This app makes losing weight in a slow and sustainable way so easy. It’s by far the best and easiest method I’ve ever used and have lost over 1 stone over the last 13 weeks. The podcasts, Facebook and WhatsApp support/communities are also really supportive and helpful. Recommend very highly

This app is the best ever app/diet I have ever done in my life, I’m 55 and have tried everything under the sun to lose weight and keep it off, it give you the flexibility of eating what ever you like without feeling guilty. Scott’s podcast help you do this also. Why nobody hasn’t thought or done this before it baffles me it so simple.

Fantastic weight loss app
After trying Myfitnesspal several times and always giving up after a few days (normally when I haven’t been able to track a meal that my wife made, or meal out) I didn’t see the point in tracking, and ultimately ended up putting on weight, and not being able to control it. After seeing an advert on Insta for ParrotPal, I decided to give it a go - mainly due to the skepticism that it couldn’t be that easy to track calories!! I opted for the 7 day trial, and after Day 1 I was in! I knew straight away this was the app for me, and over the last 7 days I have tracked food in every possible way; voice note, text, barcode scan, photo, whichever has been the most viable option for the day. We have eaten out - tracked, takeaway - tracked, home cooked meal - tracked. Plus the daily podcasts have helped with the motivation and the science behind what and why I’m doing this to hit my goals, its not about perfection, it’s just trying to do what you can, one day at a time!
Great app, highly recommended by me

Amazing app especially for on the go
I started using Parrot Pal in January 2024, after having my first baby in December 2023. I gradually began focusing on healthy eating again. Since then, I’ve managed to lose almost 3 stone with the help of the app. It's user-friendly, effective, and particularly convenient for a busy schedule as a mother. My perspective on calorie tracking has improved significantly because of it. I plan to continue my journey with ParrotPal. Amazing app!

When you start the free trial with the app Apple will email you with the trial details, link to manage and how to cancel/refund.
Make sure to go through those steps in this process as Apple manage trials & billing for us. As the app developers, we don't get access to their billing system to manage these matters.
Scam No Free Trial Charged Me Immediately
This guy stole my money. Offered a free 7 day trial and charged me immediately. I wanted to cancel by day 3 and he said I had to go to Apple for my refund. Well can't get through to Apple for help. Scam. I bought Carb Manager, much better graphics, more professional and user friendly. Keep away from ParrotPal

Apple said it was not eligible for a refund because the developer denied the refund. The developer said it was not eligible for a refund because Apple denied the refund ?!
-just a bunch of mumbo jumbo double talk and another example of greedy youngsters placing profits over people

The app interface is very similar to messaging apps, we do this on purpose as it's the main apps people use. So you send a text, voice message or picture to track your food.
And I completely understand how frustrating it is to hear that we “rejected” your refund request, especially when we have no way to do that. I want to clear up exactly what’s happening:
Apple handles every purchase and refund.
When you buy our app or any in-app content, Apple is the one who charges your card, holds your billing info, and ultimately issues any refunds. We never see your credit-card details, and we don’t have a button or dashboard where we can approve or deny your request.
Why it’s set up this way:
Apple acts as the “merchant of record” for all App Store sales. That means they take on all the work of collecting sales tax around the world, keeping up with payment-card security rules, fighting fraud, and handling chargebacks and disputes. It’s a huge operation, and they’ve centralized it so it stays consistent for everyone—developers and customers alike.
What you can do next:
Contact Apple Support (via chat or phone) and explain that you’ve been told the “developer” denied your refund, but developers don’t have that ability. They can escalate the case on their end.
Use the “Report a Problem” page (reportaproblem.apple.com). Find your purchase, click “Report a Problem” again, and include a note like, “I was informed the developer denied this refund, but I understand only Apple can approve refunds.”
I hope this clears it up but this is how the system works.

Claims to give a 7 day free trial. I was charged straight away for a year. I find the App too diffcult to use you have zero control over the foods etc you are adding. It defaults. Its not user friendly. I emailed them within 12 hours of my 7 day trial starting asking to cancel and refund and even after msgs on Instagram, Facebook, Email x 2 and the App store, I have received no response. THERE IS NO FREE TRIAL- THEY CHARGE STRAIGHT AWAY - CHECK OTHER ONE STAR REVIEWS STATING THE SAME THING. Then they do not respond to you! I want a refund as I NEVER received my 7 day free trial and I am STILL within my free trial period!!!!!
