This organisation is a MESS. They chase you down, but do not reply to your messages. Training with them was an absolute shambles. They give false promises, which demotivates their employees. They don't work as a team, so nobody knows who's done what. It's been the worst experience ever.

I recently had the opportunity to attend an interview with Optime Group for the position of Check-in Agent at Bristol Airport, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Danielle Little, Senior Recruitment Consultant.

Danielle is extremely supportive, professional, and highly efficient in her role. I first applied in 2024, and she kindly scheduled interviews for me on two separate occasions.

She is very responsible and responds promptly to all communications, always ensuring that candidates are well-informed and comfortable. Her organisation skills, clear communication, and friendly approach truly reflect her talent.

It is rare to find a recruitment professional who combines efficiency with genuine care for candidates. Danielle is an asset to Optime Group, and I am truly grateful for her support and professionalism.

I tend to look at reviews with some scepticism. I read the reviews here and usually I thing somebody’s mom has written their review cos it’s so nice.

However I went for an interview this week and have to say from my experience the revjews were spot on. I was interviewed by Caitlyn Sturgon and she was fantastic. It was t like an intros all. Caitlyn was brilliant and a credit to the company. I look forward to starting at JLA. Thanks Caitlyn and optima. You train your staff well

My experience with Optime so far has been faultless. My interview was conducted by Danielle from Optime at Bristol Airport, where the process was professional and welcoming. Throughout the process Danielle’s communication has been not only informative, but prompt. I cannot fault the recruitment process at all. Thank you Optime!

applied for a position through Optime Group to work at the airport. I was told by Roxanna that I was hired and asked to pay £28 the same day for a DBS check. That was over a month ago, and was still waiting for a start date.

During that time, communication was absolutely terrible. I was constantly told I’d receive updates “soon,” yet my messages were repeatedly ignored. Eventually, I received a message saying the position had now been filled — after a month of waiting with no job, no income, and my rent falling behind.

I’m on Universal Credit and could have found another job by now if they’d been honest from the start. The excuse I was given was that their “client wasn’t responding,” but that doesn’t justify taking my money, my personal details, and stringing me along for weeks.

Optime Group now has all my sensitive information — HMRC details, bank details, DBS info — and I no longer trust them with it. I’ve asked for my data to be permanently deleted. (They have confirmed my data has been deleted)

The most insulting part was Roxanna saying, “I know you’ve been waiting, but we have been waiting long time too.” Easy to say when you’re getting your commission and pay, while I’ve been sitting here eating nothing for dinner because I’ve been waiting on a job that never existed.

This has been a complete waste of time, money, and trust. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before handing over any money or personal details to Optime Group.

**UPDATE**
I’ve since been contacted and received an apology, along with a refund, my DBS certificate, and confirmation that my data has been deleted. I was also asked to consider updating or removing my review

While I appreciate the apology my experience still stands, and I hope my review helps others make informed decisions.

Optime are a great company, who's staff are always friendly and make time for clients and candidates. They are keen on providing great customer service. Manchester Branch are wonderful with really good staff.

Finding a job with optime recruitment was a simple and easy process jack always got back to me via email and phonecall quickly to arrange anything that was needed for the process, would definitely use them again and thanks to jack beck for helping me get into work again easily 👍👍
