Ovannis Arvostelua 7

This business poses as an Australian online retailer. They are not. They list an address in Melbourne which is a fake office for offshore businesses. I purchased a pair of men's casual sneakers which were too small for my husband. Then spent the next 2 months trying to obtain a return authorisation, which was eventually met with multiple offers of partial refunds, ie, 20%, 30%, 50% refund. Eventually I convinced them to take back the shoes and provide a 100% refund - which I did receive once I could prove that the shoes had landed in Melbourne. However 2 weeks after I had posted them back to the provided Melbourne address, I received a voicemail from Aust Post to ask me to prompt Ovannis to collect the parcel or it would be returned to me. No surprise really.... as it would be very hard for them to collect the parcel from wherever they are (China??). All in all, they caused me a huge amount of inconvenience and I would advise others to give the site a big MISS.
And like others, wish I’d checked TrustPilot first!

Scam site! They say they are located in Australia but they arent! I received a top that I purchased but it was too small. Attempting to get a refund back has been impossible. First I was offered 5% refund, then 10% refund, then 25% refund and I kept saying I wanted to return it for a full refund. They gave me an address in Melbourne to return it to which I did, nobody was there to pick it up, so it went to a local post office for collection. I told them it was there to collect and they said they would pick it up but nobody did. Now it is being returned to me! Im sick of all the runaround they are giving me and will also be reporting them to scamwatch. Wish I had read these reviews before purchasing!

This is a scam site. More fool me for not checking reviews before I bought. The delivery is coming from China, not Melb. The phone number is disabled and there's no response to emails.
I'm trying to get my bank to do a charge-back.
Edit: 29/12/25 What eventually arrived was not what was advertised, and useless to me. Shirts cut wide and short with short arms - what shape do they think we are? Shiny synthetic fabric, not linen as advertised.
I'll update if I can do something about this.
Edit: 6/1/26 The person running Ovannis is a drop shipper in NSW. There seems to be no one in Melb. I'm going through the Fair Trading motions and if I need to I'll get them to step in.
Edit: 11/2/26 I emailed expressing my disappointment and requested a full refund in line with their 30 day guarantee and my rights in Australian Consumer Law, and my intention to involve Fair Trading if I had to. They offered me a 20% refund, a 30% refund, a 40% refund and a 50% refund, then gave me the return address. The delivery couldn't be made and the shirts were never picked up.
I emailed telling Ovannis of my lack of confidence in their intention to refund and my intention to turn the matter over to Fair Trading. A few days later the refund was in my account, less the return postage, which they are liable for.
Right now the refund is pending and the shirts are on their way back to me.

Bottom line, I don't think you'll get what you order from Ovannis, and if you want your money back you have to threaten them with the Dept of Fair Trading and spend $15 to $20 on wasted postage. I think Ovannis rely on people either not knowing their consumer rights (we have excellent consumer rights in Aust), or not having the persistence to make it to the end of the process.
Better yet, don't shop there in the first place.

This is a total scam, I just went throught months of this with LORENA SYDNEY, bought 2 beautiful dresses and a leather bag, dresses were disgusting, no one could wear it, bag wasnt leather it was a orange plastic tote.
After many emails they offered me 20% refund and I could keep items, i spent $250 & cant use or w1ant items. This wee1k thought id thoroughly checked out Ovannis, even google maps, to find its the same delivery poor tracking from Ch, even the email they replied with was the same used in LORENA SYDNEY, word for word. Total scam ...

Colour of top received was very different to picture. Sizing was way off. If I was aware it was coming from overseas, I would have questioned sizing, but company seems to want to show it's based in Melbourne. 60 bucks for a top that would have cost about 6 bucks from Temu.

I ordered two items, given a tracking number , however could not track the package
I attempted to contact the company via telephone, no answer and no ability leave a message, used their online form.
Five days later and several emails later, still no package.
Sent another email today awaiting a response
I too initially thought I was ordering from an Australian company

It show there is a shop in Melbourne Australia. But when order is placed, product ship from China and after 2 weeks, tracking show its still in China.
