50 Peckish fat balls cost £9 at Sainsbury's; I bought them because there were none of the Sainsbury's £7 brand boxes. The balls appear to be very slightly smaller AND there were only 49 in the box.... Näytä lisää

We are nuts about nature, and powered by our enthusiasm, we use the joy of feeding birds to spread our passion far and wide. Everything we do is about helping you get closer to nature, both through bringing the beauty of birds to your garden, and by doing it with what's best for nature at its heart. We strive to ensure that the wild birds in our gardens are kept healthy and happy. We know that feeding birds is more than just putting some seeds out in a feeder or on a bird table, it's about providing a nutritious diet that supports their overall well-being. But what really sets us apart is the love and care that goes into each bag of our bird food. We use only the finest, freshest ingredients and carefully mix them to create blends that are irresistible to birds. We believe in products that are naturally good both inside and out! So, whether you're looking to attract small colourful birds or larger varieties we've got you covered.

I purchased three all waeather feeders
I purchased three all waeather feeders; Peckish All Weather Seed Feeder, Peckish All Weather Suet & Peanut Feeder and Peckish All Weather Energy Ball Feeder. Quite expensive but they appear to be well made. So i have high expectations

Birds hate it
I've tried enough of the Peckish stuff to know that it's simply awful quality. So bad in fact that the birds simply pick at it and leave the vast majority of what I put out for me to clean up and throw in the bin. Even the wood pigeon won't eat it and it usually eats anything and everything. Says it all.
The other feeder that doesn't have Peckish product in it is absolutely FULL of birds. The Peckish filled one is sitting there completely ignored.
As someone who has tried this brand, take my advice, don't bother. You're literally going to pay for stuff you need to throw away. Do like I will be doing from now on and avoid this brand.

The worst fatballs I've EVER purchased
The worst fatballs Ive EVER purchased. I add them to feeders every few days as (with other brands) they are loved by local birdlife...with these they have been on 2 weeks and have been grazed and left alone.
Other brands stock these in clear plastic tubs, I thought a cardboard container was more sustainable - as soon as I opened the box I think I see why they might want to hide whats inside.
Its clearly to hide the low quality of the ingredients.
The packaging shows images of fatballs with a high volume of black sunflower seeds expected in a premium product and loved by wildlife... open the box and you can see that is not the reality, very low number of seeds visible and mostly filler.
Will not purchase again and do not recommend.
