Warren was a true gentleman and an extremely good grafter.

We’ve recently completed on our first home with Owl Homes and have had a really positive experience overall.

A special mention has to go to Lisa, who has been absolutely wonderful from the very beginning. We first started speaking to her in the summer last year, well before we reserved our home in January and she was always so friendly, approachable and helpful. Throughout the whole process she’s gone above and beyond to answer our questions, keep us updated and reassure us whenever we needed it. As first time buyers, it’s been so lovely having someone we could always speak to and who genuinely cared about our experience.

There were a few bumps and delays along the way but Owl were understanding and supportive throughout and helped make things as straightforward as possible.

We’d also like to thank Aaron, who did our home demo and was really helpful in showing us around and explaining everything we needed to know before moving in.

We couldn’t be happier with our new home!

Owl Homes have been an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process of buying my new home. From putting the deposit down with Subanu to dealing with Andy/Mick the Site Managers they have been incredibly helpful and friendly. The Owl Customer Service Team have been amazing, helping to sort minor issues out since moving in. They have made the whole experience of buying a new build a pleasurable experience. They are a great developer and their houses are truly beautiful. I can't recommend them enough. I look forward to many happy years in my Owl Home 🦉

We completed on our property this week at the Oakwood site and we’d just like to express how lovely and helpful the whole team have been. Especially Lisa and Lee!
Lisa was very professional and extremely helpful every time I contacted her. She would always accommodate our visit requests and be available over the phone which was incredibly helpful and reassuring if I had a quick query to be answered.
Lee was very informative at the home demo and again was incredibly helpful and informative with any questions we had.
We’re looking forward to settling into our new home.

This review is solely for Warren, customer care repairs. He is an asset to this company! He has attended my property on multiple occasions to rectify problems and he does so with great care and attention to detail. He goes the extra mile to make sure that the customer is happy and always tidies up after himself. I recently left him to attend my property while I was away and apart from the rectified issues it was as if he hadn't been there.

The rest of customer care however requires considerable improvement. It is almost impossible to get a problem rectified without multiple contact attempts and chases. In fact if it wasn't for Warren this would probably be a 1 star review.

Warren arrived as agreed and fixed the issue with my stairs making strange noises. He put my mind at rest as to the cause and left the work area clean and tidy.

We visited the development at Oakwood as we were hoping to purchase a new home. Unfortunately the purchase has not gone ahead but I wanted to review our experience. Lisa was wonderful, engaging and professional during all of our interactions. She kept us up to date with all progress, and in our opinion did go above and beyond in her role. Subanu has been an incredible source of support from the moment I walked into the show home office and decided that I wanted to purchase the plot I had viewed. Throughout the entire process, her communication was outstanding, keeping me informed and reassured every step of the way.

Even during a particularly stressful week leading up to completion, Subanu went above and beyond, providing regular updates and proactively chasing anything she could on her side to help move things forward. Thanks to her dedication and professionalism, the move itself was seamless.

Unfortunately, my experience since moving into my new home has been very different.

Whilst Subanu and the onsite team have continued to offer support whenever they can, my property is next door to the sales office and, for the past 15 weeks, I have experienced continual issues with customers, staff and contractors parking in my allocated parking spaces, despite having a signed agreement with Owl Homes that these spaces would remain available until my garage is returned to me.

I have repeatedly had to ask for vehicles to be moved, and even carrying out improvements to my new home has involved unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Although Owl Homes’ senior management have apologised on several occasions and have confirmed that additional signage has been ordered, I have been disappointed that meaningful action has taken so long and that the contractual agreement has not been consistently upheld and to date still isn’t being upheld.

What should have been one of the happiest times of my life has instead been overshadowed by months of unnecessary stress and frustration. It is incredibly disappointing that such an excellent purchasing experience has been followed by an aftercare experience that falls so far below the standard I expected from owl homes Head Office and senior management.

Based on my own experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering entering into a contractual agreement with Owl Homes, where part of your property is to be used by the developer, to think very carefully before doing so. Personally, I would not enter into such an arrangement again.

I genuinely hope Owl Homes learns from my experience and improves how situations like this are managed in the future because, despite an excellent sales experience, a great team of builders onsite always there to help, my enjoyment of my new home has been significantly affected.

I recently visited Owl Homes’ showhomes and came away really impressed. Beautiful housetypes with thoughtfully planned layouts and lovely interiors that felt stylish and homely.

The sales staff were also extremely helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer questions and making the whole experience feel relaxed and informative. A really positive experience overall and definitely worth a visit if you’re considering a new home.

I’ve worked with the Commercial and Production teams at Owl for a number of years as part of their supply chain.
They have always valued the relationships with their subcontractors and suppliers and empowered them to deliver a high-quality product.
I would recommend anyone to work with them and buy one of their properties!

We moved into our new home last year and the process was brilliant. The sales lady was perfect- helpful, chatty and even stayed late to get us moved in on the Friday. We had a few minor issues after we moved in but we raised them with customer care and Warren, their operative, came out and sorted within 2 weeks. When he arrived he was polite, friendly and got into the job quickly, no messing around. Lizzie who sorted our issues out at head office was really friendly too. We’ve been so happy here and are always happy to tell people about our experience with Owl.

If I could give no stars I would! Shocking company. Customer care? No such thing.
Had major issues with our property from shower screens falling down to massive leaks. No accountability, or even an apology. Shocking.

My husband and I recently visited Owl homes in Alderton and have to say we couldn’t rate Caitlin highly enough . She spent a lot of time with us , and was very patient with all of our questions. Being in the new build business ourselves we were very impressed with the build quality , and the layout of the development too

Never had any issues with Owl homes, always good communication and willing to help with any issues!
