WARNING

WARNING – Money Taken Without Authorisation

ParcelCompare confirmed my shipment price as £81.51 – full and final. Weeks later, they took an additional £134.82 from my account without warning or authorisation.

They claimed it was an extra charge from UPS. I contacted UPS directly and was told no additional charges were applied to my shipment.

The parcel actually weighed LESS than declared (39kg vs 42kg paid), so there was no under-declaration to justify any extra fee.

Customer service is practically non-existent. No working phone number. Live chat doesn’t function. Contact form doesn’t submit. Once they take your money, you’re on your own.

Taking funds after a completed transaction without consent is completely unacceptable. Extremely disappointing and very concerning experience.

Be very careful before using this company.

Two lost parcels sent to Poland

Two lost parcels sent to Poland, refuses to refund the cost of the items despite my providing a receipt for the original price of the goods. Demanding to see bank account details or ATM receipts. We paid extra for insurance and for first class delivery, so don’t waste your money. Unable to contact the company direct as even though contact. Umbers are advertised, none of them are active.
Unhelpful and rude customer service via email. Worst courrier service I have ever used.

Please Please Please DO NOT USE THIS…

Please Please Please DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It’s a SCAM! I shipped a parcel in December from the UK to Spain. Apparently my courier was Fed Ex. Someone showed up in a van and took my parcel (not a fed ex van but I thought… oh ok) I get notifications the next couple days that my parcel is in Spain, in Madrid (not where it’s meant to go but makes sense for international shipping I thought). A week goes by, no movement on the parcel. I get a message that they’re going to deliver it today. There was no delivery attempt made. I think… okay weird. Another week goes by, I get a message that my parcel is getting returned to me. No explanation given, I try to contact them.. oh of course, their “contact us” page says “Not Found”… Okay weird. My parcel shows up at my door. No new label, nothing has changed on this box. I assume it must be something to do with customs, I’m annoyed but whatever. OVER A MONTH GOES BY and they take £21 out of my account as a “returned package charge” I’m pissed off because I don’t really understand why I’m supposed to pay for it but okay I guess? A couple more weeks go by, they attempt to take £61.80 out of my account??? No explanation given?? I try to contact them via email, no reply. They try again to take £61.80 out of my account and send me a legal action email. I email them again (because there is no number) no reply. They have since tried to take that money out of my account 5 times with no explanation or reply to my emails (I’ve now emailed them 4 times). I’ve had to block them through my bank and report this company as scammers. They quoted me £28 to ship this smallish box and in total have tried to charge me £110 for a parcel that did not arrive at it’s intended address and to be honest I don’t think even left the country.
I would also like to add that I’ve had multiple emails threatening legal action. And 3 emails offering me a 20% discount if I pay the bill now (these were sent after multiple attempts to just take the money out of my account). Which… if this is for a payment I “owe them”seems super weird??? Seems like they can email you every other day but never reply to a complaint.

It's a scam people!!

It's a scam people!!! I have family overseas to whom l sent my parcel in December 2025. All good at first ,but then my family started receiving letters demanding pay. The weight of the parcel is much higher in the letter than in reality. Now they are threatened with legal action if not paid within 7 days. Tried to contact Parcel Compare but no success. Absolutely disgusting!

Due to unforseen circumstances the place are parcel was getting collected was closed due to a police incident.
Parcelcompare was no help whats so ever and request for a refund was met with deaf ears.
If I was to give advice avoid this site and go straight to the courier company itself

What an awful company

What an awful company, simply awful. An example of a faceless organisation with no accountability whatsoever. I booked a collection and delivery service with a specific time slot. The assigned courier was UPS and they were equally as awful. No pick up for two days in a row. I called UPS 3 times and they were useless. There was no way to contact this company other than an online chat bot piece of nonsense. Did that yesterday and nothing from them.

Don’t use these clowns unless you want to experience a circus!

AWFUL COMPANY I have tried via…

AWFUL COMPANY I have tried via Trustpilot and through formal complaint and via customer service to solve but no solution. I returned a parcel (dimensions and weight as printed on the box) and then over 1 month later, I was charged additional £200 - apparently weight was not correct but they have no evidence to prove. My hard earnt money has been stolen from me.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - customer services (Kevin) and (Jane) have done zero so help or return my money or provide any form of customer service - a sham of a company.

My complaint has now been 'closed' apparently with no resolution. Please refund money stolen from me - this is a basic request.

Booked fed ex (Denmark )delivery to be delivered by Wednesday 11 on the 12 the parcel all tracking stopped and I contacted parcel compare on the 13 via chat told somebody will contact
No body did contacted again on Monday nobody contacted me
I then contacted fed ex and they said somebody would contact me which they did
Today was told by parcel compare that parcel was missing and by fedex it was in their possession
Contacted by a tracer in parcel compare extremely passive aggressive and told that parcels go missing all the time
No a very nice person to deal with should not be in contact with customers if that is their attitude no help what so ever

Weeks after our UK inland item was delivered, we were hit with massive surcharges, demands and fees! Avoid at all costs. They know exactly how to scam unsuspecting customers. How this company has not been investigated for fraudulent practices is beyond belief.

No one knows where my parcel is and…

No one knows where my parcel is and after 3 weeks i have been shared a kid drawing almost of a proof of contact poa by this company. They didnt even known a third party was used to send my parcel instead of dpd. Absolutely useless! Dont waste your money!

Fraudsters - beware!

Do not use this company under any circumstances! I paid for a one off single return of a package with 'UPS' in December which was damaged in transit and never delivered. Three weeks later I started seeing a bogus, unauthorised and completely illegal WEEKLY recurring charge from them of £18 on my account. Luckily clocked it after two weeks - I had to cancel the subscription and replace all my bank cards. When I raised with them to complain for a refund, I had two weeks of back and forth emails saying their 'tech team would look into'. I believe this company is committing online fraud and needs to be shut down ASAP! Be warned!

Shocking customer service experience

Used the site to book a parcel delivery. Chose the EVRI option for a digital label. However, when my confirmation came through the label had to be printed. So within minutes I contacted parcelcompare to request a change to a digital label. Was told I would have to cancel the booking and incur a £6 cancellation fee then rebook. The original postage was £7. No options to speak to anyone, unable to email no telephone number. Just a chat option. So it would appear that by making it as difficult as possible to change a mistake they will charge an extortionate cancellation fee or just gave me the option of find a printer. Not easy when very few places or people have printers. So a word of caution to avoid this site and choose an alternative postage option. After all they are only pennies cheaper than royal mail. It was only my go to because the post office is not close by.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Inputted delivery details for international shipping. Took my payment then had additional forms to fill in. There was an error, so would not set up. Tried looking for support. No telephone or email. Just a chat bot or post. Chat bot is just a robot on repeat. No human to help. Cancelled deliver and was told 7 days for refund. 11 days later and no refund. Tried to chase but chat bot is useless. Says need to log a service ticket. No option to do this. Says to register on dashboard. No option to do this. Says to use ref number. Non was given! Took my money, no customer service and no refund. Scam alert!

Collection arranged for 12.02.26
Friend stayed in all day and no one came.
I chased and chased and platitude replies.
A label issue. I was directed to chase which I did. Nothing came. Except platitudes. No human contact. I spent 3 days on a simple courier service booking at a time of a family death. Stressful.
Eventually cancelled the courier and found another which cost me £180 as I had to get the parcel delivered on 14th latest.
APPALLING service.
I will be making a claim for the emergency courier cost too and expect the £99 returned immediately .
DO NOT USE . EVER.

What an absolute disgrace

What an absolute disgrace, never again.
That failed to deliver my parcel. The recipient claims that no attempts were made. They then charged me £18.62 x3 to return it to me.
They promised a refund which I have in writing but nothing has been received.
100% the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Avoid avoid avoid.

Sent a parcel from the UK to USA

Sent a parcel from the UK to USA. Was told it would be delivered 9th February. Well parcel is held at customs for 6 days. Up until this point it showed my details and shipping address, but as of today they have changed the shipping address to their London address, which has caused customs to hold the package as they now need a commercial invoice! How can they change the details? Why have they changed the details. And you can’t call them! Utter disgrace

Dishonest and Refused Insurance Claim…

Dishonest and Refused Insurance Claim Avoid. I sent a parcel to China in July using Parcel Compare and paid extra for insurance to cover loss or damage. The item I was returning had already cost me £50 in postage, so I wanted to make sure I was protected.

In August, the recipient confirmed they had not received the parcel. When I contacted Parcel Compare, they told me it was “stuck in customs.” However, the tracking clearly showed it had been out for delivery, so this explanation did not add up. I challenged them on this, but they refused to reimburse me under the insurance policy, repeating that it was in customs and claiming there was no way to retrieve it.

Shortly after my complaint, all tracking information disappeared from my account, which made the situation even more suspicious.

Six months later, the parcel was suddenly delivered back to my UK address. To make matters worse, Parcel Compare charged me £26 and took the money directly from my bank account without my permission.

I paid for insurance that was effectively useless, was given misleading information

Disappointing Service: No Support After Payment.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with ParcelCompare. After booking and paying, I never received the parcel labels. Attempts to contact them were infuriating—no phone number, just a robotic chat that led nowhere. When I asked for human help, they demanded a tracking number I never had. This lack of transparency—hiding behind barriers until after payment—is disgraceful. When companies sell services but fail to deliver any support, it’s unacceptable. I strongly advise avoiding ParcelCompare.
