An absolutely terrible product. Tried it twice and found them disgusting. A few friends said the same. I will never buy this rubbish again. Should be withdrawn from all shops.

What a mess this curry sauce, wouldn’t even call it a curry sauce, it tasted like a sweet tomato sauce absolutely disgusting never again!

I have been using your pastes for a very long time. I always thought it as good alternative to eating out in a good restaurant, I've recommended you to very many people. However, the last few times we all have used them as a family separatey we have noticed a definite change. And unfortunately we won't be buying them again any time soon, they taste very grainy and sharp bitter and not anything like what you sell them as,Most DEFINITELY Not curry tasting. So for now unless you improve and STOP doing whatever it is you're doing to destroy the PATAKS name, We won't be buying or recommended you again EVER.

Tried for the first time today due to quickness and easy meal
Had the korma sauce. It tasted very tinny/metallic like it come from a tin

Pataks veg biriani the most discusting awful stuff I have ever tasted avoid at all cost

Me and the wife both had a pataks chicken korma ready meal we thought it would be a good curry as they are supposed to be authentic Indian curries. But what a mistake the korma had no taste the only way I can describe it is a 99p Iceland frozen curry. After eating it we both felt ill felling sick and unwell. I think that the food standards agency should look into this company if there food is making people sick.

I had Pataks Korma Curry on my chicken & ended up feeling shaky & vomiting for hours thought it would never stop. Still have stomach pains the following morning!! I will Never eat anything made by Pataks again. DISGUSTING

Been buying the madras kits for a while and they used to taste so good.

Recently they had been hit and miss some good some utter shite.

Now currently they are fully shite. No taste or real smell other than spoiled tomatoes smell and generally not worth the packaging they put it in.

I'v had better flavour from an asda owm brand 42p jar in fair respect.

2 months ago I contacted pataks over beef madras there was one piece of beef in it the rest was shredded beef nothing like the pictures on the box, and I’m still waiting for them to get back to me over this matter, the beef madras from Iceland is a far better quality so it’s Iceland for me from now on , pataks is such a big company they don’t bother about the man in the street.

It is ages since I used a curry sauce, used to use Nazir's but it is no longer available. Just tried the Patak's Rogan Josh for the first time. It was disgusting. Didn't taste of curry just a thick floury liquid flavoured with a lot of white pepper. What a waste, won't be using their products again!

Would give zero stars if I could. Tastes awful.

I used to make the most amazing curry with pataks curry paste, however they've changed their recipe and now the last three I've cooked have tasted awful, bitter and salty, why why why have you changed your recipe, it's ruined.

OMG THE AROMA THE TASTE THE SPICE JUST WOW!!!

I cooked the chicken korma recipe tonight exactly to the instructions on the packaging. But it was swimming with oil once cooked, so much so that I used 4 sheets of kitchen towel to soak it up. It still tasted oily afterwards. I couldn't tell what kind of curry it was supposed to be either so I won't be using the 2nd paste pot in the pack and definitely won't be using Pataks again. Shame really as they used to be good.

We always love the rogan Josh sauce from pataks and have it often but the one we had tonight was awful
The recipe was not the same
The colour was different and all it tasted of was a hotter but seriously bland sauce
You have definitely took out the bit that makes it unique
That lovely taste has gone
If you’ve changed the recipe it does not work
Trust me
Why change what we all love?????

I must say that, over the years I have tried out patak cook in sauce curries and followed cooking instructions to the latter.
Recently the TV has been advertising the product quite a lot, saying how the recipes have been passed down through many generations etc.
I still think it’s absolute rubbish, and for my family inedible.

J’ai vu une émission à la télévision et « l’héritière » parlait des produits certes industriels mais cuisinés selon les recettes de l’arrière-grand-mère qui les préparait dans sa petite cuisine.
Pauvre arrière-grand-mère ! elle doit se retourner dans sa tombe comme nos estomacs !
Premier contact quand j'ouvre la boite, beurk! tout gélatineux, vraiment pas engageant !!!
Bon on va tout de même essayer. !!! je n’aurais pas dû.

Patak's naan breads, Don't bother dry no taste cardboard comes to mind brought a 2 pack to go with our homemade curry save your money try something else.

Just tried vegitable biriani. Absolutely terrible. Just a bowl of mess. Only fit for the rubbish bin. Don’t ever buy it. I feel sick!!
