Recipe Kits by Pasta Evangelists Arvostelua 

I really don’t like leaving negative reviews but I had a recipe kit delivered this evening. The ‘cooling’ gels are warm and the food also feels warm. There is no hint of it feeling chilled so I have no option but to discard the lot. What a waste of food for the sake of poor packaging and slow delivery.

Everything totally unacceptable, still haven’t got my food and no comms even after reaching out. Don’t answer phones or emails

This was the first time we visited this restaurant. We arrived on time, however our table was not ready, these things happen so wasn't too stressed about this. We were told to wait by the bar. No one came over to ask us if we wanted drinks. We were there 10 mins or so. The table was cleared and then we were asked to go to the table. It was at least another 10 mins before a waitress came over to us. After taking our order, we were not asked if we wanted any more drinks. The service just lacked lustre. I would like to say the food was great. Very delicious. When we asked for the bill. We were told they don't take cash. However when we went to pay the machines wouldn't put through the transaction. So again we waited for another 10 mins or so. We paid the service charge because that's what you do. But on hindsight we should not have. I was not happy when we left. Not sure I would go back again, because of the service .

I have had orders delivered that were missing half the items twice now. Trying to get the company to sort this out is nigh impossible. I will never use them again. After sending an email tonight ask where my replacement missing order was they sent me a request for feedback with five attachments which I can’t download. To say I’m annoyed is an understatement. Avoid !!

My daughter and son and I had such a fun time with the wonderful Monica last night !! We loved making our own pasta and learning a lot about the history of pasta in 🇮🇹 Italy. Thank you Monica and thank you Pasta Evangelists!!

Review of Pasta Evangelists

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at Pasta Evangelists was beyond disappointing.
• Waiting Times: On multiple occasions I’ve had to wait over an hour for food to arrive. Even simple items took far too long, and a hot drink took more than 40 minutes to be served.
• Incorrect Orders: Dishes were repeatedly wrong, and when I raised this, instead of resolving the mistake I was essentially told I was lying. Being spoken to like this as a paying customer is unacceptable.
• Hygiene Concerns: On one occasion I even found hair in my food – something no customer should ever have to deal with.
• Customer Service: What shocked me most was the attitude. A woman behind the counter not only dismissed my concerns but openly called me a liar. This was directed not only at me, but I also witnessed similar treatment of other customers.

For a brand that markets itself on quality and authenticity, the reality couldn’t be further from the image. Long waits, poor hygiene, wrong dishes, and being insulted by staff make this one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

I won’t be returning, and I’d strongly suggest management take a serious look at the way both the food service and customer service are being handled.

No excuses for these issues as we could have easily been turned away at the door but they chose to seat us & take our orders knowing how big o ur party was

Incredible sauces & fresh meals (lasagne delicious )saves time in the kitchen & so fresh & tasty & delivered to your door!

I have been to my local branch a few times. I eat a lot of pasta in restaurants and I wanted to like it but this place is just not very good. The staff try hard but they appear to be very inexperienced and I don’t get the impression that the chef (if there is one) has any real connection with Italian food. The dishes I have had were poorly seasoned, bland and watery. The place also has no atmosphere.

I had a problem with the payment system and was double charged. After I discovered this I contacted their support and they quickly refunded the overpayment. I wish the product was as good as the support.

Out of a table of 4, 2 orders incorrect. 1 not even close. And while they debated what was wrong, two sat without cutlery. The completely wrong one was presented wrong again while eventually a completely fresh dish was cooked. Bill arrived with the now usual “discretionary “ service added but no deductions or comps? Just an odd experience in this age.

We had dinner at the Farringdon restaurant.

Positive: very fresh pasta and authentic sauce, delicious burrata, central location.

Negatives: you need to pay waiter to make the order and the card machine makes a large beep, as a result of which we needed to pay thrice during the meal and the restaurant sounded like a supermarket checkout; narrow menu (not more than pasta, missed green vegetables); pleasant but basic interior (cutlery in a pot, no tablecloth). The lasagne were lukewarm in the middle. Think of this as more a City lunch place and less a restaurant.

Ordered through Just Eat from the Edinburgh branch. Spent 2 hours having the delivery eta repeatedly pushed back before we were finally able to cancel the order. Allegedly, they had made up our order at least 90 mins before and were waiting for a driver to deliver it. No way to run a business. Just Eat was also a piece of sh*t and made the cancellation almost impossible.

Placed an order at the Edinburgh outlet which is 'delivery only' for some reason.
Placed the order at 5:32pm and received a notification at 5:34pm letting us know our food was now ready and waiting to be collected! What? Two minutes to make two pasta dishes, a garlic bread and a focaccia? Bollox, it's been precooked and just slung in the microwave!
When it arrived the garlic bread and focaccia were cold (we had to reheat them) and the pasta pieces in both pasta dishes were a mix of brick hard or soggy and overcooked and the sauces were bland at best.
We like to try new places and to support local businesses but what a waste of money this was. However, lesson learned. We definitely won't be ordering from them again or recommending them to anyone.

Worst pasta ever. They sent me wrong order and even when I tried to eat the wrong one it was so undercooked and aweful.I called and they wanted me to send picture by email!! Well i didnt want it for my next meal!! How can you check if its raw by picture,. Unbelievable. Never gonna order again

Ordered 2 beef ragu at £14 each in London. Pasta was ok but the sauce was pathetic. Had better in Tesco ready meals for £3.50.

Absolutely brilliant experience

Very disappointed, ordered for delivery several days in advance, got notified at midday on the day of delivery it wouldn’t be arriving, had to rush around to get something else. I won’t be ordering again!!!

Excellent afternoon. Chef was amazing and made the whole experience so much fun. We did the beginners course and I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting to learn the basics of pasta making. Bottomless prosecco too. Worth every penny.

The food is awful. Pasta is not fully cooked, taste like a TV dinner gone wrong.

Chef Rosie was fantastic! She really made the experience so much fun! Would definitely recommend the pasta making class in Farringdon :)
