No integrity- no support, no accountability
I’ve now had two consecutive days of “attempted delivery” with no actual attempt made by OnTrac.
Both days, I was home and waiting. No one rang my doorbell, and no delivery driver came to my address.
On the second day, I canceled my plans and stayed home specifically for this delivery. While actively chatting with an agent and providing instructions in real time, I received a text saying delivery had just been attempted and failed. I immediately went outside and there was no driver or vehicle anywhere.
When I told the agent this in real time, they responded “Looks like you’re not in the chat anymore” and ended the conversation. After that, I received no further responses through chat or text.
For context, my address does not require an access code, gate, or call box. It’s a standard residential building with a doorbell, so there was no reason delivery couldn’t be completed.
This isn’t the first issue I’ve had. I’ve previously had packages marked delivered when they weren’t, and even had to search for a package that ended up blocks away.
At this point, the problem isn’t just delivery. It’s false delivery attempt reporting, lack of accountability, and no reliable customer support.
This has been extremely frustrating, especially because the package is time sensitive. I would strongly recommend avoiding this carrier if possible.

I’m BEYOND disappointed with OnTrac. They handled/delivered my Formula 1 package to the incorrect address therefore this experience has been frustrating from start to finish. Their tracking updates are made to be prolonged and inconsistent.
Customer service was no help either, you can never get in contact with an actual person They force you to direct yourself with a virtual robot with no actual solutions. I kept getting generic responses with no real effort to resolve the issue. This wasn’t just any package—it was a birthday gift that I bought with my hard-earned money.
I understand things can happen, but not having a package that i paid for and offering little to no support is unacceptable. I would not trust OnTrac with anything important ever again in my life.
The WORST
The WORST. Tracking updated once and then nothing. PrAna uses them and I’d never buy directly from them again. Worst customer service on both ends. This is the $ Store of shipping. Avoid any company that uses them.

I have never had a successful delivery from this company. Drivers "attempt delivery" but actually do not. This company also tells you up front they won't call your cell and even when you tell them to just leave the package outside the apartment complex door, they do not. Awful company, I am shocked they are still in business when there are plenty of other delivery services available. Truly terrible. Any vendor using them clearly doesn't care about customers.

This has got to be the worst delivery service ever. I have no idea how Walmart uses them for their 2 day service. The 3rd time the office was open (driver needs a fob from the office), totally made up. I think the driver stole the package but who knows. Walmart processed my refund but they lost a potential customer. Walmart if you are reading this then drop this company please.

I would give OnTrac a negative star if possible. This company and their drivers are the worst! My package said it was delivered so I opened the door and found NOTHING! I have a ring doorbell and reviewed it there was no attempt from the driver to even look for my apartment. You can’t even get ahold of anyone from this company their number doesn’t even work this is the Schertz Tx location . The 800 number from their main office doesn’t work either. The only contact with this company is through text messages and emails. Only to get an email two days later to say that the investigation they did said they were not at fault what a fucken joke. My $368.00 package lost or stolen and they are not at fault what BS!! Major brand name companies should not be using OnTrac. I’m reporting OnTrac to the BBB!!

This delivery company is the worst imaginable. For the past five days I have been waiting for a delivery from REI and I get nothing but lies that they’ve tried to make deliveries and they haven’t. REI and I both gave them explicit instructions with the gate code and my phone number and how to walk into the building and get to my apartment info for dummies ha ha. Today they said they tried to deliver which they didn’t. I’ve been here all day and they said “exception, needed additional info to complete delivery“ they either have hired absolute idiots for delivery drivers that can’t read that are dyslexic morons I don’t know there is something wrong with this company. Avoid them at all costs!

Absolutely the worst experience when dealing with a company. The photo of the "delivery" is of the wrong house. Stated this to the customer service bot and nothing. "Contact your seller" so basically they could back up the truck to the lake and dumb the whole load in the drink and nothing would come of it.

I go to their website (because their phone number doesn't even ring), and provide all my information again, still nothing, they don't even see it and my packages go back to the sender again. How are they even still in business? I'm seeing hundreds of other similar complaints. You guys have 1 freaking star!

If I could give this useless delivery service negative 1 million stars, I would. One star is even more than they deserve. Every single time this company is tasked with delivering something of mine, I don't get it. It either ends up at a different location or they simply lose it. It has gotten to the point that I hate this company so much I refuse to order from certain merchants if they use it. This company should be out of business and never used again. OH and it's funny they bought Lasership, another terrible delivery service.
Your package will NEVER arrive
Any company that uses ontrac, doesn't want to stay in business. These idoits contacted me by email to tell me they are "unable to locate your package". They then tell me to " contact your seller for further information". Do they give me the name of the seller? No! That would show some level of competence. I will assume they are just stealing everything, until I'm proven wrong. You have 1 job. Track packages.
Unless, you want to go out of business, do not work with these incompetent fools.
OnTrac Does Not Commit to Their Own Polices and Unreliable Deliveries
On April 6, 2026, I made a purchase from beprepared.com for a Faraday Backpack and
SavedByPackage Protection for $1.67 to protect my package if I don’t receive it. They used OnTrac as their delivery service, and I never received my order. OnTrac is supposed to be responsible for accurate delivery; however, they failed miserably. Someone took it
upon themselves to modify my shipping address. My
address is 160 S. ______________, Los Angeles, CA 90004, building 1, apartment 143. It doesn’t matter if I list 143-1 or 1-143. The 1 signifies I live in building 1. If the 1 is missing, my order can end up in building 2, which is the same address but a different complex. When OnTrac (tracking number:D10017275701952) delivered to wherever they delivered, they didn’t provide a picture. They didn’t specify if it was left in building 1 mailroom, by building 1 mailboxes, left at my door in building 1 unattended, or passed off to management. I canceled an appointment to be home. I have a doorbell, and it never rang. Nor did anyone knock. I watched the navigation, and it didn’t change from its location for several hours until it was actually delivered. I checked everywhere in building 1. I went to building 2 and checked their mailbox area, mailroom, and apartment 143 in building 2. Where did OnTrac deliver my package? Who removed my building
number 1 from my shipping address? If they had a question about my address, they knew how to reach me. They just decided to modify my address for whatever reason, but they never got permission from me to do that. What was the purpose of my paying for SavedByPackage Protection? They both want to pass the buck to each other and not resend my order or offer a refund, so I can purchase from another company that's more reliable and stands by their commitments.
Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Two failed delivery attempts. Gave instructions through the chatbot that were totally ignored. Still haven’t received my package. No actual customer service to contact other than a chatbot that isn’t very smart?!
Marked as delivered though never even out for delivery
They claimed to have delivered my package even though it had not even gone out for delivery, yet nothing was found on our property. I reached out to let them know that the package was missing, their response? "The tracking shows it was delivered, therefore we have delivered your package. Is there anything else we can help you with"
I actively avoid purchasing anything from companies who use Ontrac.
Very unreliable
Very unreliable. My $500 package was lost and nobody had an answer for what happened. The tracking lead all the way to arrived at local facility and some how it was lost. I think they steal packages. There is no way you have lots pf negative reviews and everyone's package is conveniently "lost."

Worst delivery company ever, they don't deliver when the package supposed to be delivered, no one to talk to on the phone, you do the chat with them, all they do is apologize and don't attempt to help you resolve the issue!

Because they were unable to comprehend my communications to deliver the package to an address I have received hundreds through ebay using PayPal I I had no other option than to return to send. I can no longer invest time in the only option of an ineffective chat bot.
