They added an extra $29.95 service charge despite displaying an 'order complete message' on my tablet that did not include this charge. So much for the supposed free shipping. When I queried this charge, I got the same spiel as other reviewers that it was an 'eco charge' on small orders. I asked them to cancel the order but apparently it was too late. This 'eco charge' of $29.95 was never itemised on any screen that I saw. I thought I was spending $31.49 and that is what I approved. Adding extra charges after you have confirmed the order is theft.

The company charges an extra $45 on small orders. It's in the very fine print and is supposedly an eco-payment so they can get you to buy more. It's a total ripoff. Deal with this company at your peril.

This company is guilty of fraudulent behaviour. According to Under the Fair Trading Act 1986 and the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in New Zealand, businesses must ensure transparency in pricing and cannot impose hidden charges that mislead consumers.
Their hidden “eco” charge is illegal and I vehemently urge anybody who’s been scammed by these people to take formal action.

WORST COMPANY TO DEAL WITH FRAUD COMPANY was to refund me what they took after purchase last November saying I took subscription NOT TRUE AT ALL
they promised a refund on 30th January still hasn't been done after several emails about it which they dont answer

Absolute fraudsters. Going to have to change my card because these wankers keep charging me for stuff I haven’t bought. BE AWARE THEY ARE CROOKS!

If i could give zero stars i would. When i checked out I gave permission to charge my card $28 and bits as that is what it said at checkout. They have charged over $58 quoting an eco charge. Surely this is illegal as I only gave permission to charge $28? Total fraudsters and i will definitely not order from them again

These people are hands down fraudsters. They claim to have an office in Christchurch New Zealand, this is a commercial office block. Charged a " clean air " fee, yet they're based in China. They have tried to subsequently take funds from our account, but our bank was one step ahead of the bastards. You will rott in hell !!!

Ordered a small item, avoiding attempts to upgrade shipping, which was stated as free. At checkout my costs were $13.47. Gave my card and suddenly found myself being debited over $50, with the difference showing as $35+ 'service charges' which I had not approved

I contacted them within minutes cancel the order, but all I got was an explanation that this was an 'eco charge' on small orders. While there had been mention in the text there of an eco charge was never any indication of how much it would be, let alone nearly quadruple the cost. The charge is added after reviewing the order, you don't get to cancel before payment if you don't want to pay it

I ordered product for circa NZ$30 for delivery to new zealand and selected their free delivery option of 11 days as it wasn't urgent. The order summary showed an 'eco' charge plus special delivery, nether of which I wanted. So I hit the 'back' button but instead of taking me back to either edit or cancel if editing was not intuitive, the order went through according to the email I received shortly after
I emailed several times complaining but received the response, 'you ordered it there's nothing we can do'.
I still haven't received the goods 5 days later, despite the super fast delivery they say I ordered. Never ever again, because I think the process was a blatant scam.

Refund From Ozerty
I feel in all fairness I should report that ozerty.co.nz has refunded my account $90 which was their so called"eco charge".
I consider myself extremely lucky and I will never deal with this company again

Utter thieves. Twice the cost taken as "Service charge" AFTER checkout. The even more taken. DO NOT USE.

Paid $37 for a game, got charged an extra $45 for ‘free’ shipping. Had to cancel my credit card after seeing other reviews saying Ozerty took multiple unauthorised payments.

I bought 2 hover balls. a red one and a blue one. @ 36.49 and paid an extra amount of 4.69? for expedited shipping. Then I saw your reviews
on Ozerty and checked my credit card they have charged me two amounts. Now I find they have charged me for a further two balls that I did not order and I am not impressed

When I tried to make payment it went to an error page. I checked email and order had gone through on my credit card with a service charge of $29!!! Reported to my bank. Waiting to hear from Ozerty re refund!!!

Total scam… cost me $45.50 for a $15 item. Ignore the FREE SHIPPING it’s not free. All in the small print apparently. I couldn’t find it.

Scam / fraud 100%.

They hide checkboxes in the order form, then charge you three times more than the amount you expected.
