Great service
My request for service was processed promptly. The service representative was on time and had excellent customer service skills. They resolved the plumbing issue’s pretty quickly. I’ve used the service twice so far and it has been great. I would definitely recommend them!

Repair is now complete
Repair is now complete. Very professional and pleasnt repair person came, didn't have part needed and company had to order. Company called back and reported part was discontinnued and I needed new over. I found part, called them back, they then ordered and when it came in was installed and all is good now. Disappointed that I had to tell them where to obtain part.

The technician arrived on time and was professional. Although he was unable to fix our washer, he determined that we could receive the stipend for use towards a new washer - we received the check in a timely manner and have replace the washer. This was a good experience.

Buyers beware
I first started using this company a few decades ago when they were known as Nicor Services. At the time, their service was exemplary, and I referred many of my friends to them. However, when the name changed to Pivotal Home Solutions, the quality of service began to decline, and the monthly warranty plans grew expensive.
Now that the company has rebranded as OnCourse Home Solutions, the situation has become completely unacceptable. Service calls are routinely canceled automatically. On multiple occasions, I have called on the day of a scheduled appointment only for a customer service representative to tell me no service was scheduled. Even after rescheduling, I faced the exact same issue on the new dates.
My experience with trying to replace my furnace highlights their poor business practices. I requested an installation estimate from OnCourse, but out of curiosity, I checked with other vendors. The quotes I received from competitors were a few thousand dollars cheaper. Wanting to give OnCourse a chance, I asked if they would honor their price-match guarantee to beat the lowest bid. They never responded.
Most recently, I received a letter stating that my monthly warranty premium would increase by 67%. This new rate is 50% higher than the most expensive plan listed on their official website. When I called to question this, I was simply told that this was the current rate. After receiving no further response from the service team, I emailed the Vice President. I then received a call from an individual claiming to be a manager, who rigidly insisted that the 67% increase was correct. As the conversation became increasingly unprofessional, I instructed her to cancel my warranty.
Although I received a cancellation confirmation via email that same day promising a follow-up notice by postal mail, a few weeks have passed and nothing has arrived. Furthermore, instead of issuing a prorated refund for the remainder of the month, OnCourse Home Solutions has continued to charge my credit card.
In summary, my experience with OnCourse Home Solutions has been utterly pathetic. The service is unreliable, the warranty pricing is unreasonably high, and the management is the worst I have ever encountered. I am sharing this review so that current and future customers can make an informed decision before choosing OnCourse Home Solutions.

too expensive
Cancelled them becuase they were too expensive. they tried to keep me by offering half of what i was paying. if you could afford to accpet that money then it should have been offered in the first place. the cancellation person told me not to pay the current bill due on 7-10 that it was the next billing cycle and we still had 7 days in the current cycle. they billed me anyway and tried to tell me that the 7-10 bill was for june1 - june 30. tried to tell me that the bill due on 7-10 was paying for the past month of june. no one bills you for a previous month, you have to pay up front for the current month.
