Beautiful, but unfortunately not great
Updated: I wasn't expecting it to have such an elasticated feel. The details clearly state there is 5% elastane in the fabric, and it is 95% silk. The 5% causes the fabric to be very stretchy and strangely clingy which is unexpected in higher end nightwear, particularly as I chose a more generous size. In the terms and conditions it states that VAT will be added to the final cost, but it would be better to include it upfront, as some may find this off-putting, and it is unusual to do this within a company operating within the UK. Since posting my original review, I've also been asked to post a further review which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

Thank you for your review, please be assured we take your comments seriously because in fact they help us evolve. To answer your question, we use a combination of 95% silk and 5% elastane for the chemises because we find that the silk moves better over the hips, especially if a lady is more curvy. Personally I also think it make the fabric a little stronger and performs better wash after wash.
The VAT thing is a bit complicated... we have lots of customers from North America and they do not need to pay VAT hence showing the price on the product page without VAT but with a note clarifying that the price is ex vat... however I know it is not ideal and we are trying to somehow make this clearer for our customers... where the system knows your country of origin. This may be a little too sophisticated for our current platform.
Finally not sure why you received two prompts, I will dive into that now...
