Have called to speak to service dept on…
Have called to speak to service dept on three separate occasions, and on each have been told service department to busy to take call, but promised a call back, which has never been forthcoming. Would have expected better service after spending so much money with them. Will now use a different dealer and service centre.
Con men and a rip off, stir clear!!!
Took my vehicle to the Stourbridge branch, for a recall (free) and according to them free included health check.....asked if they could look at the gearbox as I had some concerns. Came out with a £50 pound bill for a computer diagnostic I never asked for, or had I been asked permission to perform. Had to confirm myself if the recall had been sorted, and I have serious doubts. Haven't seen a breakdown of the health check they supposedly performed, and had no answer for the blessed gearbox. And yes, if I wanted to be told let's start with the transmission fluid, my husband already told me that much, in the same exact words, no need to pay you £50 to repeat it!!!

An amazing , the best UK Volvo Dealership
Wow is all I can say, if anyone is looking for a Volvo in the UK , I would say contact Paul Rigby Volvo. Paul runs a superb business and his staff are so accommodating and professional. I in-fact just spoke with Sally and her mannerism/professionalism was 2nd to none. 10/10
Poor communication
Ordered a new car in May this year. The price was very good and Aribah tried hard to find me a car in stock or in the pipeline for fast delivery. Unfortunately no cars were available so it meant a factory order. Placed the order and paid a deposit with delivery scheduled for July. This is where things started to go wrong. July delivery was missed, as was September and October, the car finally arriving late November.
Whilst I understand that there is a world wide shortage of computer chips which delayed supply, what was inexcusable was the extremely poor communication. I had to phone them as each delivery date approached, calling numerous times to speak to someone. They never contacted me despite promising to do so on many occasions.
They even omitted to contact me when the car arrived at the dealership, leaving it to me to chase them yet again.
After taking delivery I had an issue with an accessory I had pre-ordered and they were very unhelpful when trying to exchange it giving me highly misleading information (in writing) Rectifying their error cost me considerable time and expense and no apology nor recompense have been offered.
Overall I am very happy with car despite the poor service.
What happened to customer service?
Arrange a viewing of a vehicle traveled an hour and quarter only to find on arrival at the dealership the vehicle had been sold. A round trip of 78 miles

Aribah Munir has been amazing! Very almost went to VW but she managed to beat their already amazing deal with an even better one. Excellent service, so quick and easy to do. She exceeded all expectation!

If I could give 10 stars I would. For very professional service paul Rigby stourbridge branch. Service booked in car been collected and delivered back email confirmation, a nice telephone call these guys go the extra mile to deliver the best possible service

Usually great, but marred by muddy marks on mats and seats due to building work and the very wet day. I’m sure things will be back to the usual excellent standards next time.

Never like to leave a negative review but I guess you won’t learn good service if you’re not told.
I purchased a v90 from this dealer back in 2020. The car is lovely and very well presented when we picked it up. Sales guy as you would expect were attentive on the day.
We were told, before leaving, they would get back in touch in a couple of days just to check everything was ok. Bit of a courtesy call. Never heard from them again. Felt like as soon as you had my money, I didn’t matter.
Both of the keyless fobs were faulty so had countless problems trying to lock and even unlock the car. Hugely frustrating when you’ve just bought a new car and you can’t even get into it!
Needed my local Volvo dealer to diagnose that batteries in both of the fobs were flat and even charged me for replacement batteries. Less than impressed. Had hoped for better from a brand trying to be prestigious.

Was due a mot & service and I was not feeling too well so phoned the excellent reception
And for a small fee came and took my car for above items of service and volvo returned my car at end of day can't fault the service of volvo excellent

My only gripe is the price. MOT's are cheeper elsewhere, also the battery in the key fob was low, which they changed and charged £6, When checked how to do it myself, found it was a standard size battery that costs less than £1

So ending up outside for over an hour walking in circles
also no coffee machine that I used to love to drink when I wait
Apart from all that it was alright
Oh and other things I didn't receive
I normally get 12 months free Recovery service after servicing car
Maybe volvo stopped doing it anymore
