team was very helpful and attentive to all my needs.

Great experience
The service in total was very reliable and friendly. Having constant contacts throughout the country was very helpful and reassuring for us. To be able to book several activities with Peru Hop and as well with other companies it self organized things was nice. We never felt pressured. It seems like you support local businesses which we liked very much. It is surely not the main opinion but I would liked it, if there were more activities based on museums and Dialogs with local people.

Perfect way to explore Peru
Peru Hop provided an excellent service, enabling people to explore Peru safely and conveniently. The guides were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and would go to great effort to ensure my journey from Lima to Cusco was as great as it could be. A big shout-out to Jose, Aldo, Raúl, and Julio Caeser!
The only thing I didn't quite like was the hotel that was used as a stop in Puno, on the way from Arequipa to Cusco. The bathrooms were not very clean and you had to pay for toilet paper (understandable if the bathrooms are rural, but this was in the centre of Puno). The bag storage could only be opened between certain times, either right after the Lake Titicaca tour, or just before leaving for the bus to Cusco, which made preparing for the overnight bus a bit awkward. And whilst the Lake Titicaca tour is not operated by Peru Hop, I was not overly pleased with the Lake Titicaca tour operators we booked through Peru Hop. The guide for our tour of Lake Titicaca was early by 10 mins and we felt rushed to start the tour despite being told to be ready for 15:20; people needed the bathroom, and to make up their small going-out bags. We were taken to the harbour in a small car and our guide just walked off ahead with very little communication. As we approached the harbour, harbour staff told us to "hurry up". It's quite hard for foreigners to keep up considering the vast increase in altitude. I felt particularly breathless. And what do they expect us to do? Run after our tour guide? Everything felt rushed and it did not feel like we mattered; we were just to be shoved onto the boat as soon as possible.
Overall, I have loved using Peru Hop and I would recommend it in a heartbeat to anyone desiring to see Peru conveniently and safely. However, I would urge Peru Hop to review their relationship with the Puno Hotel and work on improving the travellers experience there, as well as with the tour operators of the Lake Titicaca tour.

The precision timing and organisation of the day was fantastic and the Peru hop buses are excellent! We slept most of the journey very comfortably in the reclining seats.

This is not your usual bus ride
In your usual bus ride, you need to find bus stations, connections, and at the end point you have to worry how to get to the accommodation. Peru Hop made it easy. They picked me up, take care the connection, helped us to pass border crossings, and dropped me off at my hostel at La Paz. Great service! The bus had strong WIFI. Thank you!!!

Peru Hop - I would use them again!
I am not even sure where to begin!
It simply made our trip everything we hoped it could be. It is such a clever idea, but on top of it, they value the local Peruvians in each area. We were able to see all the places we wanted to and more!! And although we were a couple, solo travellers will feel so safe using this company.
The staff are everything! Luis was our first exceptional host - my goodness he was so welcoming and attentive!! The following hosts were wonderful too- Raul and Jose.
They stay connected with you all the way and answer very quickly if you are worried. It’s highly organised!
We decided to also use all the travel companies recommended by Peru Hop and that paid off!
I cannot recommend them enough!!!

Overall, the experience was excellent, with the main concerns relating to the dining arrangements. Several of the restaurants offered buffet-style meals, which may not be ideal for travelers who are feeling unwell or prefer smaller portions. Despite this, we were required to pay the full buffet price regardless of how much we consumed.
On one occasion, our 6-year-old child was charged the same rate as an adult, even though they ate only a few chicken fingers. Offering discounted prices for young children or providing à la carte alternatives would be a more reasonable approach.
We also experienced a three-hour delay due to adverse weather conditions and road construction. Although the delay was inconvenient, Peru Hop and our guide made every effort to assist us and manage the situation as effectively as possible. It was clear that they were doing their best under difficult circumstances.
Aside from the dining arrangements, pricing, and delay, the overall experience was very positive. All of the guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, and they played an important role in making the trip enjoyable.

We had 3 different guides and all of them were friendly, informative, and helpful. Raul was my personal savior for getting a truly last minute itinerary change done with no fuss (seriously, this made my trip SO much better). There was one instance where we had to switch busses for another group to begin their journey which was a little detour, but they apologized profusely and I honestly appreciate that this company is run with human integrity guiding the decisions. Overall a very easy, flexible process with a kind and helpful team running things.

Everything is well planned and on time. Guides are great and helpful, communication is good, and the buses are comfortable. However, I don't recommend taking one-day tours in Colca Canyon because it's too rushed. Instead, I would take a 2 or 3-day tour to enjoy it..

Best way to travel south along the coast and then to Arequipa
Even before booking the team was very helpfull, giving personalized advice via WhatsApp. Absolutely everything was as scheduled. The buses are very comfortable and new, with stable good speed wifi. On the night trip there were cosy clean blankets to keep warm. The host, in my case Luis, did an excelent job, was very friendly and well organized and had everything under control. The only thing I found confusing was the option to prebook activities through Peruhop, where you cannot select the date. It would have been easier to do it in advance straight through the link we got on the bus. I can highly recomend!

This tour was absolutely amzinggg, from start to finish. Our guide George really outdid himself. He was friendly, kind, very kind and his transition from Spanish to English was seamless. We didnt feel like we were left out of anything. Our favourite was Huacachina...crazy, beautiful. Everything was well put together and this was money well spent. Will definitely be recommending to friends of mine.
