Greyson kept me from running away, and made the sale.
Greyson was very helpful and got me the fare that Kayak originally said Ovago would give me.
But before starting the chat with Greyson, the first price that showed up on the Ovago page was $524.61, $70 more than KAYAK said you'd charge. The offer to chat for a possible discount brought Greyson into the picture, and he offered me $494.61, $30 less than Ovago's page, but still $40 more than KAYAK quoted. I said so, and was about to buy it through KAYAK. Greyson asked for a bit of time and said his team helped him find the fare I expected.
I'm not sure what to make of Ovago originally trying to charge me that extra $70. So I'm not sure about Ovago, but Greyson came through for me...and you, because I finally booked with you.
I wasn't expecting to be asked to tip (I'm not a frequent flyer), but despite the surprise, I gave him $8, the difference between this fare and what I would have paid KAYAK.
[edit: 4 stars instead of 5 because Ovago didn't offer the fare they were supposed to, and I had to jump through the extra hoop of a chat session.]

These people are a third world company
I had to cancel my flight due to medical reasons. The company says it is "standard operating procedure" to take up to a month for a refund. Why? It takes a nano second for them to take your money but there is this long laborious process to get my money back. I had insurance which seems to have helped some. I re-booked my flight with a better agent when my medical condition became better. He gave me a better flight for a great price. The agent made the difference, although they would not apply my former funds to the current flight due to "policy". I will remember my agent. He is the best even though he works for a lousy company.

Withholding Refund for Services I Never Received
I booked international tickets through Ovago for over $3,600. Due to an airline mistake, I was denied boarding not because of anything I did wrong. China Airlines later confirmed in writing that the No-Show penalty was waived and my tickets were refunded.
Despite this, Ovago withheld $1,610.03, claiming fake airline penalties and refusing to refund add-on services (travel insurance, support bundle, flexible ticket) all of which I never used. I provided written proof from China Airlines confirming the penalty waiver, but Ovago ignored it and kept asking for more “official” confirmation. They stalled the process for over 7 months, shifted blame, and refused to take accountability.
They also double-charged me a processing fee, despite my purchase of their Support Bundle, a deceptive and misleading practice.
I’ve filed complaints with the BBB, CFPB, FTC, and Attorney General, and will continue warning others. Stay away from this company, they do not stand behind their service or customers.

The entire trip was terrible. Had to see ticketing on both going to my destination and coming back. Just save yourself time and book with the airlines themselves. The airlines can’t do anything about the tickets if booked with a third party like Ovago. Won’t ever book with them again.

Initially I was a bit skeptical because…
Initially I was a bit skeptical because I was speaking with a Nigerian and considering the surge of internet fraud etc, I was very uncomfortable. However, Femmy assured me of the legitimacy of Ovago and he was extremely patient with me.

I have been stranded in Heathrow London…
I have been stranded in Heathrow London for 24 hours now. No hotel voucher, no bags, same clothes, and zero help from Ovago. I was told about a delayed flight from Chicago the same hour I arrived at ohare for my flight. Ovago said they’d start working on my connecting flight from London to Bahrain immediately. 7 hour flight later, no flight, they claimed I had tickets for 10pm, but never confirmed with the airline. They have sent me three generic emails just to say they’d start working are working on it with zero results. I’m still sitting here currently and no response from them. They couldn’t get me compensation, they won’t contact the airline that caused this issue, they won’t provide hotel, they can’t find my bags, avoid this garbage travel service at all costs. Terrible does not begin to describe them. 105 countries traveled and this is by far my worst experience.

Raavi was a lifesaver in helping me secure a last-minute flight from LAX to Chennai (MAA). Not only did she find a significantly better airline, but she also managed to get me a lower fare than what I was initially planning to book myself. I needed additional luggage allowance, and she went above and beyond to find an airline that included extra baggage at no additional cost — and still came in cheaper than my original option. We missed a connecting flight in Houston on our way to Auckland and got stuck there. The airline told us they couldn’t help because we booked through a third-party agency—Ovago—and we had to go through them instead. That’s when the real nightmare began.
Ovago not only failed to assist us, but they also canceled our entire trip, including our return flights from Australia, claiming the airline was to blame and there was nothing they could do. Their customer service was rude, unhelpful, and incredibly frustrating to deal with.
After hours on the phone, I finally got both Ovago and the airline on a conference call, during which the airline gave Ovago permission to rebook us on the same flight for the following day. They still didn’t book it. I stood at the gate while the flight was boarding, on yet another call with both parties, and Ovago continued to do nothing. Fortunately, the airline stepped up, did an override, and reopened the gate to get us on the plane.
This company was a complete failure at every step. I wouldn’t trust them with a bus ticket, let alone international travel. I sincerely hope no one else has to go through what we did.
