This company is a scam. We had a weekend booked in London and they cancelled on us at the last minute saying the hotel had no availability. We checked online and by phone and there were plenty of rooms available. They failed to reply to any of our emails and there are no contact numbers to speak with anyone.
Please don't waste your money. This is the worst customer service we have ever experienced

Booked a theatre trip and hotel stay with a voucher for 2 people for a 40th birthday weekend. Paid an additional £159 for a third person, then £12 per person for the Thames Cruise and then on top of that an additional £45 due to it being a Saturday show. The morning off our trip they emailed and stated they had accidently released our booking and it was now cancelled. They offered a different hotel but with no theatre show (which we could rebook later on) or to rebook in 12 months. We had no choice to accept the hotel as we had a lot booked and people had travelled to make the weekend and would of been out of pocket. We waited a total of 5 hours for a confirmation of the 3rd hotel offered to us and upon arrival they were expecting us to pay for it as OMG Hotels hadn't informed them we already had. Due to a very upset birthday girl, we found seats at the show we had been told was actually sold out that day, at an additional £285, on top of what we have already lost due to no fault of our own. We were unable to use the Thames Cruises passes, due to the time we actually received them. I have emailed and emailed but had no response to booking the other tickets and also to the issues we had on the weekend which is extremely disappointing and upsetting for all involved. Believe me when I say.. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!
Avoid at all costs or pay the price of disappointment
I booked a theatre and hotel experience through Activity superstore and was directed to OMGHotels website to book the relevant venues' gave them 3 alternative dates and they came back and said that they had booked for the 31st October and send the confirmation through. they said we would receive the hotel and theatre tickets no later than 48 hours prior to the show and stay. this came and went. i emailed them as the chat service was not working and no phone number to contact them. I travelled to London from Leeds thinking that the matter would be sorted but was met with complete silence from them. I contacted activity superstore who also couldn't raise anyone at OMGHotels.
On the morning of the show and hotel stay I receive an email saying that they had messed up my booking and I was free to rebook! I was in London by this point and had to book another hotel so I had somewhere to stay! The email did state as compensation I would get a free meal!! I'd rather stick pins in my eyes than book anything through this outfit again.
Having returned home, I complained to activity superstore. as far as I was concerned, my contract was with them and not their supplier. I demanded a full refund, cost of travel, emergency hotel and compensation. Activity superstore responded and honoured the full refund and £150 compensation.
The whole experience has left a sour taste, I wont be booking through these types of gift providers again who have no control over their third party suppliers. Just go direct and cut out the hassle.
If I could give minus stars to OMG hotels, I would. I just wish I'd read the Trustpilot reviews before booking. I am not alone, there are many disappointed people who've had their experiences ruined by this rouge outfit.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Despite mistake after mistake they continually choose not to communicate. We booked via wowcher a couple of months ago and despite assurance that we would have confirmations latest 48 hrs before they provided Paddington experience tickets on the day of departure - we had chased with little reply. They then went on late morning on the day of check in to cancel our hotel booking - ie hours prior to check in time - when they had already issued the hotel booking confirmation 2 days before just not the experience voucher. It was too late as we were already arriving. The alternative was miles away and they choose to cancel and refund rather than help us and they did that without our agreement. The only saving grace was not to cancel the experience. All they needed to do was communicate appropriately we know mistakes happen. They choose to leave the problem with us and blamed the Novotel Hotel Group. They have ignored any follow up including no acknowledgement of our complaint.
It’s a shambles - as the other person said avoid avoid avoid.

We had booked a trip to London but needed to cancel last minute due to a family medical emergency.
I contacted Frannie Jenkins and she was absolutely amazing and with a small cost we managed to freeze our booking.
She was so helpful and very understanding.

I would give a 0 if I could failed to reply to any messages by email or live chat did not deliver tickets and didn’t even bother to notify me they had cancelled my experience just as well I rang the hotel they had night before at 9pm to find out it had been cancelled train tickets from Norwich brought and other experiences book this company are scum and I better get my money back which as it happens was no cheaper than booking separately myself. AVOID THIS COMPANY

I recently had the pleasure of booking a two-night break for my parents through OMGhotels, and I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish! The highlight of their trip was, of course, attending the spectacular production of Wicked the Musical, which was nothing short of amazing. Seats were perfect we then upgraded to stalls.
From the moment we reached out to OMGhotels, the customer service was exceptional. Frannie, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for my parents. When their travel plans met an unexpected hurdle due to train cancellations caused by the weather, Frannie was incredibly helpful and proactive. She not only assisted in adjusting their itinerary but also seamlessly added an extra night for the Monday, demonstrating her dedication to making their experience as stress-free as possible.
The hotel was great for them. My parents were thrilled with the tickets to Wicked, and they haven’t stopped raving about it since they returned!
The attention to detail, especially from Frannie, truly enhanced their experience, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a memorable adventure. Thank you for a perfect break—my parents can’t stop talking about it, and I’m sure we'll be booking with you again soon!

Booked through a voucher from Activity Superstore back in JUNE 2024 paid £219.99 for said voucher - This included an overnight stay for 2 people and an experience of our choice, we chose the Shard. To then be told it’s sold out for my chosen date, however I could upgrade and ended up paying ANOTHER £59. Baring in mind this was a gift to my partner for his birthday weekend.
Was then told I would receive the booking vouchers 48 hours prior to our experience. 48 hours passed and I was concerned so emailed again to be told they can be sent out anytime up to 11pm that day… Still NO voucher! It was the day before our visit to London, we had no idea of times we could check in, times of our experience, so as you can imagine I wanted to get a table booked prior to our visit for his birthday meal whilst staying as it is obviously extremely busy in London. To then be told THE DAY BEFORE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GO ‘ I’m writing to let you know of an issue we’ve had reported last night to us with your hotel by your travel provider. They’ve advised there has been a system error which released your hotel booking. Your attraction is unaffected.
We asked for them to rebook however they don’t have the availability to do so’
I was then offered an alternative hotel, no where near the standard of the hotel I paid EXTRA for. I politely declined this offer, explained my frustration as the whole weekend was ruined and with response from them they said ‘ I can see you’ve said in your other email you’d prefer to take a refund now so I will action this for you. There will be two refunds you’ll receive. One will be a refund for the original voucher. And the other will be the separate upgrade fee you paid. Both will go back to the original payment methods used. Please note this can take up to 30 working days.’
This email was sent to me on the 14th June 2024.
STILL to this date I’m trying to chase my refund, I’ve sent numerous emails, no response on phone lines and today’s date is 25th November 2024.
We are a family, we have 2 children and to be put completely out of pocket £278.99 by a company that literally SCAMS people for a living is just disgusting. They have made no effort to resolve this issue, I’ve been patient, I’ve been polite and I really don’t understand how this company is even allowed and how the people employed even sleep at night.
Scam avoid
Had a voucher from The Activity Superstore and exchanged for a 3 star hotel with theatre. This cost me £140 to upgrade which I paid. Omghotels then acted as a third party so booked the date and theatre show. Wanted a Saturday show so was told 2 tickets would be an extra £30. Also asked if I would like to upgrade to a 4* star hotel for an extra £88 which I decided to do. Total paid to Omghotels £118. On 21/11/24 received the hotel voucher for Hilton London Kensington. At 0658 on 23/11/24 an email was sent from the manager, cancelling the whole trip and blaming the hotel. Also saying that they tried to rebook but they don’t have availability!. Straight away I emailed the manager back, as what a surprise, you can’t contact anyone by telephone and I also checked Hilton London Kensington website and there were plenty of rooms available! Omg have offered to rebook the trip which after this fiasco/scam I imagine I’d get all the way to London for it to be cancelled again. The Activity Superstore has had £238.99 and Omg have had £118 of my money, a total of £356.99 which I probably won’t get back.

I had a theatre and afternoon tea gift from my sisters through Wonderdays who subcontracted to Omghotels...I booked the tickets and upgraded the seats as I have mobility problems..which cost me £60. By the 1st of October I hadn't received my e-tickets... performance was on the 2nd October. I emailed Omghotels and was told that the theatre had got the date wrong and there were no tickets available for this performance with the upgraded aisle seat I needed...we were offered a further year to book and two free Thames river tickets...or a full refund. I opted for the further year to book as it was a birthday gift. From that day forward I haven't heard another word from this company despite repeated emails on my part. I eventually contacted Wonderdays who paid my sister back the original purchase price...after a little twisting of arms on my part... but at least they did it.
The £60 unfortunately was between myself and Omghotels and I haven't received that back.
It isn't a huge amount of money but I am in my seventies and live on a very tight budget so to me it's more than I can lose.
I see from looking at their entry in Companies House that their accounts are now posted in red as overdue...so give this company a wide berth...scam artists.

0* should be an option! This company is a scam. Booked tickets for 4* hotel and theatre tickets months ago for October. Paid extra for a better hotel and guaranteed stalls seating as I could see at the time there was 80% of the tickets still available for the show. £388 paid in total. It said I would receive the hotel voucher no later than 48 hours before the stay and tickets within 48 hours. I travelled down the day before so it was less of a rush on the theatre day. I emailed about my hotel voucher and tickets the morning of the day I travelled down. They responded the following morning (the day of the theatre and stay) to say they were very sorry but the hotel provider had booked the wrong date and they couldn’t now accommodate me! Absolute rubbish! I’d contacted the hotel back in August to look at adding an extra night and they had me booked in then. They offered me a full refund or to reschedule within the next 12 months. Why would I trust them again?! I rang the hotel they told me my hotel was cancelled by the booking company A WEEK BEFORE! Yet OMG failed to tell me. I was stranded in London with nowhere to stay for the night and no theatre tickets for my nephews 13th birthday. The female who emailed back was quite rude and abrupt, anyone would think I’d stolen her money! I had to pay again for another hotel for the night as our train back wasn’t until the next day and pay for the theatre tickets again which she didn’t seem to care about as in her words ‘it was my choice to travel down and I should have taken insurance out’. (That in itself screams red flags!) Why wouldn’t I have travelled down?! I wouldn’t have even known I had no bookings if I hadn’t emailed the day before! I went to the theatre and they checked and my tickets were never booked! I asked for the refund which OMG said I could have and asked when I would get this. No reply. Other emails sent since yet still no reply and no other way to contact them. I have reported this company to trading standards and I suggest that anyone else who has had the same experience as me does the same.

Ended up paying now 3 hrs before checkin they’ve cancelled due to "overbooking" called the hotel and they actually had plenty of rooms.
They’re now trying to book us into a much worse hotel with no compensation.

You have two happy customers. So we are gladly leaving the review. Chelsea was super helpful and really took the stress of planning my wife's 40th away from me. I wanted to make it extra special. We had two nights in London and we paid a small upgrade fee a 5 star hotel. She made the hotel aware of the special occasion and also made us feel really important. We went up the Shard for the first time and then the following evening we went to the theatre for Back to The Future - as we've been waiting to see this for some time. It was worth the wait. Thanks for all the extra support. We now have another booking for January this time with the kids to see Mrs Doutbfire we opted for 4 star this time. Great service again although it was a different booking agent.

Here’s an update on the ongoing refund situation:
I was originally owed £250, but for some reason, OMGhotels decided to refund only £30. This refund was supposed to be processed by October 31, but it’s now November 18, and there's still no resolution. I can’t stress enough how poorly this company treats its customers—essentially taking people’s money and robbing them of an experience they paid for, often canceling just a day before the trip.
i just hope this stops others from using this company and might save them on being scammed.

Still no refund from this terrible company. Trust pilot have said they have acknowledged my original review and that is all they have done. No response no refund.
Be very aware that this company are not reliable and will take your money. Always read Trust pilot their reviews are invaluable.
